CHAPTER - 1

Ananya was walking out of the airport with her luggage when Akash stopped her and she turned towards him.When he walked upto her,she asked,"Yes Captain?"Akash smiled and replied,"Well aaj to tum bohot khush ho rahi hogi na?I mean naya recruit hone ke baad hi apne pehle flight mein ek senior ko neecha dikha diya.You know...ego satisfy ho gaya hoga na tumhaara?"Ananya was confused and she looked at him with surprise and asked,"Excuse me!!What do you mean captain?"Akash sarcastically smiled and mocked,"Ab tum itni bhi bholi nehi ho ke main kya keh raha hu vo tumhe samajhme nehi aa raha hai.Jis tarah tumne meeting mein mujhse baat ki,it shows ke tum apne aap ko pata nehi kya samajhti ho.Tumhe kya lagta hai aaj ki is harkat ko main bhul jaaunga?No Miss Rawat!!Iam never gonna forget it!!Tumne aaj meri jis tarah se beizzati ki hai na utni beizzati to choro,khud authority bhi mujhse is lihaaz mein kabhi baat nehi karti hai.Nayi nayi yaha aayi ho aur itna tevar?"Ananya said,"Captain maine bas apni baat rakkhi hai.Aap us flight mein passenger the aur rule ke mutaabik chutti par gaye huye pilot ko kisi bhi situation mein flight ka command nehi saupa ja sakta hai kamsekam jabtak co - pilot ki razamandi na ho.Iam shocked aap itne puraane pilot ho aur mujhe aapko rule samjhaana par raha hai."Akash raised his finger on her face and said,"Mujhe rule seekhaane ki tum koshish bhi mat karna Miss Rawat.Aaj jo tumne kiya hai uski sazaa to tumhe zarur milegi and I'll make sure that you get it."He gave an evil smile and said,"Welcome to hell Miss Rawat and I'll try my level best to make you enjoy here."Ananya asked,"Aapko aur kuch kehna hai captain?"Akash was shocked seeing the audacity of Ananya.She looked at the time and said,"Meri life vaise bhi kisi hell se kam nehi hai aur isse zyaada hell mujhe koi nehi dikha sakta hai.Vaise agar aapko kuch aur nehi kehna ho to I take your leave...Sir!!"Saying she pushed his bag and left the airport.When she left,Natasha came from behind.Natasha and Akash were best college buddies and both share everything with each other.She asked,"Kya bol rahi thi vo?"Akash replied,"Kuch nehi madam ke par kuch zyaada hi lambe hai,usey katarne ka intezaam karna hoga."Natasha put her hand on his shoulder and said,"Relax Akash!!Vo just ek rookie pilot hai aur kuch nehi.Vo kya bigaar legi tumhaara?Just stop thinking about her."Akash grinned looking at Natasha,"No I can't Natasha!!She dared to insult Akash Saluja and she has to pay for it anyhow."Natasha raised both her hands in a manner to surrender and said,"Ok ok!!Par abhi chalo yaha se."Akash cooled down and left from there.

Ananya was very upset about the day's incident especially because it was her first flight.A girl of almost 15-16 years of age came running to her excitedly.Her name was Shefali and she was another boarder of the orphanage.She said to Ananya,"Pata hai di flight aapki thi aur tension ke maare main mari ja rahi thi ke pata nehi aapki flight kaisi rahi hogi."Ananya gave an annoying look to Shefali and then said,"Shefu tu ja yaha se aaj mera mood bohot kharaab hai."Shefali came more close to her and then asked,"Kya hua di aap bohot pareshaan lag rahi ho?Kuch hua hai kya?"Ananya said,"Shefu please!!"Just then Ashok arrived in the attire of a chef and with a dish of food and forwarded it to Ananya and then asked,"Kha kar bata kaisa bana hai?"Ashok,though was a doctor but was also a cook by heart.Shefali replied,"Taste karne ki kya zarurat hai?It will be awesome as usual."Ashok said,"Main jaanta hu par phir bhi main chahta hu ke ye jo naya dish banaya hai vo meri Ananya ek baar taste karke dekhe.Dekh na beta."Ananya replied,"Mera mood nehi ho raha hai papa please na!!"Ashok said,"Arey ek baar chakh kar to dekh phir tera mood kaise achcha hota hai."Ananya gave a fed-up look to Ashok and then tasted the dish and said,"Achcha bana hai."Ashok made a face and asked,"Sirf achcha bana hai?Pehle to tu kitna excited hoti thi?"Shefali replied,"Papa di is upset pata nehi kya hua hai,main tabse puche ja rahi hu par ye hai ke bataati hi nehi hai."All the girls of the orphanage used to called Ashok papa' because he is just like a father to them and also because Ashok loves daughters and since he was unmarried so he regarded all the boarders as his daughters.Ashok was a bit surprised and asked,"Ananya upset hai?Kya hua?"Ananya replied,"Kuch nehi papa.Ye Shefu to bas aise hi."Ashok said to her,"Ananya beta bata bhi de ke kya hua hai.Abhi tu mujhse to baate mat chupaana."Ananya at last told them everything whatever happened with her and then said,"Pata nehi ye Captain Akash apne aap ko samajhte kya hai?Maine to bas vohi kiya hai jo rules ke mutaabik hai aur agar aaj vo us flight mein na hote to,tab to mujhe akele hi sambhaalna parta na.Ye simple si baat pata nehi in egoistic mardo ko samajhme kyu nehi aati hai.Captain ban gaye hai to kya vo bhagwaan ban gaye hai kya?"Ashok nodded his head and then smiled and then replied,"Maine to tujhe pehle hi kaha tha beta ke tu jaha ja rahi hai,vo basically mardo ki duniya hi hai aur mardo ki duniya aurto ke liye asaan nehi hoti hai."Ananya said,"Par papa achche aur bure to sabme hote hai par ye aadmi ye to literally mujhse badla lega aisi dhamki di hai mujhe.I just hope ke zindagi mein mujhe kabhi bhi is aadmi ke saath fly na karna pare."Shefali was so excited that she said,"Pehle hi jhagre se shuruwaat!!I must say di there will be a chemistry between you two kyuki itihaas gavah hai jo rishta jhagre se shuru hota hai at last vo pyar pe khatam hota hai."Ananya slapped Shefali on her head and said,"Ja jaakar paraai kar.Bakwaas baate na kiya kar samjhi."Ashok said,"Beta ye saari ragging to tujhe thori jhelni hi paregi.Iska kuch nehi kar sakte hai."Ananya nodded her head and then said,"Ya right!!But I just hope that mujhe kabhi us aadmi ke saath fly na karna pare."She gave a deep sigh.

Few days later,Ananya had a flight in the morning but when she was just about to go out,she was informed that the flight was postponed due to technical default.So Ananya left home according to the next scheduled time.When she reached the airport and entered the pilot's dispatch room,everyone were staring at her.She was feeling very awkward and then one pilot said,"Nayi nayi aayi ho aur aate hi itne tevar aa gaye hai tumme?Strange!!"A confused Ananya asked,"Sorry main kuch samjhi nehi?"The pilot replied,"Mr Sen abhi aakar tumhe sab samjhaayenge."At that moment,Mr Sen arrived and said to Ananya,"First Officer Ananya Rawat,chaliye committee meeting mein aapko bulaaya gaya hai."Ananya was hell shocked and asked,"Committee meeting???Par mujhe kyu bulaaya hai maine kya kiya hai?"Mr Sen replied,"Aap kaisa baat kar raha hai First Officer???Aaj aaphine to bina pehle se chutti ke liye apply kiye achaanak se inform kiya ke aap fly nehi kar sakti hai."Ananya remained open mouthed and said,"Maine aisa kiya??Mujhe khud phone aaya tha ke meri flight delayed hai aur isiliye main late aayi hu."Mr Sen replied,"Aisa kuch nehi hai,koi flight delayed nehi thi,aapne hume inform kiya at the nick of the time ke aap nehi aa sakti hai aur aapka aisa irresponsible harkat se committee aap par bohot gussa hai."Ananya was really very annoyed,upset and shocked over the incidents and suddenly her eyes fall on Akash and Natasha.Akash gave awicked smile to Ananya showing his cup of coffee to her and Ananya immediately understood that all this was a trick just to hackle her and it was done by Akash himself,but she didnot react to it and left from there.

Ananya presented before the committee meeting and gave her own statements but the committee didn't believe her.The head asked,"Aapko kya lagta hai first officer aapki is baat par hum yakeen kar lenge?In fact ye number exist hi nehi karta hai."Ananya replied,"I know sir galti meri hai,mujhe is baat ko re-confirm kar lena chahiye tha.Well mere paas apni baat ko saabit karne ka koi bhi proof nehi hai,so main koi explanation nehi dungi.Aap jo bhi decision lenge mujhe vo manzur hoga."The committee took the decision that since Ananya had no proof of her innocence and she performed a real irresponsible job so they sentenced her a one week suspension.Ananya just grinned from inside but she accepted the decision and took their leave.When Ananya came out of the meeting,Mr Sen said to her,"Humko bohot bura lag raha hai aapka liye Miss Rawat aap...""Don't worry Mr Sen..."Ananya replied back with a smile,"Life mein kuch experiences hoti hai aur honi bhi chahiye kyuki aagey chalkar yehi aapki madat karti hai.Mere papa kehte hai thori si ragging sab jagah par hi jhelni parti hai.Thanks for your concern."She was aabout to leave when she was stopped by Akash.He came to her and said,"To suspension mil gayi??Career ke shuruwaat mein hi suspension...Mmm...Not a good thing.Ye bohot dangerous hai First Officer."He then grinned,"Kaha tha na mujhse panga lene ki tumhe bohot bhaari keemat chukaani paregi.Ab main tumhe bataata hu,sab kuch maine hi kiya hai,vo tumhe phone karke misguide bhi maine hi kiya hai aur committee ko bhi tumhaare baare mein jhut maine hi bola hai.Aaj insult nehi karogi mera?"Ananya was just looking straight towards him without having any expressions on her face and seeing that Akash said,"Oho bohot rona aa raha hai??Gussa aa raha hai?Rona aa raha hai na to apne ghar mein jaakar ro lena pillow mein apna muh chupakar.Have nice 7 days!!Bye!!"Saying he again gave a wicked smile and started leaving when Ananya called him.Akash stopped and turned towards her and Ananya pressed one button on her phone and Akash's voice was heard where Akash had just committed his crime.Akash was stunned and was boggled and Ananya walked upto him and said,"Agar main chahu to abhi aur isiwaqt ye recording committee jaha aapne khud apni hi awaaz mein apne crimes qubool kiye hai,but you know...main aisa kuch nehi karungi."Ananya deleted the recording and then said to Akash,"You know Captain confident hona achchi baat hoti hai,par over confidence bohot gandi baat hai,dekhiye abhi aapne over confidence mein kya kar liya.You were right Captain mujhe gussa bohot aaya tha aap par,kyuki mujhe aapki shakal dekh kar hi samajh mein aa gaya tha ke aaphine ye sab kiya hai.Par mere papa kehte hai ke kabhi kabhi agar apne gusse ko hajam kar liya jaaye to iska matlab hota hai ke aapka self confidence bohot strong hota hai aur abhi aapne kya kaha??Insult???"Ananya laughed sarcastically and then said,"Ek senior pilot ko meri jaisi abhi abhi aayi hui ek rookie pilot se itna dar lag gaya ke mujhe hackle karne ke liye aapko ek teenager cheap trick ka sahaara lena para hai.Aapne aisa karke mujhe nehi un bohot saare passengers ko pareshaani mein daala hai jo hamaare airlines se travel kar rahe the,par aapne apni ego ke aagey ye sab nehi socha aur sirf mujhse badla lene ke liye ek pilot ne itna ghatiya trick plan kiya.In sab ke baad kya mujhe alag se aapki insult karne ki zarurat hai captain??I don't think so.Meri baato par gaur zarur kariyega captain."Akash was looking blank towards her as he never thought that Ananya would record his confession so smartly.She was about to leave but she stopped and again and said,"Aur ek baat,aaj agar meri naukri chali jaati,to mujhe kisi aur airlines mein job mil jaati thats not a very big deal for me aur rahi baat mere suspension ki well...main ye samajh lungi ke main chutti par hu aur kahi par bhi vacation manaane chali jaaungi.But thanks to you kyuki aaj aapke vajah se maine ye seekha hai ke aise situations par hamesha cross check kar lena chahiye.Khair...Have a nice day captain!!Bye!!"Ananya put on her cap and then left from there and Akash's condition was measurable since,in his whole career,he didn't have to face such humiliation from anyone especially from a junior like Ananya.
