Small screen's 'Kangna' throws tantrums

Mumbai: She has an uncanny resemblance to Kangna Ranaut. Now, television actor Sukirti Khandpal is working towards being a prototype of Kangna on the small screen. This is giving sleepless nights to the makers of her show Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. Sukirti plays a prominent role in the show that aires on Zee TV.
A source said, "The storyline of the show demands that Sukirti's character turns negative. But she refuses to portray any character that has shades of grey. She says she would rather quit the show than play a negative character. Perhaps she doesn't want to let go of her innocent on-screen image which is similar to some of the roles that Kangna has done. But following Kangna obsessively will damage her career."
Sukirti has even styled her hair like Kangna. She also watches interviews of the actor to get an accent similar to hers. Her friends say Sukirti is so obsessed with looking like Kangna that she always asks people around her for suggestions to perfect the actor's look.
Even Sukirti admits to this 'obsession'. But she doesn't find it wrong in any way.
"People have told me many times that I look like Kangna and I take that as a huge compliment. Kangna is one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood and I aspire to become like her someday," said Sukirti.
