CHAPTER - 2

In a beer bar,Akash was sitting with a bottle of beer in his hand but his attention was not towards drinking but he was thinking only about Ananya's words which she said in the airport to him.Natasha came from his back with a glass of drink and knocked on his shoulder.Akash came out of his trance and said,"Oh Nats!!"Natasha asked,"Kiske baare mein soch rahe ho dude?"Akash replied,"Nehi kuch nehi."Natasha sat beside him and said,"Pehli baat jo tumhe karna aata nehi hai vo tum mere saamne karne ki koshish mat karo please.You know na that you can't lie so why are you trying to do so?Come on just tell me the truth."Akash gave her a giving up smile and then said,"You know main tumse kabhi nehi jeet sakta hu."Natasha agreed and replied,"I know and you too know it very well abhi mujhe batao ke baat kya hai."Akash took a deep breath and told her everything.On hearing,Natasha replied,"Ananya ne bilkul sahi kaha hai pehli baat to tumne bohot hi zyaada bachkaani harkat ki hai jo tumhe suit nehi karta hai Akash.Vo ek nayi pilot aur ek nayi pilot se just apna ego satisfy karne ke liye ek senior pilot aisi ghatiya si planning karta hai.Do you think it acceptable?"Akash asked,"Aur usne jo mujhe itni saari baate sunaayi?"Natasha replied,"Vo tum deserve karte ho Akash.Usne ek bhi baat galat nehi boli hai.Kisike career ke saath khilwaad karne ka tumhe koi haq nehi hai.Uski naukri bhi ja sakti thi.Ye bhi to ho sakta hai ke uski puri family usike job pe depend karti ho.Dekho Akash usne usdin job hi kiya,according to rule vo sahi tha.Tum chutti par the aise mein tumhe saari responsibility agar vo de deti to uspar committee aur zyaada naraaz hoti and she is a trained pilot.Inde Air aise hi kisiko recruit nehi karti hai."Akash was surprised and he asked,"Tum mere saamne uski side le rahi ho?"Natasha nodded her head and replied,"No Akash,main vo bol rahi hu jo sahi hai.Tum mere best friend ho isliye agar tum galat ho to tumhaari galti tumhe dikhaana bhi mera hi farz hai aur is case mein tum galat ho."Akash said,"You know Nats,she just made me quiet with her words.Mujhe bolna laayak hi nehi chora."Natasha gave a wicked smile and then replied,"Well!!Tabhi main kehti hu ke larkiyo se panga nehi lena chahiye.I support her and admire her kyuki vo hamaari airlines ki pehli female pilot hai."Akash sarcastically chuckled and said,"Lo yaha to uske fans hi barte ja rahe hai."Natasha pulled Akash by his arm and said,"Now lets go!!Hume long drive ke liye bhi jaana hai."Akash then had to leave with Natasha.

2-3 days later,Shefali had some school project and she had to go on a school trip to another city with her friends and teachers and so Ananya and Ashok came to drop her to the airport.Shefali said to Ananya,"You know di main bohot zyada khush hoti agar main aapki flight mein bethti to."Shefali fixed her hair and said,"You don't worry ek din main tujhe apni flight mein zarur bithaaungi.Abhi ja varna late ho jaayegi."Just at that moment,Mr Sen came running to Ananya and said,"First Officer Rawat ek bohot bari problem ho gayi hai aur hume aapka help chahiye.Please hume is musibat se nikaaliye."Ananya asked,"Hold on Mr Sen!!What happened?"Mr Sen replied,"Vo hamaara ek flight Dehradun ja raha hai jiska pilot Captain Saluja hai,par achaanak se aaj subhe airport aate waqt us flight ke first officer ka accident ho gaya hai.Please aap ek flight ka hamaare upar favour kar dijiye."Ananya was surprised and asked,"Mr Sen aapko pata hai na ke main suspension par hu?"Mr Sen replied,"Ya First Officer aur hum committe se baat kar lega is baare mein.Situation bohot hi kharaab hai isliye hum aapka help chahta hai."Just at that moment,Ananya's eyes fall on Akash who was looking at her curiously.Seeing that,Ananya replied,"Sorry Mr Sen according to rule,ek suspend huye pilot ko fly karne ki permission nehi hoti hai."Saying she was about to leave,but Akash called her from back,"First Officer Rawat!!"Ananya stopped and turned on her back and found Akash standing.He walked upto her and then said,"Aap mujhe egoistic kehti hai,par aap khud kya hai?Problem aayi hai tabhi aapko request kiya ja raha hai aur aap itni akar dikha rahi hai."Ananya replied,"I must remind you captain ke main suspension par hu aur mujhe flight par jaane ki permission nehi hai ek hafte tak.Agar maine Mr Sen ki baat maan kar flight ura bhi li to kal meri naukri chali jaayegi,phir kya hoga?"Mr Sen said,"Hum committee se baat kar lega First Officer."Ashok and Shefali,who were standing there and listening to them called Ananya and then Ashok tried to explain her,"Dekh beta gussa chor de aur maan ja."Shefali asked,"Vaise di ye handsome se pilot kaun hai?"Ananya replied,"Ye Captain Akash hai jinke saath mujhe flight par nehi jaana hai."Ashok and Shefali persuaded her and Ananya accepted.

Ananya went home to get ready and in the meantime,Shefali went to talk with Akash.She called him,"Uh...Captain Akash!!"Akash looked at her and said,"Yes!!"She shook hands with him and replied,"Iam Shefali,main Ananya di ki sister hu.Iam sorry unke behaviour ke liye actually vo thore hi egoistic hai.Agar main unke jagah par hoti na to aisa kabhi nehi karti.Look at you!!You are so handsome!!"Akash smiled and replied,"Thanks for your complement!!"Shefali was stunned to see his dimples and said,"Oh my God!!Aapke to dimples bhi aate hai and they are so cute!!"Akash asked,"Vaise aap itni sweet hai par aapki didi itni kharoos kyu hai?"Shefali was a bit sad and replied,"Actually vo meri sister nehi hai.Hum sab anaath hai,Ananya dib hi hai aur vo jo hamaare saath aaye hai na,vo hamaare orphanage ke maalik hai,vaha hamaare jaise bohot saari larkiya hai aur unke liye hum saari unki betiya hai aur hum sab unhe papa bulaate hai.Di ke liye flying unki khud ki zindagi se bhi zyaada important hai.Usi ke liye to vo jeeti hai."Akash was shocked and was sad to hear about Ananya being an orphan.He was deeply remorseful on his own act which he did with Ananya.While Shefali and Akash were talking,Ananya came there fully dressed up as a pilot and then said to Shefali,"Shefu tujhe jaana hai na trip par ja teri flight ka time ho raha hai."Shefali bid bye to both Akash and Ananya and then left from there.Mr Sen brought a letter from the committee where they put off the suspension order from Ananya.While Ananya and Akash both were walking towards their aircraft,Ananya said,"You know Captain Akash,aaj aapko dekh kar mujhe ek kahaavat yaad aa rahi hai ke hum jiske liye gaddha khodte hai hum pehle usime aakar girte hai.It so suits you now!!Dekhiye na aap mujhe punish karna chahte the aur aaj aap khud hi mere saath fly kar rahe hai."Akash said,"Ya maarlo mujhe jitna taana maarna hai,I won't mind today."They entered the flight where they were welcomed by Natasha.Natasha shook hands with Ananya and said,"Today Iam so proud to fly with the first female pilot of INDE air.Welcome on board!!Aur ha..."Natasha gave Ananya a tape and said,"Koi agar zyaada dimaag khaaye na cockpit ke andar please ye tape uske muh par lagwa dena."Akash was so disgusted with Natasha's behaviour,he threw the tape on Natasha and said,"Tu laga tape,tujhe sabse zyaada zarurat hai."Ananya just smiled and then both Akash and Ananya entered inside the cockpit.

Before making the announcement,Ananya opened her purse and searched for something.On not getting that,she started searching like a mad and exclaimed,"Oh shit!!Main ye kaise laana bhul gayi??Jaldi jaldi mein dimaag se nikal gaya ye main kaise bhul sakti hu.Ye to har jagah milta bhi nehi hai.Oh God!!"Akash asked,"Kya hua kuch laana bhul gayi kya?"Ananya was acting as if she had missed her life in her home and she said,"Captain!!Please aap 5 minute ke liye take off delay kar dijiye,main ek bohot important cheez laana bhul gayi."Akash asked,"What??Are you nuts??Tumhaari kisi stupid si cheez ke liye main flight delay kardu.Tumhaara dimaag to thik hai na?"Ananya pleaded,"Vo cheez mere liye meri jaan se bhi zyaada important hai captain,I need just 5 minutes mujhe yehi kahi par mil jaayega."Before Akash could freak out,Ananya left from there almost running and really within 5 minutes she returned.Akash,in a sarcastic tone said,"Wow!!You are so punctual!!You know what is tarah se captain ki baat ko disobey karke 5 minute tak ek puri flight ko rok kar rakhna is highly unreasonale and highly unprofessional."Ananya apologized,"Iam sorry captain!!"Akash was stunned on hearing an apology from Ananya and he asked,"What?Mujhe thik se sunaai nehi diya.Phr se bolna?"Ananya replied,"I said Iam sorry captain.Kya abhi hum take off kar sakte hai?"Akash nodded his head and then they took off the plane.While in mid-air,Akash asked,"Vaise tum itne paagalo ki tarah kis cheez ke liye bhaagi thi?"Ananya replied,"Meri important cheez thi jo main bhul gayi thi.Its...personal!!"Akash shook his shoulder and then Ananya took out a bottle of medicine from her bag and then had her medicine.He asked,"Tumhe koi bimaari hai kya?Kis cheez ke medicines hai ye?"She replied,"Vo...mujhe migranes ke pain hote hai frequently so I had to take medicines,aaj subhe lena bhul gayi thi."Akash looked at her very suspiciously and then said,"You know First Officer kabhi kabhi mujhe tumpar shaq hota hai ke tumhaara koi bohot bara secret hai jo tum kisipar zaahir nehi hone dena chahti ho.Is that so?"Ananya gave a hopeless look to Akash and then concentrated on flying.
