Aakash-Anjum OS: Samjhawan *completed*

Aakash,Anjum and their friends sat around the fire lit for the bonfire.All the friends of Aakash and Anjum knew that Anjum loved Aakash a lot,deeply and madly. The day she was about to confess her feelings to Aakash,she got to know from his mother that he had a terrible accident which resulted in a memory loss,partially.

That day was the worst day in her Life.She cried for long hours. Her friends couldnt see her in that state. Slowly,Aakash started to recover but his memory didnt come back. From then,Anjum made a firm decision that she will help make Aakash remember his old memories.

''Anjum,tum kuch gaana kyun nahi gaati ho? Mana mat karna... I know you can sing well.'' Raaj said.

''Nahi,Raaj.. Mujhe nahi ganaa hai..'' Anjum protested.

''Aakash,ab tu hi usse samjha.. Shayad woh teri baat maanle..'' Rajveer asked.

''Main Rajveer ke baato se sehmat hu.. Aakash,Anjum se request karo na,please.. Bohut arsey hogaye hai Anjum ki gana sune huye...'' Myrah pleaded.

''Anju,please gaa do na... Unke liye na sahi,par mere liye gaado.. Please..'' Aakash finally pleaded to Anju,as he lovingly called her.

(Note: Aakash has lost his memory,partially.He forgot about the friendship he shared with Anjum since his college days. He only knows Anjum,now,as Rajveer and Myrah introduced her to him,as their common friend.)

''Thik hai,Aakash.. Sirf tumhare liye.'' Anjum replied,with a small smile.

Rajveer took the guitar and struck the chords,and signalled Anjum to sing along.

''Main tainu samjhawan ki,
Na tere bina lagda jee,
Tu ki jaane pyaar mera,
Main karu intezaar tera,
Tu dil toh yu jaan meri,
Jaan meri..''

Anjum sang the first few lines remembering how she was about to propose Aakash and reveal about the feelings she developed for him. She was desperately waiting for him to come and she will propose him,but,at the same day,she heard about his accident.

Aakash started to have some flashbacks about him and Anjum being very close friends before his accident.He pretended to be ok infront of everyone,but,inside,he was feeling uncomfortable.

''Mere dil ne chunlaiya ne,
Tere dil diya rahaan,
Tu jo mere naal tu rehta,
Turpe meri asawaan,
Jeena mera,haaye,
Hun hai tera,ki main kara,
Kar aetbaar mera,
Main karu intezaar tera,

Before she could sing further,Aakash shouted fiercely,

''Bas karo.. Enough is enough...'' He shouted at the top of his lungs and held Anjum's hand tightly and took him with her.

''Aakash,mera haat chhoriye... Leave my hand,Aakash.. Mujhe dard horaha hai.. Leave it,I said.'' Anjum shouted at Aakash,asking him to leave her hand..

Aakash paid no heed to her words and dragged her to his room and locked it from inside.. Rajveer,Raaj and Myrah went behind them and when they saw that Aakash had locked the door from inside,they got very scared.. They were praying to God,so that Aakash doesnt harm Anjum in a fit of anger.

Inside the room:

Aakash pushed Anjum on the bed and he himself stood beside the bed and trying to calm himself down.

''Yeh kya battameezi hai,Aakash? I thought aap mere sacche dost hai,par,aapne kya kiya? You broke my trust... Main jarahi hu yahaan se abhi ke abhi.. Aapki shakal nahi dekhni hai mujhe..'' Anjum shouted at Aakash and reprimanded him for his intolerable behaviour.

Before she could move an inch,Aakash held her hand and pulled her towards him.Anjum was shocked at the sudden turn of events.She couldnt believe what was going on with her.

''Leave me,Aakash.. Chhor dijiye mujhe... Leave..'' Anjum asked Aakash..

''Mat jao mujhe chhorke,Anjum..'' Aakash replied finally,shocking Anjum..

She looked at him with shocking expression,trying to understand what he said,just now.

''Yeh kya mazaak hai,Aakash..'' Anjum asked,angrily.

''Yeh koi mazaak nahi hai,Anjum. Sach yeh hai ki meri yaaddasht wapas agayi hai.. Kal raatjab main apni bag se kuch samaan nikal raha thha toh tumhari yeh letter mili mujhe. Jab maine isse parha toh pehle shocked hogaya thha aur kuch bhi samajh nahi araha thha.. Baad mein,Maa ko phone kiya aur unko sab bataya.. Unhone hi mujhe sab sach bataya ki kaise mere accident se pehle,tum mujhe propose karne wali thi aur ussidin mera yeh accident hogaya..''

Anjum was really happy that her Aakash is finally back..Tears of happiness streamed down her eyes.She closed her eyes and sent a silent prayer to her Almighty for keeping her Aakash safe.

Aakash smiled at her gesture and brought out a diamond solitaire and proposed her just the way she wanted to propose.. She was amazed beyond words.. She immediately accepted his proposal and hugged him tightly,leting out all the care and love she had kept hidden inside her heart..

As they broke apart,Aakash softly pecked her lips and promised her that he will always be with her,no matter what happens.Anjum also promised the same..
