CHAPTER - 29
[ Past ]
It was late morning and Ananya was still asleep with Akash.Slowly she woke up,pressing her head with her fingers and she slowly sat on the bed.She looked at herself and then at Akash and found everything alright except her saree being tattered.She couldn't remember anything and so she was very tensed thinking what might have happened last night.She looked at the time and found it was Akash's medicine time.She fixed her dress and then called Akash to wake up.He woke up and brushed his teeth and then said to Ananya,"Ananya Ananya aaj na tum mujhe aaloo ke paraathe bana kar khilaana mujhe bohot khaane ka mann ho raha hai."Ananya widened her eyes and asked,"Aaloo ke paraathe??Par aaloo ke paraathe khaane se Akash to mota ho jaayega na?"Akash replied,"Daadi kehti hai ke hum punjabi hai na,to hume yehi khaana suit karta hai.Tum jaldi jaao mujhe bohot zyaada bhukh lagi hai."Ananya went to the kitchen and brought food for him and then Akash said,"Tumhe pata hai aaj maine ye khaana kyu maanga??Guess karo!!"Ananya replied,"Mujhe nehi pata."He replied,"Ab tum mujhe kabhi chorkar nehi ja paaogi na isliye.Jab bhi main bohot zyaada khush hota hu tab main aaloo ke paraathe khaata hu."Ananya was confused on hearing what he just said and so she asked,"Main ab tumhe cor kar nehi jaaungi???ye kya keh rahe ho tum???Kisne kaha ye sab tumhe?"Akash then remembered about Akshay warning him not to tell that to everyone but his tongue slipped and he quickly covered his mouth.Ananya asked,"Kya hua Akash?"He uncovered his mouth and then said,"Par Akshay aur hruv ne mujhe mana kiya hai kuch bhi bataane ko,varna tum chali jaaogi."Ananya was very confused and was curious and asked,"Ye tum kya keh rahe ho Akash?Aur kisne aisa kaha hai ke main tumhe chor kar chali jaaungi?"Akash nodded his head and then said,"Main tumhe kuch bhi nehi bataaunga maine Akshay aur Dhruv se promise kiya hai na aur unhone kaha hai ke agar maine ye baate kisise keh di to tum chali jaaogi."Ananya asked,"Akash tum mujhe apna best friend maante ho na?Phir bhi tum mujhse chupaaoge?"Akash looked at her like a puppy and then Ananya said,"O to ab tum mujhe apna friend nehi samajhte ho na?Thik hai agar tumne mujhe nehi bataya na to main tumse kabhi baat nehi karungi aur sach mein chali jaaungi."The medicine had its reaction and Akash was very much scared and immediately grabbed Ananya's hand and then said,"Nei nei tum aise mat bolo,tum mat jaao.Main kaise rahunga akele agar tum chali gayi to?Nei nei please main tumhe sab bataaunga."Ananya said,"Thik hai batao."Akash replied,"Kal na Akshay aur Dhruv mere room mein aaye aur bola ke tum na bohot jald mujhe chorkar hamesha hamesha ke liye chali jaaogi aur phir kabhi waapas nehi aaogi.Main ye sunkar na bohot dar gaya par phir unhone kaha hai ke agar main thik vaisa vaisa karu jaisa vo log mujhe kahenge to phir tum mujhe chor kar kabhi nehi jaaogi."Ananya asked,"Aisa kya karne ke liye kaha unhone tumhe?"Akash described Ananya everything about what Akshay and Dhruv asked Akash to do.Hearing everything,Ananya was so shocked that her brain blocked for sometime and so she could not react properly but just could only imagine that her whole life had been damaged permanently.Akash made love to Ananya without even realizing,what actually he did to her.He asked,"Ananya tum abhi nei jaaogi na mujhe chor kar?"Ananya got up from the bed in a trance and went inside the washroom.She put on the water tape an both the shower on and then dashed under the shower and imagining how much complicated and destructed her life had become,she cried and cried her heart out.
After an hour,Ananya came out of the washroom taking bath.She went straight to Akshay and Dhruv's room while raging and already decided to teach both of them a lesson which they will never be able to forget.On seeing her,Akshay said to Dhruv,"Arey arey dekho dekho kaun aaya hai hamaare kamre mein??Arey bhabhiji padhaari hai.Dhruv chal inka swaagat kar."Ananya grinned,"Tumhaari himmat kaise hui mere saath aisa karne ki?Tum logo ne us bichaare Akash ko ye sab kya seekhaya hai?Sharam nehi aayi tumhe aisa karte huye?"Dhruv looked at Akshay and said,"Dekha bhai tune bhi kis paagal ko samjhaaya tha.Uske pet mein kuch bhi nehi pachta hai.Bata diya usne sab kuch apni pyaari si biwi ko."Ananya said,"Tum dono ne apne hi bare bhai ki is haalat ka faayda uthaaya hai.Kaise kar sakte ho aisa apne hi bhai ke saath?Us bichaare ko to pata bhi nehi hai ke usne kiya kya hai kal raat ko."Akshay grinned,"Pehli baat ke vo hamaara saga bhai nehi hai,sautela bhai hai aur is naate hume usse zara sa bhi pyar nehi hai aur naahi hamaari mom ko hai aur hamaare dad ko to apne Akash ke alava aur kuch sujhta hi nehi hai.Unhone kabhi hume apna beta nehi samjha.Vo apne bare bete ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hai,koi bhi galat kaam kar sakte hai.Tabhi to tumhe uski kiraay ki biwi bana kar le aaye aur vaise bhi..."Akshay winked at her and said,"Vo tumhaara pati hai aur pati ne agar thora sa touch kar bhi liya to kya hua?Ye to uska haq hai na?Ap pati touch nehi karega to kaun karega?Vaise bhabhiji...aapko maza to aaya hi hoga na.Kyu?"Saying both the brothers laughed in an ugly way.Dhruv said,"Arey bhai tu bhi na kaisi kaisi baate karta hai,inhe kaise pata chalega ke inke saath kya kya hua hai?Ye to tab behosh thi.Hai na bhabhiji?"Saying again they laughed.Ananya raised her hands to slap her and then Akshay grabbed her hand tight and grinned in an evil way and said,"Arey bhabhiji kya kar rahi hai aap?Apni kalaaiyo ko zara sambhaal kar rakkhiye varna mur jaayenge.Hume pata hai ke kal raat ko aap thik tarah se enjoy nehi kar paayi aur tabhi humne aapke liye ek special gift rakkha hai.Pehle vo gift dekh lijiye aur phir aap hume jitna chahe maar lijiyega hum kuch bhi nehi kahenge."He asked Dhruv to present the gift to Ananya and in reply,Dhruv showed her a video which was of Akash and her last night.Ananya was extremely shocked seeing that both of them made a video of her.Ananya at that time slapped Akshay and even on getting the slap,Akshay was laughing and said,"Abhi mujhe aapki is thappad ka bilkul bhi bura nehi laga vaise manna parega bhabhiji aap na is video mein kamala ki lag rahi hai.Agar humne ye video daal diya na to kasam se aap ek hi din mein famous ho jaayengi."Ananya yelled,"Kyu kiya tum logo ne aisa?"Akshay replied,"Yaad hai usdin hume kitna beizzat kiya tha pataakho ko lekar?Kitni tod phod ki thi hamaare kamre mein??Usi baat ka badla liya hai humne aur jo humne kiya hai us baat ka hume zara sa bhi dukh nehi hai."Ananya said,"Ek aurat ki izzat uchaal rahe ho tum dono.Tumhaari bhi to ek behen hai na?"Dhruv replied,"Oh please ghar mein ma behen and all ye saari filmi baate aap humse mat kijiyega.Abhi aap jaaiye yaha se."Ananya asked,"Aakhir tum dono chahte kya ho?"Akshay replied,"Zyada kuch nehi jabtak aap is ghar mein hai good girl bankar rahiyega aur hamaare liye koi bhi jhamela mat create kijiyega aur...aur agar aapne kisise bhi ye sab baate bataane ki koshish ki...to...ye video leak ho jaayega aur uske baad jo aapki izzat ki dhajjiya urengi vo to alag hai aur phir dad ko aapko is ghar se dhakke maar kar nikaalne mein do minute bhi nehi lagenge.Uske baad aap kabhi bhi kisiko bhi apna ye muh dikhaane laayak nehi rahengi aur tab aapke paas shaayad suicide karne ke alava aur koi option nehi bachega.Samajh gayi na?Ab jaaiye yaha se.Just get lost!!"Saying he almost pushed Ananya out of the room.
Ananya ran to Namrata's room since she knew that Namrata was the only one person to whom she could share her pain.On seeing Ananya in such a horrible condition,Namrata was really very scared and she asked,"Ananya kya hua?Tumhaari ye haalat kaise hui?"Ananya hugged Namrata and cried a lot and said,"Daadi meri puri zindagi barbaad ho gayi daadi.Main ab kahiki nehi rahi.Ab main...ab main waapas ghar kya muh lekar jaaungi?Daadi main ab kya karungi?"Namrata broke the hug and asked,"Beta kya hua ye to bata mujhe?"Ananya said,"Vo kal raat...vo raat ko...Akash ne..."She told Namrata about what Akash exactly did to her and what game had been played by Akshay and Dhruv.Namrata was completely disgusted with her two grandsons' act and she grinned,"Yakeen nehi aata hai ke ye dono mere pote hai.Ek taraf Akash hai aur ek taraf ye dono.Maanti hu ke dono ki ma alag hai par baap to ek hai.Main aaj hi Yash ko bata dungi is baare mein tu fikar mat kar."Ananya stopped her and then said,"Nehi nehi daadi aap kisiko kuch bhi mat bataaiyega kyuki unhone mujhe dhamki di hai ke vo log video viral kar denge.Maine aapko isliye bataya hai kyuki ek aap hi hai is ghar mein jo mujhe samajhti hai.Baaki hai Akash...to uspar main gussa karu bhi to kaise?Usko to is baat tak ka ehsaas nehi hai ke usne kiya kya hai mere saath?Uske liye to ye ek bachpana hai.Par Akshay aur Dhruv ne Akash ke isi maasumiyat ka,isi bholepan ka faayda uthaya hai.Mera dil to karta hai ke aaj hi is ghar se bhaag jaau phir mujhe apna vo contract yaad aata hai aur Akash jo mere bina reh hi nehi paata aur agar mujhe vo dekhega hi nehi to saara ghar sar par utha leta hai."Namrata asked,"Agar main tujhse ek baat kahu to kya tu us baat ko maanegi?"Ananya asked,"Kya?"Namrata replied,"Main jaanti hu ke tum dono ke beech jo kuch bhi hua vo galat tha par Akash hai to tera pati hi na.Shaayad bhagwaan bhi yehi chahta hai ke tum dono ek saath raho aur tum dono ka rishta hamesha ke liye jud jaaye."Ananya asked,"Aap ye kaisi baate kar rahi hai daadi?"Namrata replied,"Main jaanti hu ke shaayad tu zindagi bhar Akash ke saath na reh paaye par jabtak tu rahegi tabtak to puri adhikaar se uski patni bankar reh sakti hai na?Ek baat bata kya tu Akash se pyar nehi karti?"Ananya shrugged and Namrata smiled and replied,"Tu sahi kehti hai Akshay aur Dhruv ne jo kiya vo hum kabhi saabit nehi kar sakte hai aur naahi hamaari baato par koi yakeen karega,upar se teri video bhi uske paas hai aur main nehi chahti ke teri badnaami ho aur jab tu Akash se itna pyar karti hai to ye samajhle ke Akash ne tujhe apni biwi hone ka haq diya hai."Namrata held Ananya's hand and said,"Jitni yaadein samet sakti hai,samet le Akash ke saath,kyuki Akash ki sudharti jo ye haalat hai na usse saaf zaahir hai ke vo bohot jald bilkul thik ho jaayega.Par ek baat bataau,jisdin Akash thik ho jaayega na usdin main puri koshish karungi ke tujhe is ghar se kabhi na jaana pare."Ananya just looked on at Namrata since her head was totally jammed with the recent incidents.
CHAPTER - 30
[ Present ]
Akash returned home fully drunk and was not even able to put his steps on the ground.The driver held Akash up and then Akash said to him,"Main kabhi nehi peeta hu par na aaj peene mein bohot achcha laga.Sahi kehte hai ye sharaab har marz ki dawa hai."The driver replied,"Akash bhaiya kyu aapne sharaab pee hai?Ye bohot buri cheez hoti hai.Chaliye aap andar varna daadiji fikar kar rahi hogi."Akash laughed loudly and the driver took him inside.Yash and Namrata were very tensed since Akash went out without informing anyone and still had not returned.Namrata was shocked seeing Akash's condition since he never drinks except in parties.She asked,"Akash beta ye kya haalat bana li hai tune apni?"Yash angrily asked,"Akash kaha gaye the tum bina bataaye??Pata hai hum sab kitna pareshaan ho rahe the?"Akash went and hugged Namrata and then said to her,"Daadi I love you sooo much par ye aadmi...Ye mera baap ho hi nehi sakta hai.Ya to ye galti se mera baap bana hai ya phir main galti se aise insaan ka beta ban gaya hu."Namrata asked,"Beta ye kaisi baate kar raha hai tu?"She then asked the driver,"Kaha gaye the isko lekar?"The driver replied,"Vo daadiji Akash bhaiya ne na mujhe kaha ke kahi jaana hai aur phir waha se nikal kar vo ek bar mein jaakar bethe.Phir unhone itni pee ke vo to thik se khare bhi nehi ho pa rahe the to isiliye main zabardasti inhe ghar le aaya,vo to waapas aana bhi nehi chahte the."Namrata asked,"Beta Akash kya ho gaya hai tujhe?"Yash asked,"Bar mein jaane se pehle kaha gay the?"Namrata replied,"Yash ye sab to tu kal subhe bhi puch sakta hai na?Abhi Akash ko room mein lekar chal,iski haalat thik nehi hai."Akash kept on blabbering when Namrata and Yash took him to his room.When Akash was sleeping,he was in the room alone with Namrata and he was taking Ananya's name only in his sleep.Namrata thought,"Zarur kuch bohot bara hua hai Akash ke saath...isiliye vo aise bartaav kar raha hai.Kahi usko...kahi usko sach to pata nehi chal gaya hai na?Agar aisa hua hai to sahi mein usko bohot bara dhakka laga hai."She rubbed Akash's head lovingly.
Next day,in the morning,Akash took pain killers since his head was breaking off with pain and then got ready to go to office.Yash,on seeing him going alone in the office and that too without having his breakfast,he asked,"Akash aise bina khaana khaaye kaha ja rahe ho?Aur kal raat bina bataaye kaha gaye the?"Akash stopped.He didn't even want to see his father's face and talk to him but didn't want to confront him now and said,"Main office ja raha hu Mr Saluja.Vaise Akshay aur Dhruv kab kaha jaate hai kya karte hai,uske baare mein to aap kabhi nehi puchte hai?Phir mere waqt rules achaanak kaise badal gaye?Main bhi to aapse kabhi nehi puchta ke aap kaha jaate hai ya kya karte hai?So please treating me like a baby and rahi baat breakfast ki??Aapko to meri zindagi se hi koi fark nehi parta hai to phir khaana khaau ya phir na kahu,it shouldn't matter to you."Yash angrily asked,"Akash ye kya tareeka hua mujhse baat karne ka?"He laughed and replied,"You know what Mr Saluja aapne jo kiya hai na mere saath uske baad main aapse baat kar raha hu yehi bohot bari baat hai,varna koi aur aapki shakal tak nehi dekhta.Khair I just don't want to spoil my mood.Main chalta hu daadi."After Akash left,Suhaana whispered to Namrata,"Daadi ye bhaiya ko kya hua?"Namrata too whispered,"Pata nehi shaayad bohot kuch hua hai kal raat ko ya phir shaayad Akash ko sab pata chal gaya hai Ananya ke baare mein."Suhaana happily whispered,"Agar aisa hua na daadi tab party to banti hai aur aap na jald hi tayyari karna bhabhi aur Paakhi ke welcome ki."Namrata too was excited and said,"Ha ha main to kanse tayyar bethi hu usdin ke liye jab meri bahu aur meri parpoti is ghar mein aayegi."Both shook hands under the table.
In the office,Akash called Rahul in his cabin and then asked,"Tere passports kaha hai?"Rahul was boggled at his question and asked,"What?Passports to ghar mein hi honge?"Akash replied,"Good!!"He then made a call to someone.The convo :-
A :- "Hullo ha main Akash Saluja baat kar raha hu.I need two tickets for US immediately."
Rahul was going to drink water and he chocked on hearing what Akash had said just now.
R :- (screamed) "Tu US ja raha hai?"
A :- (kept the phone on hold)"Yes and now please wait!!"(he continued talking over the phone) "Ya aap do tickets book kijiye ek mere aur dusra Mr Rahul Singh ke naam par and yes 6 months ka visa lagwana aur passports aap mere office se collect kar lijiyega."
R :- (screamed again) "Ye sab ho kya raha hai?"
A :- (again kept the phone on hold) "Are you in or not because if you are not in Iam going alone.But jaaunga to main zarur."
R :- "Of course Iam in main tujhe akele nehi jaane dunga."
A :- "Good aur abhi ghar ja jaakar apne passports lekar aana."(over the phone)"Ha aap saara arrangement kar dijiye aur agar possible ho to mujhe kal ke hi tickets de dijiye."
He disconnected the phone.
After that Rahul said,"Kya main ye jaan sakta hu exactly tu kya karne ki koshish kar raha hai?Abhi kuch hi dino pehle to hum gaye the na US mein phir abhi achaanak phir se kyu jaana hai?You know how much work is pending here aur main contact rakhta hu har roz teri video game company ke baare mein.Its rocking!!"Akash said,"Listen ye company Mr Yash Saluja ki haiand so literally Iam not worried about it aur main waha apne personal kaam ke liye ja raha hu aur aisa bhi ho sakta hai ke hume waha saal bhar bhi rehna pare."Rahul asked,"Kaisa personal kaam?"Akash replied,"Main apni biwi aur apni beti ko waapas laane ja raha hu."Rahul screamed and got up from his seat yelling,"What??"Akash was extremely and abnormally very cool and asked,"Ananya kisi Siddhant Saluja ki nehi,meri hi biwi hai na?"Rahul was shocked since he knew that neither he had told Akash about the truth nor Suhaana or Namrata will tell and so he asked,"Tujhe???"Akash replied,"Mujhe sab sach pata chal chuka hai,par daadi ya Suhaana ne mujhe kuch nehi bataya,par main ab sach jaan chuka hu ke kis tarah se mere gharwaalo ne beizzat karke Ananya ko ghar se nikaala hai aur main ye bhi jaanta hu ke tu sab jaanta tha par mujhe nehi bataya."Rahul lowered his head and then Akash said,"Teri koi galti nehi hai Rahul,main jaanta hu tune ye sab mere liye kiya.Ek baat bata,Paakhi meri hi beti hai na?"Rahul nodded his head and then Akash said,"To hua na reason that I want to bring my wife and my daughter back into my life.Main janta hu ke Ananya shaayad maan bhi jaaye par Paakhi,usko manaane mein bohot time lagega."Rahul replied,"Isme us bachchi ki galti nehi hai,Ananya ke father aur uski bua ne milkar uske dimaag mein tere khilaaf zeher ghol kar rakkha hua hai jiske vajah se vo tujhse nafrat karti hai."Akash said,"Main yehi sab to karne ja raha hu.Pehle to mujhe apne family ki gayi galti ke liye Ananya se maafi maangni hai aur uske baad apni beti ke dil mein apne liye jagah banaani hai."Rahul said,"Ek din tu kaamyaab zarur hoga Akash mujhe tujhpar pura bharosa hai."He too nodded his head and replied,"Me too hope so."He smiled.
[ United States ]
Paakhi was sitting idly during the recess in the field.Aditya came to her and asked,"Paakhi what happened to you yaar??Main bohot dino se dekh raha hu ke you are so tensed and upset over something.Kya hai bata na?"She replied,"Ad just leave mujhe koi baat nehi karni hai.Right now!!Iam in no mood."Aditya sat beside her and said,"Ab agar tu mujhe kuch bhi nehi bataayegi to tere pet mein dard karega.So please tell me whats there in your heart."After a lot of persuation,Paakhi said,"You remember when we met Akash Saluja in the mall last time?Tujhe nehi laga ke he was behaving so weired with mom?I mean vo aise baat kar rahe the as if he doesn't even know my mom.Pehle bhi unhone aisa kiya but I didn't notice but that day I noticed and I could not stop thinking about that."Aditya asked,"Tu kehna kya chahti hai?"Paakhi replied,"See buanani said that Akash Saluja left my mom and thats what nanu too said about him.But Akash Saluja...he looked so cool while talking to my mom as if he doesn't even remember what he did to my mom.Vo to aise behave kar rahe the as if vo mom se pehli baar miley and you know Mahima aunty ki shaadi ki mshaadi mein vo baar baar dad se bol rahe the that main unki beti hu.Kya unhe mere baare mein bhi nehi pata?"Aditya said,"Oho tujhe pata hai na ke tune yaha birth liya hai so shaayad is vajah se unko ye pata bhi na ho ke tu Akash uncle ki beti hai."Paakhi said,"Ok I agree but unhone mom ko kaise nehi pehchaana?Thats not normal!!Iam sure vo na bohot bare actor hai aur isiliye mom ke saath aise behave kar rahe hai.Par...koi itni acting bhi to nehi kar sakta hai na?"Aditya said,"Dekh tujhe pata hai na ke jab bhi tu Akash uncle ke baare mein bad mouth karti hai tab Rohit uncle,Ananya bua aur Natasha bua sab tujhse kehte hai ke isme Akash uncle ki koi galti nehi hai aur Ananya bua bhi to kehti hai na ke vo tere dad ko chor kar aayi thi.Hai ki nehi?"Paakhi was confused and she asked,"Iska matlab hai ke buanani aur nanu aajtak mujhse jhut bol rahe the?"Aditya replied,"Vo mujhe nehi pata hai ke vo jhut bol rahe hai ya sach.Par tu ye sab sochna chor vo dekh class par jaane ka time ho gaya hai.Chal chal chal!"Paakhi agreed and then left with Aditya.
