I know all of you are happy to see Rekha and Madhur get married, but to me this is probably one of the most unbelievable pairings I have ever seen on Indian television. Rekha is a kid. Seriously. She is probably 15 at the most. With all due respect to the actress, she is not beautiful. She is cute and pleasant looking, but she is not going to attract the eye of a man in his 20's. I realize it is typical in this culture to marry young but this is ridiculous. She looks like his little sister. Frankly, it's a bit creepy. Maybe it is the norm in these rural areas, but I don't think it should be.

Now I know I'm supposed to be naive in order to enjoy these serials. I'm supposed to believe that he has fallen in love with her lovely personality, but come on. He barely knows her.

I wish they had taken another turn with this story. How about Shekhar deciding Rekha is too young to be married anyway, and should be educated and literate before being married off?

i agree with u. i thought rekha and madhur were quite an awkward pair as she is so young and he looks alot older than her. i would like to know under hat circumstances did he fall in love with her, the CVs shold clear that up later on.

I agree with you 100% I think Rekha is too young to be married to Madhur and I don't understand how Madhur fell in love with Rekha!! He doesn't know her at all, all he ever did was stare at her and tell her that she should live her life just the way she did before and not live a life of a widow and punish herself just because her husband died. I would have liked to see Madhur be a supportive friends to Rekha not her husband! They could have made Madhur fall in love with Jamuni and that would have made more sense. And your right I think it would be better if the CV's showed Rekha going somewhere else to study and become something. Then maybe later on they can show her and Lali getting their parents out of poverty. But nope the CV's didn't want to do that but they wanted put forth the message that get your child married when they are young to an older man!!

Not Only Child Marriages Agle Janam is Showing Lots of negative things Which could/have already been Shown in Other Older Serial in mUch better way like Agony of a Mom of Only daughters.....Nandini,in this Serial is Abused not only by her Husband but also by her Father-In-Law for Not being able to give a male heir and quite oppositely to Zee's old Serial with Similar topic Ghar ki Lakshmi Betiyaan where they show the Betis excelling the Beta in Agle Janam they are showing Riddhi-Siddhi constantly being cursed wheres the Beta...Lali's Son,to Loha Singh is apple of his eye...What message does it give to the viewers where already this type of dangerous discrimination between Beti and Beta exists as in Rural places where TV is a/can be a very effective medium of changing peoples thinking and if they're to follow Agle Janam which 'glorifies' remarriage by Thakurs{I still don't think Sekhar's marrying Laali was totally right},Over-glorifies the birth of a Son & his importance in a family compared to daughters, shows child marriage, agony & helplessness of daughter-in-law who has only daughters etc etc... Couldn't they show and Promote positive..more progressive things happening to Women??

i agree with you all the way...i mentioned this before that rekha looks like a ten year and too young to get married. madhur is way to old for her...he must be in his early twenties.....i am not happy they are getting married....frankly i find it disgusting.....to me she does not look like his sister....maybe just a young person in his neighborhood he talks to.....nothing more.....also the marriage is another "laali and shekhar" storyline...rich marries poor which is stupid and does not work....look at all the stuff that happened to shekhar and laali....laali has a right to be concerned about her sister getting married to madhur from the upper class......rekha's dumbo like ears do not make her attractive at all.....how can she like madhur....it looks more like a little crush than love for marriage....no need to feel sorry......you are right on 😳 😳
