Is the last folk-based?

Lavani reminded me of the deadly lavani in Bhumika, of which I can remember the tune but not the words now. Lavani by Arshpreet?

Shyam Benegal's Manthan also had 'Mero Gaam Gatha Pare'. Abhilasha?

speaking of lavanis the one from anjaam, 'main kolhapur se aayi hoon' is quite likeable too, arshpreet singing it will be nice

then there's the marwari 'palo latke' from nauker -
harshit and mirande
i also like 'o re kanchi' from asoka - irfan and priyani

isnt 'mere bhole balam mere pyaare balam' from padosan based on a bangla folk tune? - abhaas for this one

how abt 'tum ho meri main tumhara chota sa sansar hamara' by euphoria ? i quite like that one too

Yes - mere bhole balam is definitely a bengali folk tune....

Wouldnt 'dil ka haal sune dilwaala' also qualify as folk?
