Why are 'good friends' Narayani and Gaurav posing as a jodi in a dance show?

Narayani Shastri and Gaurav Chopraa may go blue in the face denying their special friendship, but then what are they doing in the second season of Nach Baliye? That's right! Nach Baliye 2 on Star One is going to kick off soon next month and two are one of the ten couples taking part in the dance show. While the married jodis include Manav Gohil-Shweta Kawatra, Hiten Tejwani-Gauri Pradhan, Yash Tonk-Gauri Tonk, Ketaki Dave-Rasik Dave, Sharad Kelkar-Kirti Gaekwad, Hussain Kuwajerwala-Tina, Shweta Tiwari-Raja Chowdhary, the engaged ones are Tanaaz Lall-Bakhtiyaar Irani and Arjun Punjj-Gurdeep Kohli. So where does this leave Narayani and Gaurav? Or is that this show is also taking 'just friends'?

Wazup I wouldn't agree with the term 'kicked out'. They were the 2nd pair to be eliminated. It was very unfair since they had been dancing very well and doing well in the judges's scored but they were voted out by their fellow participants. There was a huge furore about it, especially after Kunal Kohli said that it had been a wrong decision and that a better couple had been voted out. If you visit the NB2 forum, you'll find that they have a steady and loyal fan following which is not as wide as Hiten Gauri or Hussain Tina's. But it does exist and is very loyal to Narayani and Gaurav. Needless to say, I'm one of them!! Loved them from the moment they looked so sophisticated and sizzled on the dance floor on Aashiqui mein teri jaayegi jaan meri in the very first episode of NB2.
