Dus Ka Dum Season 2 on Sony was extended for eight episodes and was expected to end soon.
Now, given the TAM India ratings last week, the show has been extended for a few more weeks and might conclude in December.
The show grossed approximately 3.8 on the scale last weekend, the highest this season. The episode featured four young leading actresses from the tube.
Danish Khan from Sony confirms, "So far we've found the ratings of the show extremely encouraging. The TV actresses' episode was a hit across all territories. For now, we've only extended the show till October 17. If this season continues its healthy run, we have plans to continue with it till the end of the year."
But are there enough celebrities to keep the show going? Khan asserts, "You'll find commoners on the show soon. We'll have a mix of sports, film and TV celebrities. The idea is to invite them in combinations that can grab eyeballs."
The channel has been featuring the actor too often on their shows from CID to their upcoming Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega and Dance Premiere League. Isn't that an overdose of Salman Khan on the tube?
"He's an asset in every way.
He's also promoting his next, Wanted. It's a mutually beneficial relationship that we share.
And I'm sure people have not had enough of Salman. They'd watch him all the time," beams Khan.
So, is there a third season underway? Khan says, "Yeah, we'd like to have it because this season has been more than a hit for us. We'll plan it only after this season ends."
