I just had a negative thought sneak in... EVEN Dev Anand films (and other oldies) have dud songs in them and with our luck, they will invite him and then the really bad songs will be sung by the contestants.... okay this prospect is enough to make me cry.

u know the same thot crossed my head as i was listing down my songs ... some of these songs are so difficult to sing that we might end up listening to duds

though i will prefer duds sung well to these classics ruined 😊

Yes, he is truly "young at heart", still acting and directing movies. I've seen some his recent movies, Love in Time Square and Censor, and really, he has more energy than some of the newcomers in his films. Age is just a number.

It would be nice to have an entire episode (or two, three, four LOL) dedicated to him and his films (either as an actor or director)

I love all the songs from Guide. It would be nice to hear songs from that beautiful movie. We already din dhal jaye from Toshi in one of earlier episodes.

And after this discussion, it was Pritam we had to settle for on Friday night! Sigh!

we did have jagjit singh on saturday ... however no mention of his songs or even a ghazal special epi for that matter 😭
what a loss!!!

i actually like some of pritam's songs. i'm just tired of hearing them again and again on these programs.
