Bullfighter!
Mumbai: Not only male actors but females in the world of celluloid also love action and how! Ratan Rajput who plays the role of Laali in Zee's Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo loves doing her own stunts. Needless to say, she doesn't take the help of any stuntmen. Whether it is playing kabaddi with the men or riding bullock carts, Ratan has always played the fiery village belle with perfection and most of the time the unit members are left surprised with her bravery.
"The latest is that she shot a deadly scene with bulls around. The scene was pretty scary as she was not only supposed to stand in front of the bulls but fight with them. We all think she is taking up her job too seriously, but she refuses to get bogged down by such stunts. She did the scene and was actually smiling after finishing it successfully," says a unit member.
When contacted, Ratan sounds pretty excited. "Though the bulls were trained it wasn't something very easy. I haven't done something so scary before considering the fact that I had to not only stand in front of the bulls but also fight with them. You never know when they snap back at you and that too two bulls...my gosh! I still can't get over the fact that I actually did it. Holding their horns and running after them was a lot of deadly fun, that too in sari. I must say that I did a good job," she says.
When contacted Siddharth Tiwari, producer of the show said, "The scene was shot at helipad in Film City where most of these scenes are shot. With the current story line something like this had to be planned to take the show to another level and give it a different treatment all together. I am sure you guys have seen men fighting with animals in cinema but when you see Laali (Ratan's character)wrestling with a bull I am sure viewers will get goose bumps."
