Okay so I watched Mohenjo Daro... and I won't say I am disappointed!!!
I heard some negative reviews on the film and I think the reason... or one of the reasons behind the negativity might be its release clash with Rustom... I won't say its a blockbuster but it definitely has potential!!

First talking about Sharad's performance... well it was truly good. 👏
Man he played Mohenjo Daro's previous king...that was amazing... the way he was portraying grief and desperation to let people know of Maham's truth, I really liked it!!

The role is digestible and did full justice to SK coz it was a flashback... where Hrithik seemed to be a baby!! His outfit was cool and that pagdi looked cute. The aggression to stop the construction of the dam and the desperation to make people know what Maham was planning is really amazing!! At last the way he helplessly looks at his wife makes me feel bad... so in all SK dis 100% justice to the role. His role is in flashback and hence its apt for him... he wasn't playing a father to a 25 year old Sarman na!! So I will say I loved him... he truly makes an impression!!
The movie has a brilliantly portrayed terrific end... end is something that will compell u to forget whatever you found borinh and applaud the movie.

Story is good, albeit a lil slow but u can watch it... U won't feel too intrigued by the story coz its kind of redictible but it has some effects that grip u to ur seat...after interval story catches grip... before interval its a lil too slow...
For cast I'd say it has some very very good actors...Kabir bedi rocks as Maham... fantastic performance... one the bestest roles and one of the bestest performances of the movie. Till the end he was superb!!
Hrithik should be applauded for his flawless performance... from start, he is amazing!!!! His chiselled looks and cute gestures in the movie makes him more endearing 😉

Unfortunately Pooja failed to make an impression on me... the actress is cute but given that she has already done films... her acting is poor... she neither portrayed the fear of getting trampled by a wild horse nicely nor the grief of loosing her father!! She is bland and needs to learn more about how to emote thru expressions!!

Music of the movie was really good though I hate the fact they cut my favourite song Sarsaraati hawa from the movie 😡
The first songs thats the title track, has some entertaining yet convincing bollywood masala.. 😃

One of the best and convincing fights of the movie... the fight with the man eaters... its not shown him to be fighting 8 9 feet man eater men like a super hero... but the tricks he used un the fight makes u wanna clap at the end of it... I must say Hrithik has used his Krishh powers very nicely for crawling on the wall 🤣 Nevertheless his fight with the crocodile and the man eaters make an entertaining fight and reminds u of the fight of Jalal and the elephant from Jodha Akbar!!

End is fantastic... the effects used are brilliant and the camera angles are beyond amazing... a 'wow' escaped my lips involuntarily... It really is terrific!!! If u r planning to go... Please go to watch SK, Hrithik, Kabir bedi and the end!! Coz the end is just beyond amazing!!!!

In all Ashutosh has managed to make a decently entertaining movie and the effects and direction manage to hook u to the seats... at times it gor boring but not too much!!
Before the interval u might feel a lil bored...but the history is depicted nicely...a few things like the surprise of the viallgers to see a horse or the economical exchange thing...the wardrobe of the actress and a few other people at times irritated me coz it looked like properly stitched by tailors... its a fiction so u need to keep ur historical knowledge at bay to enjoy... thats what I did... coz there are a few things that aren't convincing!! The end shows how Mohenjo Daro might have drowned and vanished and it's looks like an amazing cause but what was OTT was Sarman literally inaugurating and naming Ganges... Dafuq!!!

So I'll suggest a watch... don't expect something phenomenal like Lagaan or Jodha Akbar... but U might find traces of Bahubali, Jodha Akbar, and a lil bit Krishh in the movie 😛
And if a fie hard Hrithik or SK fan, then definitely go to the nearby theatres! 😉

Do drop ur views about the movie and my review in ur comments!!

Awesome review amreen .agree with u dear .loved the crocodile scene but it quite represents the elephant scene in jodha akbar. The scene where srujan was telling mahams truth as also awesome. Loved sharad in that scene .

I watched Mohenjo Daro yesterday...
Believe me i wasn't disappointed at all... grossly speaking...i would say...

I loved Hrithik and Kabir Bedi for their flawless performances...the high technical quality of this film making...his friend Hojo was so cute...i must say...

SK was too good in that small 10 minutes sequence...he looked convincing in whatever he did...from his looks to his expressions...everything was bang on...loved him totally...

The music was pleasant...i liked it really...the best part was definitely the end...the last 30-40 minutes were just mind blowing...👏👏👏

What i didn't like at all was the lead actress...she just doesn't know acting...so blunt she is always...her costumes...just didn't go well with me...

The fight scenes were damn good..quite realistic...loved them...

All in all ...definitely a one time watch...

For Rustom, I'll comment when i see it...i'm yet to watch it...
