CHAPTER - 11

One day,Ananya was busy in her work in the shop when an old man came to her shop.She greeted him as usual and asked,"May I help you sir?What do you want?"The old man,insted of saying what he wanted,held her hand and asked,"Aapko kya chahiye pehle ye to bataiye?"Ananya,with an awkward smiled removed her hand from his grip and said,"Ji sir...main kuch samjhi nehi."The old man said,"Ji aapke husn ne hume aise deewana banaya hai ke din raat bas aaphike khayaalo mein hum khoye rehte hai.Hume na khaane ka hosh rehta hai aur naahi peene ka.Na din mein chain milta hai aur na raato mein araam."Ananya was feeling very bad since a man almost of her grandfather's age was talking with her like that.She angrily asked,"Ye kya badtameezi hai?Ye kaisi baate kar rahe hai aap?Aapko sharam nehi aati,apni poti ki umar ki larki ke saath aisi baate karte huye?"The man laughed in a very ugly way and replied,"Sharam???Sharam lihaaz to hum apne ghar mein chor aaye hai.Pyar ke liye koi umar nehi hoti hai.Bhale hi hamaare baal safed ho gaye ho par dil abhi bhi jawaan hai."Ananya closed her eyes out of extreme anger and then grinned,"Abhi ke abhi aap bahaar nikliye varna main chillaungi aur logo se aapki dhulaai karwaaungi."The man looked very worried and stammered,"Arey arey nehi nehi...aap to gussa ho gayi.Achcha chaliye,hume na violin dikha dijiye,usme hum aapke liye naye naye dhun banaayenge..."He forwarded his face more close to her and said,"Vo kya kehte hai...ha...romantic tune."Ananya gave a threatening look to the man and entered inside to fetch some violins for him.

Just the moment,when Ananya was selecting some violins,the old man,with a tip-toed movement came from behind and reached upto her.He suddenly hugged her from the back and Ananya suddenly was shocked at this and out of shocked she screamed.The man said,"Ab to aayi hai na aap hamaari baaho mein.Ab to hum aapko nehi chorenge."Suddenly,Ananya's attitude changed and she,very casually said,"Mat choriye.Hum bhi aapko kaha chorna chahte hai."The man was a bit taken back at Ananya's sudden change of attitude.He released her from his grip and looked widely towards her.Ananya turned towards him and then wrapped her arms around him and said,"Bataiye na shaadi ke baare mein aapka kya khayal hai?"The man confusingly asked,"Par abhi to aap keh rahi thi ke..."She put her finger on his lips and said,"Uswaqt jo kaha vo bhul jaaiye,abhi jo kaha uske baare mein sochiye."He now smiled awkwardly and said,"Aap to bohot fast forward hai..."Ananya replied,"Abhi aapne fast forwardness dekha hi kaha hai.Abhi to aur bhi bohot kuch dekhna baaki hai..."Saying she started bringing her face very close to the man and suddenly,making the man scream,Ananya,pulled his beard and moustache.The man covered his face with his hands,since that was burning a lot and Ananya was happily playing with the man's grey beared and moustache.The man turned out to be none other than Akash.He screamed,"Aise itni zor se koi kheechta hai kya?"Ananya replied,"To main kya karti,isey utaarna to tha hi na."After getting a bit ease from the burning sensation,the very obvious question stuck his mind and he asked that,"Tumhe kaise pata ke ye main hi tha?"Ananya replied,"Very simple!!Tumne jab mera haath pakra tha main tab hi samajh gayi thi,tumhaare touch se jisey main both achche se pehchaanti hu.Main to tumhe sau logo ke bher mein se bhi nikaal sakti hu."Akash smiled and asked,"Achcha???Itne achche se pehchaanti ho mujhe?"She too replied,"Of course apne aap se bhi zyaada achche se pehchaanti hu main tumhe."Akash then came towards her and brought her more closer to him by pulling her by her waist and in a husky tone said,"Shaadi ke baare mein to khayaal achche hi hai par filhaal aapka ek...kiss ke baare mein kya khayaal hai?"Ananya covered his mouth and said,"Koi khayal nehi hai.Ye public place hai Akash aur vaise bhi sethji kabhi bhi aa jaayenge.Abhi tum jaao yaha se."Just at that moment,they heard someone coming.On going to the counter table,Akash was shocked to find Roshni arrived with the lunch.He asked,"Roshni???Ye yaha kya kar rahi hai??Isey to abhi school mein hona chahiye tha na?"Ananya and Roshni both became sad on hearing this.Ananya said,"Vo jab tum yaha se gaye na uske baad waale din hi sethji ne Roshni ka school churwa diya aur usey yaha waapas lekar aa gaye."Akash became very angry on hearing that and he said,"Tumhaare sethji ne to aaj hadh hi paar kar di hai.Aane do aaj usko yaha.Aaj usko aisa sabak sikhaaunga na ke vo saala zindagi bhar yaad rakkhega."Ananya asked,"Kya karoge tum?"He replied,"Just wait and watch!!"He then kept waiting for the owner of the shop.

After sometime,the owner arrived.On seeing Akash asked,"Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho??Tumne to naukri chor di thi na?"Akash nodded his head and replied,"Ha vo to chor diya tha,par yaha aaj main kisi aur maksad se aaya hu."Sethji asked,"Kaisa maksad?"He said,"Ananya aur Roshni aaj se yaha kaam nehi karengi aur aap unse unki marzi ke khilaaf kaam nehi karwa sakte hai."Sethji scanned him from top to bottom and asked,"Tu rokega mujhe??Tu hota kaun hai?"Akash asked,"Tum hote kaun ho inse kaam karwaane waale?"Sethji said,"In logone mujhse 10 laakh rupiye liye the jo aajtak ye log lauta nehi pa rahe hai,isliye ye dono yaha kaam kar rahi hai mera paisa chukaane ke liye."Akash asked,"Agar ye paisa main chuka du to tab to tumhe inki zarurat nehi paregi na?"Sethji gave a mocking smile to Akash and then looked at both Ananya and Roshni and said,"Kyu be teri rishtedaar lagti hai ye dono?"Akash just didn't reply but kept on staring at him.He said,"Ye mere yaha kaam karengi aur tabtak karengi jabtak mujhe mere purey paise waapas nehi mil jaate aur tune agar zyaada bech mein apni naak ghuserne ki koshish ki na...to police se teri aisi pitaai karwaaunga ke tu zindagi bhar yaad rakkhega."Akash raised his brows and said,"Achcha???Thik hai bula police ko,main bhi dekhta hu ke police teri kitni bari chamchi hai."Sethji took out his mobile and said,"Lagta hai tu aise nehi maanega.Ab to police ko bulaana hi paega."He dialled the number to call the police.Ananya was very scared to see all this and so she told Akash,"Akash please ye sab mat karo.Main nehi chahti hu ke tum hamaari vajah se kisi bhi musibat mein paro."Akash patted on her hand and replied,"Mujhpar bharosa rakkho Ananya.Aaj main is kisse ko hi khatam kar dunga."He then looked at the the man.

Within a few minutes,the police arrived and asked,"Kisne phone kiya tha hume?"On seeing the police,Roshni hid behind Ananya.Sethji replied,"Ji maine phone kiya hai aapko."The police enquired about the matter and sethji told them about the scene.The police gave a grudgy look to Akash and asked,"To aap hai Mr Akash Saluja?"Akash nodded his head and replied,"Kaha kaam karte hai aap?"He replied,"Saluja Constructions."The officer squeezed his brows and asked,"Akash Saluja???Saluja Constructions???Aap kya Saluja Constructions ke chairman Mr Akash Saluja hai?"Akash just smiled and nodded his head.The officer shook hands with him.The owner by that time had understood that Akash was a very rich man,but still he didn't want to give up and so he said to the police officer,"Par sahaab mere saath jo hus vo to galat hua hai na."Akash said,"Inspector sahaab,ye aadmi,inse jabran kaam karwa raha hai aur inke kaam ke mutaabik inhe salary bhi achchi nehi milti hai.To aise mein agar loan ke paise mitaane huye to usme to puri zindagi nikal jaayegi."The inspector enquired about the salary and then the sethji said,"Main agar inse apna loan clear karwaane ke liye kaam karwa raha hu to aise mein inko problem kaha hai?"Akash replied,"Maine bhi inko abhi abhi kaha hai ke main inka saara paisa clear kar ne ko tayyar hu phir bhi ye kyu nehi maan rahe hai.Inko paise se hi to matlab hai na?"Sethji replied,"Main beimaani ka dhanda nehi karta hu.Main kaayde se apna business chalaana chahta hu.Inspector sahaab aap inse kahiye yaha se jaane ko."Akash laughed aloud and said,"Aap kaayde ki baat kar rahe hai???Achcha!!Ek minute!!"Akash then turned towards Roshni and then asked,"Roshni tumhaari age kitni hai beta?"Roshni looked at everyone and then,in a terrified voice replied,"12 saal!!"Akash then turned towards the police officer and then said,"Ye dekhiye officer ek 12 saal ki bachchi ko school bhejne ke bajaay kaam karwaaya ja raha hai.Kanoon ke mutaabik 14 saal ke neeche umr ke bachcho se agar kaam karwaya jay to vo gairkanooni hai.To aapko nehi lagta hai ke aapko inhe arrest kar lena chahiye?"The owner was terrified on hearing that and the officer asked the constable to arrest the owner.The owner pleaded a lot and cried out to be released.Ananya signalled Akash to ask them to release the owner.Akash then said,"Inspector sahaab dekhiye inhone ek waqt par inke orphanage ko paise dekar bohot madat ki thi to mujhe lagta hai ke inhe ek aur mauka to milna hi chahiye na."He called his lawyer with a certain document and asked him to come to the mall.Within a few minutes,the lawyer arrived and then gave the document to Akash.He,in turn gave the document to the owner and said,"Ye lo is document par sign kardo.Iske mutaabik,aapko aapke saare paise aaj aur isiwaqt mil jaayenge aur iske baad aap us orphanage mein rehne waale kisi bhi boarder ko pareshaan nehi karenge."The owner,obediently without even reading the document,signed it and Akash gave him a check and then said to the officer,"Thank you officer!!Aapne aaj meri bohot bari madat ki hai."The police left from there and then Akash said to the owner,"Ab jitney dino se Ananya aur Roshni yaha kaam kar chuki hai uski puri salary abhi ke abhi yaha waapas do usey."The owner immediately gave them their salary and Akash left from there alongwith Ananya and Roshni.

Akash took them to the orphanage and straight forward went to Aarti's room.Aarti was boggled to see Ananya and Akash together.She asked,"Tum dono yaha?"Without any drama,Akash,in a straight forward manner,said,"Aarti ma main aapse yaha ye kehne aaya hu ke..."He looked at Ananya and said,"Main Ananya se shaadi karna chahta hu aur aaj se balki abhi se is orphanage ki saari responsibilities meri hogi.Yaha ki har bachchiya school jaayegi aur har kisiko puri education milegi,ye mera waada hai."Aarti became very happy on hearing that.Both took her blessings and Aarti too said to Akash,"Ye dudh peeti bachchi thi jab isko koi yaha chorkar gaya tha.Beti hai meri ye.Iska pura khayaal rakhna."Akash nodded his head and Ananya blushed.
