If u will hav to give audition for ASVOI.

hello guys,,

how is evryone doing..?i hav been watching dese reality based singers hunt show frm a long long tym and m a fan of dese shows..but one thing dat i still cant make is wat type of song i will lyk to sing if i will hav to giv auditions for any of show lyk dis..do judges give priority to ppl who has melodious voice or dey give priority to who sings better at dat moment..?

so just one question if u will hav to give audition for asvoi..which song u will lyk to sing..some popular song?song frm a new movie?old movie classical song?or a hiphop song?😃

I think you need to know your tonal quality and sing a song that suits your voice the best... 😊 Remember its just those 5 minutes with you, so go with the genre that you think you can give your best.. I guess, thats your best chance to impress the judges 😳

But I have a question here... out of the thousands that usually always turn up in these auditions, be it any contest, how do they trim it down to the few hundreds whom they listen to? 😕 Does anyone have any idea? 😕

although i have never ever sung and have no intentions of doing so - for the sake of the question, i wud like to sing a song that is most close to my heart - so probably i wud sing either "tere dar par sanam", or "choo kar mere mann ko", or "tere jaisa yaar kahan" and lastly "tere bin"(by rabbi)... i have listed 4 😕 maybe one in each round as i progress up clearing each round 😆 😛

I have the same confusion too - I am not even sure if they actually listen to few hundred ?? 😕 If its just one day audition in any city , considering 5 minutes per contesants....evenif they listen to 100 participants, they will be spending 9 to 10 hr on same, I dont think judges must be spending these many hrs - however not sure 😕

Sorry but you did not get the comment. Why are you assuming people here hate SRGMP? 😕
I watch SRGMP as well and visit the forum. Anyway...

Usually when a ASVOI contestant sings a song composed by HR or VS, they get put down by the ASVOI judges. If I want to get selected, its best that I do not select a song composed by a SRGMP mentor.

Hope that makes sense? 😕
