Yes he loves & cares for ananya and wanted to keep her safe. But akash knows why he join indeair from the first place. Use pahele se pata tha ki uski life denger mai ho sakti hai , our jab wo Ab apni emotionance control kar raha hai to pahele kyo nahi ki. actually if we go for a character analysis nah then we can see that :

1) ananya was always a reserved shy girl.

2) Akash always went after Ananya, remember always asking her for dinner, trying to be with her...

gave explanations for Natasha as his best friend, even the "dil ki baat" when he saved her from the kidnapping case

In my eyes Akash did gave Ananya some wrong signals and he went so much after her, that she opened herself and her heart for him

it's sad that now Akash is thinking that he made a mistake and going away from her, but what about her? poor girl she doesnt even understand a thing what is going around, her face was so full of pain when one saw her shocked at Akash aloofness and keeping distance

i understand that Akash's mission must take priority but he should have realised it before nah, and even his boss so many times rebuked him for his closeness with Ananya... he let himself be carried with his feelings, and now it's Ananya who's going to be heartbroken because she doesnt know anything!

it was a very sad episode overall and now that Akash's cover has been blown, i guess he's no longer safe nor will really be of any use in Inde Airlines...

Well No offence ...Ananya is not at fault at all But Aakash was also not forcing Her to Be with him ... He was not romanig Around her all the time and Telling her to love him ... His Gesture Should Called as over friendly than Calling it "Wrong Signal " ... & More of Situation was at fault ,They have faced So many difficult Situation together & everytime Stuck together where Aakash Have to save her ...& Now She is thinking him as her Knight& Shining Armour & FOR those Dates & Dinner Ananya can Easily say NO (He was not Forcing Her ),BUT She also got Carried away with her FRIENDLY feeling for Him , & At this time Again the Situation is very dufficult for Both & Aakash nither move ahead nor Stay back ...
