technology in the haveli --the old and new gagets

this thought occurred to me ...in the house there are lots of old technologies used...the scale that loha used to weigh laali is one of them...i don't get ..if they can have cell phones how come they can't get a regular scale were laali can stand on to check her weight???? i mean they have cars, cell phones, telephones, but why is some of the technology so ancient in this modern world. just think of how much they could accomplish with modern day technology. laali could have a regular scale and a washing machine to wash her clothes with rather than by hand. did you see her when shekhar helped her wash her clothes? how sweet... i can understand the poor people not affording this stuff, but these thakhurs have money to buy such things. so why don't they do that? it will make life a bit simple...don't you think???? comments 😆 😆 😆

oh i forgot about the tape recorder laali use. okay that is old but at least they have one. next is to buy a small dvd and cd player. also there is no tv in the house, which is okay but everyone has a tv so what about them....strange.... 😆

so what do you think about the technology in the house? laali and the women might need some training lessons on the stuff. the men might need some training on the stuff. the women more since they are expected to be at home. can you imagine loha sitting on the internet chatting in chat rooms to other thakuranis......he could have his own website www.thakhurloha.com so funny.....got they would have so much fun. if someone did not want to see the others faces he/she could send an email.... 😆

well the technology is very well balanced in the show, in rural India everyine has cell phones apparently it;s like a fashion there😆. But they are veryy basic on other technology, u won't find a washing machine, basically becuase u can get servants to wash clothes. I don't know why Laali was

well if you have one million people living under the same roof you are bound to have enough drama on a daily basis that you don't need a tv as you said. besides with all those problems who has time to watch tv. i am surprised they don't have a tv. i have seen in some countries in the poorest parts they migh not have the important things but they have a tv. it is wierd. well an entire village could chip in some money and buy a tv for the village. it can be located in one place for everyone to share. 😆
