This week has been a turning point in PreJas relationship as I was able to view different shades of Prem. On Monday's episode we saw Prem's caring side and I felt it continued to tuesday's episode/the next day, he was oddly calm even when Teja accused him of spiking her drink and being characterless until it once again involved DSR's name, he lost control over himself once his dad's name got involved, he couldn't hear "kya yahi sanskaar diya tumhara dad ne", he once again became the previous vengeful Prem who was just a moments ago in the mood of dropping the game with just Teja accepting her defeat. I'm not saying she should've accepted her defeat or should've bend her head in front of wrong-doers but its the reality that we do tend to compromise when we have a bigger goal in life.

The picture in reality isn't always what we see like not all the corrupt officers in government offices are morally wrong, some are forced to do so by their higher officials and the politicians ruling that area. They bend their heads to have a peaceful life and to avoid constant transfers to some rural areas or in the worst cases get dismissed. Teja has always been vocal about her mom's dreams and she has also worked hard to fulfil it but when its now time to bend a little, she isn't able to give it all, she is trying her best to avoid nasty situations but her best isn't sufficient. If only she din't say those words about Prem's dad then...

I saw guilt looming in Prem when she was pleading the principal explaining her hardships and her family's sacrifices. He seems to understand the similarities between them, how important their respective families are for them. The guy who framed her can also easly destroy all the evidences and no one would dare open mouth against him, amidst this how did Teja find the proofs. My guess is Prem himself planted the proofs which would prove Teja's innocence, he did the act without giving it much thought but when he heard the consequences from Teja, he regretted it high time and helped her out of it.

I don't know about the proof planting and all, but I agree with you on your point about bending down. Sometimes it's in our best interests to just do what we're told by people who have greater authority than us rather than fighting for what's "right." In fact, one could say that Teja could have avoided everything that happened by simply listening to Arjun, Vinay, and Ajju on the first day of school rather than outsmarting (or outrunning😛) them. But I think the characteristic that defines Teja is her resolve to do what is right unless circumstances become extreme (e.g. Prem threatening to destroy the college if she didn't apologize). And as far as I understand Teja, she is willing to say sorry and forgive and forget as long as the other person doesn't pass their limits, and this is a fact she's stated herself multiple times in the show already. She's already tried to avoid getting into fights with Prem by talking to him.
I think that a lot of her personality stems from her father's teachings when she was younger considering she's had flashbacks of him multiple times already. Which explains why she feels the need to always do what's right. I have a good feeling her father was killed by DSR for that exact reason - he stood up to him rather than bowing down. And that also explains why her mom is so against her samaaj seva.
But the fact of the matter is, even if she had listened to Arjun, Vinay, and Ajju on the first day, or even if she hadn't ended up going to DSR's college in the first place, a character like Teja would've eventually landed herself up in trouble because of her righteousness. I guess that's the part of her personality that we can consider "grey," her need to always do what's right, because it can get her as well as other people around her in trouble.

I think Teja is just as tempestuous as Prem, just in different ways, the show promotions kept emphasizing that she is ziddi, they are in a way sometimes 2 sides of the same coin, she is a good girl but she is also stubborn and tempestuous, she also has been brought up with a lot of pride and she also has learnt to be self-reliant, so for her to bend her head to Prem is difficult. Practically, she could have said sorry and just moved but then again that's not in her character sketch. Also while I think initially, she was ready to compromise, now she has reached a stage of no return, she was like a wild cat in his room, eyes blazing and she bit him, all logical reasoning had fled her at that moment, infact until the mention of his dad, Prem was a lot more calmer than her😆

I doubt the proof was planted by Prem, he seemed surprised, also Teja was wearing the dress she wore in the promo, so I think they take her away to prevent her from giving the proofs.
