Dev Anand songs - Page 2

Devanands songs are evergreen and so melodious.Mcm u really have a list of my fav songs.

Will one show be enough? I don't remember a Dev Anand special in any of GS' series before this. So I think they have to compensate by doing a weekend. And then we (haha) can do so many themes: Solo, duet, female singers in DA films, Dev Anand's choice round. I would be in the seventh heaven of delight.

DA is also appropriate because he has such a good track record of identifying and nurturing new talent.

Great idea :) There are some many nice ideas for future themes in the show.

Yes, he is truly "young at heart", still acting and directing movies. I've seen some his recent movies, Love in Time Square and Censor, and really, he has more energy than some of the newcomers in his films. Age is just a number.

It would be nice to have an entire episode (or two, three, four LOL) dedicated to him and his films (either as an actor or director)

I love all the songs from Guide. It would be nice to hear songs from that beautiful movie. We already din dhal jaye from Toshi in one of earlier episodes.

Maybe there can be a double song round where they have to do two different rasas back to back. Like Sonya's listing for Mirande.

They can think of inviting Anil Kapoor, Govinda and God knows who else but it never occured to them that they could invite Dev Anand?

you are so right sahana.why cant they call dev anand,dilip kumar,ashaparekh,nanda,vijayantimala,jeetendra,shammi,saira, waheeda and others on saturdays..why oh why!!i too will be in 7 th heaven.the show will definitely do better.but these people have no guts.(anil kapoor has gone to another show..we may have ganesh hegde next?)

on fridays the show can have all the latest hits..and saturdays retro..sigh!

At least if they call guests like these, there will be a greater variety of songs to choose from. We wouldn't have to listen to third rate songs!

I just had a negative thought sneak in... EVEN Dev Anand films (and other oldies) have dud songs in them and with our luck, they will invite him and then the really bad songs will be sung by the contestants.... okay this prospect is enough to make me cry.
