CHAPTER - 3

[ 1 Month Later ]

Ananya and Akash had many silent tussels al through their flights whenever they had to fly with each other.But slowly around,though they were not friends but at least stopped those kiddish fights between them and started talking sensible.Now Rohit Mafatlal,the new and handsome and eligible bachelor CEO of INDE air arrived in Delhi to join their business and take over the charge.There was a welcome party for him where all the staffs were welcomed and Ananya,who never like parties,especially high society parties,had to go there as it would be rude if she didn't.Ananya reached the party venue all alone where she,without getting into anyones' notice took a cold drink and was sitting alone when Natasha bumped onto her.She asked,"Sitting alone?"Ananya replied,"Ya sort of."She sat with Ananya and then said,"By the way,I literally liked the way you taught Akash a lesson."Ananya was taken back and she asked,"I thought you must be mad at me,kyuki vo to tumhaara dost hai na?"Natasha replied,"Ya vo mera dost hai par iska matlab ye to nehi ke jab vo galat kare tab bhi main uska saath du.No way!!And...I like you at least after me you are the only sensible girl around Akash you know.Varna uske aas paas silly larkiya hi mandraati rehti hai and like every boys,Akash loves attention from opposite sex."Ananya said,"But you know...I thought you like him...I mean you know...Jis tarah se tum uska take care karti ho,uske baare mein usse zyaada jaanti ho."Natasha looked with shocked expressions towards Ananya and said,"What???Main aur Akash...Are you kidding me??No way!!Hum dono sirf achche dost hai nothin' else aur main chahti hu ke usko ek sensible larki miley you know...bilkul tumhaari jaisi.By the way you never know...kiski kismat mein kya likha hua hai.May be some day you and Akash...you know."Ananaya replied,"Oh no...please not Captain Akash.He is just so weired sometimes.No way!!"Natasha replied,"Don't be judgemental on him Ananya,he is a gem vo jisko apna dost manta hai na vo uske liye apni jaan bhi de sakta hai."Just then Akash stepped in between them and in a teasing tone asked,"So...Talking about me?"He looked at Natasha and said,"Tera to main samajh sakta hu ke tu mere baare mein kabhi baat nehi karegi aur agar kiya bhi to meri taarif bilkul nehi karegi but..."He looked at Ananya and asked,"Tum...tum mere baare mein kya baat kar rahi thi by the way?"Natasha replied,"Hamaare paas tere alava bhi aur bohot kuch hai baat karne laayak baate hai aur vaise bhi ye ladies ki private baate hai you don't have to know about everything.Well..."Natasha then took their leave and said,"I take your leave as Iam very interested about the new CEO and let me introduce myself to him and about you...good luck."Natasha winked at Ananya and then left from there.

Akash and Ananya sat adjacent to each other and then Akash asked,"So kya kar rahi ho?"Ananya replied,"Bore ho rahi hu."He asked,"Kyu?"Ananya replied,"I don't like parties specially high society parties,mujhe vo sab bohot boreing lagti hai.Mujhe ghar jaana hai."Akash said,"You know what ye parties nehi balki tum bohot boreing ho."Ananya replied,"I know ab aapko jo samajhna hai hai aap samjhiye main to ja rahi hu.Vaise bhi ek Natasha aur aapke alava kisine mujhe yaha notice hi nehi kiya hai so agar main chali bhi jaaungi to bhi kisiko koi fark nehi parega."Akash asked,"Aur agar kal kisine puch liya to?"She replied,"To bol dungi family emergency thi ab kaun aakar is baat ko cross check karne waala hai."Akash looked at her curiously and then asked,"Sach sach bolo Miss Rawat kahi aapka koi secret boyfriend to nehi hai na jiske saath aap private party mein jaayengi?"Ananya nodded her head in disappointment and then said,"Sab aapke jaise nehi hai Captain always surrounded by bunch of idiots except Natasha."Akash was just awestruck at her blunt expressions about him and he said,"You just never think before passing any comment about anyone.It doesn't matter to you ke saamnewaale ko kaisa lag sakta hai.Right?"Ananya smiled sarcastically and replied,"Kyu aap to aise bol rahe ho jaise aap mere baare mein kabhi gossip nehi karte ho Natasha ke saath?You know what the only difference is aap merepeeche bolte ho aur main aapke muh par bol rahi hu.Thats it!!"Akash looked at her quite in an amusing way.He said,"You know what aaj main tumhaare saamne ek cheez confess karna chahta hu ke...Iam getting amazed by you each and every day.I really like you."Ananya asked,"Kahi aap baaki larkiyo ke tarah mujhpar line maarne ki koshish to nehi kar rahe ho na?"Akash laughed and then got up.He said,"Let's go!!"She asked,"Kaha?"He gave his hand and said,"Chalo phir dikhaata hu.My favourate place."Ananya agreed and left with him.

Akash took Ananya to the terrace of his apartment building and then said,"Ye hai mera favourate place,is jagah se almost puri Delhi dikhti hai.Raat ko main aur Natasha yaha bethkar beer peete hai aur gappe laraate hai.Most of the days main yaha akele hi betha rehta hu."Ananya looked everywhere and said,"You know what its a really lovely place.I liked it so much."She sat on the end swinging her legs and Akash too sat adjacent to her.He said,"Mujhe tumhaare baare mein pata chala vo tumhaari sister hai na Shefali usine bataya tha.Vaise she mentioned how much you love flying."Ananya replied,"Flying mere liye sirf passion nehi hai ,vo meri zindagi hai aur agar kisine mujhse meri zindagi cheenne ki koshish ki na to main..."Akash raised both her hands in a manner to surrender and said,"Hold on Miss Phoolan Devi!!Main aisa kuch nehi karunga.Iam very scared of you yaar!!"Ananya laughed and asked,"Vaise aapke ghar mein kaun kaun hai?"Akash replied,"Uh main aur mera bhai Saahil,he is a doctor and he lives in Mumbai."Ananya asked,"And your parents?"He replied,"They got separated when I was too young and Saahil was a baby.Un logo ne then apne apne marzi se shaadi karli and got settled aur mujhe nehi pata vo dono kaha hai and hume hamaare dada daadi ne paala hai aur vo bhi ab is duniya mein nehi hai.So,basically,mera is duniya mein sirf mera bhai hai and recently since a few years Natasha."Ananya sadly smiled and said,"At least you know that your parents are alive."He said,"Aise zinda rehne ka kya matlab hai?For them,it was a forced relation unlogo ko azaadi mil gayi and mujhe aur mere bhai ko unpar kiye huye injustice ki sazaa mili.Later my grandparents repented for it aur isiliye unhone hum dono ko kisi ke bhi saath nehi jaane diya.Bina ma ya bina baap ke rehne se to achcha hai kisi ke bhi saath na rahe and we are cool with that."Ananya nodded her head and then said,"I didn't know that you have a sad story too."Akash said,"Is that sad???Mujhe nehi lagta.Sabki alag apni apni story hoti hai,sabke liye sad ho sakti hai par mere liye ye bilkul sad nehi hai,kyuki hume aadat ho chuki hai bina parents ke aur bina unke zabardasti ke hamare life mein indulgements ki."Ananya asked,"Akele bore nehi ho jaate aap?"Akash replied,"Abhi to kal hi shaadi to kar nehi sakta hu kyuki itni jaldi larki nehi mil sakti hai aur agar mil bhi gayi usey mere status se pyar hoga mujhse nehi.By the you too are single."Ananya replied,"Just because I want to aur mujhe shaadi hi nehi karni hai and Iam not alone mere ghar mein dher saare log hai."Just at that moment,her phone rang and she put off her phone and took her medicines.Akash said,"Main tumhe peechle ek mahine se notice kar raha hu.Tum itni saari medicines leti ho,isse to achcha hai ke tum apne is migrane ka permanently kuch karti kyu nehi?"Ananya replied,"Ye migranes na mere marne ke saath hi jaayega.Well!!Main chalti hu abhi ye jo phone baja tha na ye alarm tha mere medicines lene ke liye aur mere ghar aane ke liye.So..."She got up and picked up her purse and then said,"I take your leave and I must say,ye jagah mujhe bohot achcha laga."Akash bowed towards her and said,"Well meri jagah aur meri company har khubsurat larki ko pasand aati hai because you know...Iam so tempting!!"Ananya smiled and they came downstairs and Akash called her a taxi.At that moment,Ashok called Ananya to enquire whether she was coming home and while taking up the phone,Ananya's medicine bottle fall on the ground without her notice.After she left into the taxi,Akash's eyes fall on the medicine bottle but it was too late to call her and he picked up the bottle and said to himself,"Larki ka rumal choot jaata hai ye to dekha hai aur suna bhi hai par medicine bottle??Mmhmm!!"He thought to return it to her next day.

Next day,in the early morning there was a huge bang on Akash's door.Akash was very annoyed and woke up in a dizzy state and somehow managed to walk upto the door."Surprise!!"As soon as Akash opened the door,a man screamed and Akash too was scared and then after rubbing his eyes,when he looked at the man,he too was excited,"Saahil!!"Both the brothers hugged and Akash asked,"Tu achaanak yaha kaise?Chutti kaise mili?"Saahil replied,"Bas yuhi kaha ke tujhe heart attack aaya hai aur tu hospital mein hai to bas chutti mil gayi.Vaise bhi dean ki beti ke saath mera...you know,aadhi to usine manage karle."Akash punched on his stomach and said,"Saaley chutti ke liye tune mujhe heart attack dilwa diya.Vaise bhi tu sau saal jeeyega kyuki kal raat ko hi main tere baare mein baat kar raha tha.You know."Saahil entered inside and then asked,"Kisse?Natasha se?"Akash replied,"Nehi vo maine bataya tha na hamaari nayi aur pehli female pilot usise.Vo itni bhi buri nehi hai...you know jitna maine socha tha."Saahil whistled teasingly and then said,"Aha!!To bare bhaisaab ko vo pasand aane lagi hai.Kyu dude hot hai kya vo bohot?"Akash said,"Shut up yaar Saahil!!Aisa kuch nehi hai vo to bas vo kal party mein bore ho rahi thi main usko yaha le aaya and we had a chat and yes she is not hot."Saahil rested in his bedroom and unpacked his luggage and after that he had a shower for almost half an hour.By that time,Akash made breakfast for two of them and Saahil came by rubbing of his head and then asked,"Vaise bhai tera aaj flight to nehi hai na?"Akash replied,"Shaam ko hai vohi Ananya madam ke saath.Vaise tu bata teri love story kaisi chal rahi hai?"Saahil took his juice and said,"Yaar kya bataau itna pakaati hai,itna sar khaati hai ke main sach mein kisi din paagal ho jaaunga.Tu apni Natasha se mere liye baat kar na?Sach mein yaar bohot hot hai vo."Akash laughed and replied,"Nats tere sar par maaregi vaise sardard ka mere paas ek ilaaj hai."He gave Ananya's medicine bottle to him and then said,"Ye Ananya ka hai kal galti se gir gaya hai yaha.Usko migrane ki problem hai hamesha ye dawaai thoosti rehti hai aur ek din flight delay karwa di is medicine ke liye."Saahil smiled and replied,"She must be a jerk dude!!"Saahil started playing with the medicine bottle when suddenly his eyes fall on the name of the medicine.He stopped playing with that and checked the composition and then his expression changed.Akash noticed it and asked,"What happened dude?"Saahil,in a serious tone asked,"Bhai are you sure yehi dawaayi vo larki leti hai?"Akash gave a bite to his sandwich and replied,"Ya yehi bottle to main dekhta hu hamesha.Meri jab jab uske saath flight hoti hai na tab tab main dekhta hu ke vo ye dawaayi kamsekam 3 baar to leti hi hai aur vo bhi phone par alarm set karke.She's just crazy!!Migranes ke medicines itni baar!!"He nodded his head and then asked,"Vaise by the way tu ye sab kyu puch raha hai?"Saahil replied,"Kyuki ye medicines migranes ki hai hi nehi."Akash was about to pick up his coffee but then put it back and asked,"What???Ye migrane ki dawaayi nehi hai?Par vo jhut kyu bolegi?"Saahil replied,"Tujhe pata hai first stage mein ye medicines ek baar leni parti hai din mein aur second stage mein 4 baar.I think she is soon going to be in the second stage."Akash asked,"Kya...1^st stage and 2^nd stage???Kya bakwaas kar raha hai tu?"Saahil asked,"Bhai kya sach mein usne tujhe kuch bhi nehi bataya?"Akash,by that time was fed up of his mysterious talkings and was scared from inside and so he impatiently asked,"Saahil tu saaf saaf bataayega ke kya baat hai aur ye kis cheez ki dawaayi hai?"Saahil looked at him and then slowly said,"Ye davaayi dekh kar aur jaisa ke tune bataya hai Ananya ke dosages ke baare mein...Bhai..."Akash looked curiously at Saahil and asked,"What??"Saahil ultimately broke the news,"Ananya is suffering from Brain Tumour and very soon,she will be entering in her second stage!!"That news was a real shock for Akash and it was like thunder had broken in his head.The cup of coffee which he was holding fall from his hand,spilling the coffee and breaking the glass into pieces.
