Kamya to do cameo in Ambar Dhara

About her role, Kamya - who has already started shooting for the show - says, "Mine is a 10-episode role, which will come on air soon. I will be sporting different looks and won't be wearing sarees or heavy jewellery. So let's see how it works. Here too I will be playing a bitch. It has become my tag now but I am enjoying it because at least people recognize you."

She further adds, "My first day of shoot was really nice. I used to do episodic roles earlier however because of two dailies I could not do so lately. But now I have left Woh Rehnewali so I can manage to shoot for another episodic."

What about Dulhann then? "Now I can concentrate fully on Dulhann. I am happy with my character and the way it is developing. Earlier, they used to shoot some with my dummy due to lack of time but now that won't happen. Also, a huge twist is taking place next month which is yet to be scripted by the creative team."

Kamya has won most of the television awards this year for her negative role in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. Recently, she quit Woh Rehnewali Mehlon Ki, where she used to play Kamya, as she did not want to portray the role of a grandmother. She has been replaced by Krutika Desai, who was last seen in Tumhari Disha.
