Well needless to say teachers hold an indispensable position in our life. I owe a lot to my "Good" teachers. I am specifically using the adjective because not all teachers are good teachers. In my childhood, I lacked confidence. Therefore I was not a bright student and so was not paid attention in the class. Teachers always used to pay attention to only good students. I was particularly weak in Maths. God I feared it the most. But when I was in my 5th standard, A new maths teacher was appointed and her name was Mrs. Kiran and she used to teach with much patience and without and haphazard. She was very supportive to weak students like me. Paid specific attention to me. And I was so happy when I scored 80 marks for the first time in Maths in finals. So she was the one who provided a stepping stone to my self-confidence. After that, though I am still not very bright in maths but I don't fear it anymore. I was very good in English subject and had lot more confidence in it than any other student in the class. But I needed guidance and attention there too. Then came my favorite teacher Mrs. Jyoti. She was very good in teaching and had a own way to make students learn everything. She always praised me for my English skills and I improved drastically In it. Since then I always scored highest in English and no one could beat me in it and I have always been favorite of every English teacher that came. 😊 Then came my next favorite teacher Mrs.Seema Baatish in plus 1. Mrs Jyoti improved my written English and Mrs. Seema improved my spoken English. She always encouraged me to improve my communication skills and I owe my present confidence in comm.skills to her.

Now comes college. My fav professors have been Professor Shravan, Prof.Bhatti, Prof, Dilpreet, Prof.Gagan and Prof. Paramjeet. Jitni tarreef karun inki utni kam. Professors have a different personality and thinking altogether. All these professors were exceptionally good in their field of subject and very open minded. I particulary liked Prof.Dilpreet who always used to encourage to present my views on a topic of her subject and she was fond of me too. I owe my present self-confidence to all my college professors. I wished them through sms today. May be they don't remember me any more but I can never forget them. Love you all my teachers.

" Like fire in a piece of flint knowledge exists in mind/ Suggestion is the friction which brings it out"- Swami Vivekananda. Its the teachers indeed who act as that " friction" which help to bring out the 'fire' of our knowledge.😊Awesome excellent post Aman!!👏 This subject made me emotional!! Well coming to me..my first teacher is my mom who taught me so well & with such perfection that helped me to score very good marks in exams. Hats off to her patience & sincerity with which she taught me & helped me to create a strong base in studies! Next comes my elder sister. Needless to say she taught me too with great sincerity & dedication. i still can not forget how she explained me " Cold War" chapter of history in class X. She is a professor now & I feel privileged to be her student. Now comes my school. My favorite teachers were Loreinee Miss ( Class teacher of class 1 ), in sr section Iva Miss ( Bengali ), Chhabra Miss ( Chemistry ), Chinmayee miss ( English ),Sudeshna Miss ( geography ) & Sovana Miss ( History ) were & are still my hot favorites. They taught really well, explained & inspired me..a lot!! In my college...my honors professors Dr A.Chatterjee, Mrs S.Gandhi, Mrs S.Roy are my favorites. They helped me to bring out my hidden potentials even some times using stricter measures. At University Prof. Md Suleiman & Dr M.Roy were my favorites. The way by which they gave lectures really was awesome!
I have been lucky of being the favorite of all my teachers all along...even the teachers whom i haven't mentioned adore me a lot. Today i'm myself a teacher & I try to follow the guidelines of my teachers & be a good teacher to my students. God has been very kind to bestow me with loads of love & respect of all my dear students. Well in this journey called life..I wish to learn each& moment till i breathe my last!
