Chapter 8
1st Jan, morning, 1 pm-
Breaking news... Four men entered Burj khalifa fully armed. The mastermind is caught and is said to be an Indian. The police is investigating as to how this happened and why. This is the first time a security breached has taken place.
"NOOO!!! How did this happen?!?!? That idiot can't do anything right." He smashed the glass on the floor. "Revenge shall be mine, Akash Sajula." *muhahahahaha*
The whole Day went in investigations and interviews. Ananya came back and slept like a baby.
2nd jan-
Ananya got up and went to the hospital straight to see Akash.
"How are you feeling now?"
"Fine but better after seeing you."
*blushing*
"Anyways, I have to go to do some last minute shopping."
"Why?!?"
"What do you mean by why?"
"Why do women loving last minute shopping!"
"That's our nature. Get used to it. Anyways, I have to go. Bye"
"Bye, darling." *wink*
Ananya hits Akash sarcastically.
Ananya, Seifu, Megha and Natasha went to Bur Dubai and DCC mall to do last minute shopping. They ended up spending 700 Dhs in this process. Whereas, Rohit was buying something really special.
3rd jan-
Akash was discharged out of the hospital at 14:00 pm after the doctor told him to have his medicine on time and that he was safe for flying back and gave him the certificate. They were going back to the hotel.
"Let's go Natasha."
"Yep."
"Natasha, a little birdie told me that something is going on between you and Rohit..."
"Yeah, we dating..."
"So, when is the marriage?"
"Akash..."*laughs*
16:00 pm-
Akash reached his hotel room and saw a huge mess.
"What the hell is happening here?!?!"
"I'm just packing your stuff."
"But why?"
"You forgot? We are going back in 5 hrs."
"Well, if you have a sexy and a hot woman in front of you, anyone would forget."
"Akash!!!"
Ananya was running behind Akash and both of them fell on the bed.
"My rulebook."
*Ananya blushing*
And they hugged.
"Dear are you all right? I heard about the incident!!" asked Rathore 's wife, Hema.
"Yes, I'm fine. Nothing happened to me..."
"But what happened? I saw the news and I was left in a shock. I was afraid that something might have happened to you."
"Even I don't know. And can something happen to me? Who will take care of pretty wife then?"
"Oh stop Vikas..." *blushing*
"I'll be back today, so don't worry."
"And I'll make your favourite dinner."
"Okay, bye dear. Muwaaa"
"Vikas... Bye."*laughs*
Pashant was in his room holding Mahima's picture and was hugging it.
"You always wanted to visit Dubai and when we finally came here, your not here."*sniff*
17:00 PM
The bus was waiting for them.
The girls sat to together and the boys sat together.
18:00 PM
They reached the airport and finished their bag check and security check pretty fast since they were staff.
Ananya, Akash, Megha, Seifu and Rohit reached the gate.
"Welcome to Dubai International Airport, Mr. Rohit."
"Oh what a pleasant surprise, Mr. Paul."
It was Paul Griffin, the CEO of the airport.
"Hello, Ananya and Akash."
"Sir, how do you know us?" asked Ananya.
"I have heard a lot about your brave stories."
"Thank you, Sir."
"Say, Rohit, why don't you join me in the first class lounge?"
"Sure."
"Let's go then. This way."
"See you guys later."
And he went with the CEO.
"Well, both the CEOs went. How what?"
"Dee, we are going to shop!!!" said Megha and Siefu.
"Okay, be back in half an hour."
"Okay, Dee."
"And what about you, mister?"
"Well..."
"I'm gonna read a book. Maybe you should read one too."
"Me? Reading a book? Nahhh!! I'll go check out the pilots room."
"Okay, don't get lost."
6:50 pm-
"So happy and sad to go back home." said Suhaina
"I know. I'll miss this place but I'm gonna go home and sleep the whole day." said Natasha.
"A lot to clean!" both said it together.
"Now girls, let the cleaners clean and both go check if the necessary items are there."
"Yes Ma'am..."
"So happy that they are here." said Natasha.
"Mee too!"
Everything was in place except one fire extinguisher was missing.
"Ma'am, a fire extinguisher is missing." said Natasha
"I'll get one ordered. Harry, get one fire extinguisher."
"Okay, Sam."
He bought it and kept in its position. Everything was now fine.
"My work here is done. Bye girls, see u soon."
"Bye..." both said together.
Rathore and Prashant had just finished the flight path review and were now going to the cockpit.
"Welcome First officer and Capt. Capt. shall get the regular?" asked Natasha.
"Yes Natasha"
They went through the checklist and the paperwork.
"Capt, here is your coffee."
"Thanx Natasha."
All the passengers and their baggage was on board.
"Come in ATC. This is Capt Rathore speaking from flight IDA 519 to DEL. We have 129 passengers and 4 crew members. Please grant us the permission to take off Over."
"Please wait for a minute. Over"
After a minute or so.
"IDA 519, take off permission granted. Runway 23, Northern runway.
Thank you, over and out."
"Cabin crew, prepare for take off"

The pushback was on time and the plane took off the tarmac safely. In 5 mins, it was in air.
Ananya, Akash, Rohit, Sheifali and Megha were in the first class.
Sheifu and Megha were sleeping as they were tried after walking the whole terminal.
Rohit was thinking about the plan.
"Ananya, still reading?"
"..."
"ANANYA!!!!"
"WHAT?!?!?"
"You are lost in that book. Is that book like fifty shades of grey?"
"I don't read such books Akash!!"
"Sorry..."
"Akash, what would you like to have?" asked Natasha.
"Well for now... Lets say that I want the wedding card... I guess."
Suhaina was laughing on the other side of the trolley.
"Akash!!!"
"Okay, can I have the coke?"
"No ain't getting any!"
"Not fair!!"
"Ananya, want do you want?"
"Mango juice please."
"Here you go."
"Thanx!"
"Rohit, want do you want?"

"Natasha, we are 35,000 feet above in the sky. And I was wondering... You know... If you would marry me... I'm not so good at this..."

He puts the ring into her finger and hugs her.

Rohit dressed up as cabin crew and helped Natasha and Suhaina in the flight.
"Isn't that sweet?" said Ananya.
"Well, it is but don't expect this from me..." said Akash
"I know. You will do a more unique way, ryt Akash?"
"Dream on, rule book..." *wink*

9:30 pm
"ATC. This is First officer Prashant speaking from flight IDA 519. Requesting for the permission to land. I repeat requesting for the permission to land."
"Permission granted. Runway 22."
"Thank you. Over and out."

They landed safely on the tarmac.
The bridge was connected to the aircraft and people left the aircraft.
They finished the emigration fast and their baggage from the belt.
"Let's go home. I'll drop you Natasha." said Rohit
"okay"
"Suhaina, I'll drop you home and you also idiot." said Rathore.
"Okay sir." said Suhaina
"Sir!!!"said Prashant
Sheifu and Megha were with Ananya.
"How are you going, Ananya?" asked Akash
"Taxi."
"No need... I'll drop all three of you home."
"Okay Akash."
11:15 pm
"Bye Akash and Megha. Good night."
"Bye Megha and Akash bhaiya!!!"
"Bye Rulebook and seifu. Good night."
"Bye Ananya Di and seifu. See you tomorrow."
"Hi everyone!" said Seifu and Ananya together.
They went and hugged everyone.
"What happened there Ananya? We heard the news. Are you alright? And how is Akash? We were all worried here!!" said Nanu.
Ananya told them the whole story.
"Thank God you both are safe!!" said Ananya's mom.
"Mama,we can talk later. Give me food. I'm hungry!!" said Ananya
"Sure... Food ki bachi!" said Ananya's mom, holding her ears.
The TV was on.
"Breaking news. The mastermind behind this attack, namely Kunal, has been given a death sentence. The details of what happen will come out on Monday. He shall be executed on Wednesday."
Seeing this, Siefu want back to her room crying. Ananya went running after her to her room.
"isn't he the same guy we saw at the restaurant?"
"Yeah, it is him."
In the room-
Ananya was hugging seifu.
"I loved him Dee. I loved him!!"
"It's fine seifu. I bet there is some out there waiting for you."
"You really think so?"
"Yes. I do. Now stop crying and let's go have dinner."
"Okay Dee."
Dinner room-
"I missed your food so much!" said Ananya
"Of course, after all who is the best cook in the world?" asked Ananya's mom.
"You!!" both screamed out.
Everyone had their food and Ananya told them about Dubai and what all they did there and the gifts they brought for them.
"I'm going to sleep. Good night." said Ananya.
"Good night." said everyone.
Balcony-
Ananya dialed Akash's number.
"Hello?"
"Hello Akash."
"Hello Ananya."
"Did you have your medicine?"
"Ahhh... Yes..."
"Stop lying to me! Go have your medicine."
"How did you know?"
"I just know!"
"But I don't wanna have it... It tastes bad!" said Akash, like a small child
"Have it Or ELSE..."
"Okay Aunty I'll have it!"
"Aunty hoga tu!"
"Sorry... Now can I sleep?"
"Yes you can."
"And don't haunt me in my dreams, okay!"
"I shall... Muhahahahaha"
"Bye, Hitler."
"Hitler! Now you see. When I meet you, you will be dead."
"Can't wait!" Akash said this with full excitement and then cuts the call.
*sigh* "When will he grow up?"
4th jan-
Akash was with his boss at his DIB office.
"Thank God you are safe. I was scared that something might have happened to you."
"Nothing happened to me sir. I'm absolutely fine."
"That's good. After all of this drama, high security will be given to you."
"What about Ananya?"
"What about her?"
"Wouldn't she be given security too? I mean those people know her now,"
"Good point. It will be given her too. But remember, Mission first and the the girl."
"Yes sir."
*Akash's phone rings*
"Hello." ... "Okay, I'll be there. I'll have to go for the tests."
"Okay. Bye."
Ananya meets up Akash at the airport. They both go together to the clinic. They were at loss of words as they didn't know how to break the silence. A silence whose reason was unknown. Finally, Akash broke it.
"Hmmm... My mom's birthday on next Thursday. So, I was wondering if you could come with your family for the celebration."
"Yeah. Sure. Would love too."
"Great... I'll send you the details."
And at that moment, they were called in.
The two were passed as they were out of shock and were ready to fly a again.
Akash dropped Ananya home and then went back to the office.
"But I still don't get it how did this happen? I mean security breach in Burj Khalifa! How?"
"Even I don't know sir but the details will come out on Wednesday."
"And all we can do is wait."
5th Jan-
Ananya woke up in the morning as she had a flight with Capt Aniket. This was the day is was waiting for as she was going to fly a new Airbus A340 with twin engines for they had been training for 3 months. She ate her breakfast, packed her stuff, wished everyone goodbye and went to the airport. She finished her flight path review and was heading towards the cockpit when she met Megha.
"Ananya Di, can you do me a favour?"
"Yeah. Sure. Tell me."
"Dee, can you keep Mahimas Dee dairy with you?"
"Sure why not,"
"And Dee if anyone asks don't give it to them."
"Okay Megha."
"Bye Dee. "
"Bye"
The excitement is had in herself could not be put into words. They went through the same procedures- paperwork, ATC permission etc. But the moment was here and Capt told her to take off. the flight took off safely. She was lost in the beauty.
"Admiring the beauty?"
"Yes sir. Sir, you know people call it a random collection of buttons but I call it masterpiece of art."
"That's true First officer. Well said."
Everything was going well and they were near the Airport when suddenly one of the engines on the right shut down.
"Capt, the engine has shut down."
"It's okay. Try starting it again. Atleast the rest three are working."
And as he said this, another engine failed on the same side.
"Sir, both the engines failed!!! And worst, they are on the same side!!!"
