Sid will remember that.
Here is how she can return to the Haveli again:
Sid goes home with her dad. They decide to go to a good female lawyer with a great track record of winning cases, and say that they threw her out of the Haveli and put the ilzam of poisoning on her because she couldn't give them a male son.
She tells the prominent female, feminist, hot shot lawyer that she was abused and emotionally harassed and that she should be with her husband, not thrown away like a piece of trash.
Sekhar ne hamri mang mey hamrey mai bapu ke saamne Sindoor bhara, Mangalsutra pehnaya, saat phere liye, aur ab ghar se dhakel diya us rakhel ke liye?"
"Ham haveli ko waris nahi de sakte, isme hamra kya dos? Bache dene tou Bhagwan ke haath mey hai, hamre nai."
"Hamrey pass hamre aur sekhar ke biya ke kagajat bhi hai, uspe Sekhar ki sahi (signature) hai. Woh hamra pati aur ham usko talaq nahi dege. Poora jeevan saath kaatne ki kasam khai hai, tou ab nibhana parega."
"Ap kuch kijiye, hamara haq dilaye humko, kyuki ee sahi nahi hai. Ham Maji ko jeher nahi pilaye, woh to Gangiya pilayi thi. Botal bhi woh lai thi. Pata nahi kahan se lati hai yeh jeher ki botalein. Par ham nirdos hai. Hamra haq dilyaye, vakil saheba."
Her dad chimes in..
"Ab hamri beti ko nyaye dilana aapka kaam. Moo mangi rakam denge apko. Pati ke hote hue, Siddheshwari ki jaga apne sasural me hai, apne bachpan ke ghar me nahin."
They show up at the Haveli again with the lawyer who mounts a case and brings the coppers with her. They threaten Loha and Shekhar that if Sid is not taken back in their family, they could have a long drawn out court case against them.
This time, Sid is smarter, since she did not get the support and corroboration from RanVijay and Gangiya, she blackmails them too. And threatens to expose them. They become her pawns.
Loha and Shekhar are furious, they say that they will get their own lawyer, a better one, but she will not enter their chaukhat again.
Their lawyer tells them that Sid has a good case and a formidable lawyer, and they better leave this one alone. They go to a couple of lawyers, they all say that its a tricky case, as Sid has papers signed by Shekhar from their wedding 5 years ago.
Then, Sid is allowed back into the house but has to live under certain strict rules.
A lot of tension is created the day she comes back. She remembers nothing of Laali saving her life or her kindness toward her on the last day. She tells Laali that her only aim in life is to make sure her baby is killed before its first 7 days in the world are over and she will make good on her promise. Shekhar overhears this and open war is declared between Shali and Sid.
Sid can have a brother or two who come by every few days to check on her. They and Loha always get into arguments.
Gangiya and RanVijay team up against Sid.
Their old trust is gone, so now we have more contention and anger between them.
In the meantime, due to Laali's praying and doing an Akhand Paat, Badi Thakurain is miraculously cured completely. Loha accepts her explanation of that fateful night, and blames himself for picking Mukul. She tells him the first poisoning was by RanVijay at the immense coaxing of Gangiya, not Siddheshwari. The 2nd posinging attempt was by Siddeshwari.
Husband and wife make up. Loha installs two hurly, burly big guys, security guards outside his Thakurain's room 24/7 with big guns.
Laali is growing fast in the meantime and her relationship with Shekhar is solidifying each day. A new very expensive Mangalsutra is made and put around Laali's neck, she has never worn something so expensive before in her life. Shekhar's gift to her. And he also gives her some gold kanghans and gold payals. And he tells her that she must put on the Sindoor each day, for the baby and for him.
When Loha hears of the tape and that Laali was trying save and not hurt, Laali's chain comes off. But he doesn't completely thaw towards her.
He decides that after baby Toofan Singh comes along he, Shekhar and Badi Thakurain will rear him, not Laali.
In the meantime Shekhar gets marriage papers made for his marriage to Laali from a lawyer. And keeps them in his safe, Laali puts her anghootha on her papers. The legality of their union is now finalized and they have papers to prove it. He gives divorce papers to Sid in an attempt that if she's not a Bahu, she can leave the house and Laali and the baby and his mom can be safe.
She refuses to sign them and thus continues to stay in the house, and Loha confines her to her room and the door is locked from the outside. Now she feels what Laali felt, her pain, isolation and suffering.
