just a thought.... 😉 😉 😉 have you ever realized how one dimensional these characters are on the show. they only display one side of the character most of the time. sometimes when something usually happens out of the ordinary we see another side of the character. i wish the creatives would do a better job at develop the personalities and behavior of the characters by making them more 2 or 3 dimensional. humans have so many emotions, but we only see specific ones shown. they are too predictable. take laali for example...as i mentioned before she is sickeningly nice all the time. she always forgives and forgets and says sorry. we only see this side of her most of the time. why can't we see a mean side of her...a side where she wants revenge ...or disappointment etc... that would really add to the show...what do you all think???? 😛

yeah instead of appearing like a goddess she would have seem to be a normal human being.vamp in a serial is the truer person who can exist.

I actually don't agree with you. Compared to other shows, this show actually DOES have more dimensional characters. In other shows, there is pure good vs. pure evil. That's it. There is no gray area. In this show, only Laali is pure good. Even Shekhar is flawed and even has a violent streak (which thankfully he uses for good purposes, but still).

As for the other characters, actually, none of the "evil" characters are wicked through and through. All of them have a drop of humanity, which is very different from other serials. They showed Ranvijay feeling pangs of remorse after poisoning his mother. Even though Gangiya is a witch, you can't help but feel sorry for her when you find out more about her past. Siddy, while also a brat and a wicked woman, is mostly just naive and easily manipulated. Even Loha has shown himself to be softhearted at times. I find it much harder to truly hate the bad guys in this show as much as I do in other shows.

After seeing the episode for myself, I think Laali only asked Loha to forgive Siddy in a moment of panic, only because she didn't want him to kill her. Laali is not the type who can tolerate that kind of violence, and I don't blame her. Who wants to witness a murder in their own home, no matter who it is staring down the barrel of the gun? She, much like myself and Shekhar, is sick and tired of Loha's trigger happy nature. It's not as though she begged Loha to let Siddy stay in the house, which is what most of those annoying serial heroines would have done. No, she is not a realistic character, but I think that is expecting a lot from a serial. She is far more interesting than most, definitely more complex. At least she doesn't run around with perfect hair, makeup, heavy brocaded saris, and manicured nails. I always wonder where all these crybaby heroines have time to get their nails done win the midst of all their family drama.

your points are well taken. i don't want a lot of other shows. i only watch two so i can only speak for the ones i watch. you are right there are somethings the creatives have done to give the characters more dimension. they do show different sides of the characters but i feel they are just glimpses into other sides of the character. i would like to see more.

the crying part though is really annoying. i wish they would stop focusing so much on that. they make the women look so pathetic. who cries all day with nothing else to do. they cry over everything which is annoying. on the other hand it is nice to see the creatives show the men cryiing instead of being macho all the time. thanks for your thoughts....
