Vikram's LOVE was his simple LOVE for someone who would LOVE him the same way he is a simple guy who saw sweetness in that wicked Sarika who changed her name as Madura & thought he was an easy go guy to get to and FAKE LOVE... Little did he know that she was reaching HIGH to seek him to be rich or even have any patience that he can grow in his business. Sadly some realities are there in Life where one sees LOVE in one way which the other thinks more of material more of status & more of power & money ... SO Vikram was not someone who could provide that soon and she walked out on him.. Vikram;s love was somewhere not the LOVe which Sarika/ Madhura deserved...As u said both Shobha & Vikram have the sam case with Love they trusted respected their LOVE But alais the person who they thought deserved it were absolutely selfish ...Duration of that love can be different as when Shobha questioned that my love was with me 9 years family & kids what was ur love how long well that time indeed Vikram was deeply hurt as duration and ur Love has no gauge Maybe thats the reason he always felt Hate for Woman marriage commitment as he being a sensitive guy too whi has kept many layers above his deep pricking hurtful heart felt it was pointless to see these commitments & the LOVE ...
