Pyar hai....sirf tumse.. Part 8b (last part) on Page 33 - Page 10

She joined back to work and they continued with their daily routine. They started talking to each other casually but still, their usual teasings and tiffs were being missed by everyone and they knew the reasons for that. Raghav could not find a way to normalise the situation as before. The atmosphere around had become very quiet for everyone's comfort. Their healthy flirting and teasings had become a part and parcel of their daily routine. All of them wanted that everything should normalise between the two, but they knew that this is going to take time and it was only Raghav who could do this, no one else. Trisha being a strict disciplinarian and a girl with so much attitude but very soft at heart, will not give up easily as she was really hurt by whatever happened between them.

Many days passed off like this and Raghav just could not find a suitable time to explain his dilemma to her. One day the entire team had to go out to catch a criminal, the information about whom had just been given to Rajbir by his khabris. The entire team left together at once and reached that place where that criminal was supposed to be present. They had an encounter with many criminals there, while the information was about just few criminals present there. They caught hold of all the criminals and handed them over to the police but during that encounter, Raghav got shot on his chest while saving Trisha. Trisha became extremely worried to see him like this and he had become unconscious after few minutes. They took him to the nearby hospital, where he was immediately operated upon to retrieve the bullet from his chest. She was really scared and was unconsolable; she didn't want to lose him now, she had already lost everything she had. The other members of the team understood her condition and tried to console her and after some time she could reconcile herself.

It was quite late in the night and she decided to send the others back and that she would stay in the hospital with him. The others resisted but she strictly sent them saying that this was an order from their boss and they had to agree. After they left, the doctor told her that he was still very critical and they just need to wait and see how his condition progresses overnight. She became really worried for him and sat close to him on a stool holding his hand tightly. Tears kept on flowing and she could not control them.

Trisha: "bahut ziddi ho tum... jo tum chahte ho, apni baat manwake hi rehte ho. But this time, main tumhe manmani nahi karne dungi, I won't allow you to go away from me. Tumhe meri baat manni hi hogi aur mere liye tumhe theek hona hoga, suna tumne... Main tumhare bina nahi reh sakti, apne mummy papa ko to kho chuki hu ab tumhe nahi khona chahti. Tum mere liye kya ho, main tumhe apne dil ki baat bata nahi saki, kabhi tumne mauka hi nahi diya. I really love you Raghav and I want you at every moment in my life...you understand that. Tum mujhe akela chhod ke nahi ja sakte, tum chale gaye to main bhi zinda nahi rahungi... please Raghav mat jaao, main tumhe nahi jane dungi. Please come back Raghav... I need you in my life, please come back."

She saw slight movement of his hands and she realised that his condition was improving and that he could hear her voice. She kept on talking to him the whole night and after many hours she slept of with his hand in her own hand. Early morning Raghav opened his eyes and saw Trisha sleeping besides him and was holding his hand tightly. He somehow felt that he had heard someone calling his name again and again when he was unconscious and thought that person could be none other than Trisha. He saw that her hair were coming on her face and he slowly tried to move her hair strands away from her face with his other hand so that he could see her. He didn't want to move the hand she was holding or else she would wake up. While moving his hand through her hair, he saw that she had applied vermilion on her scalp and she had hidden it from view under her hair. That's when he recollected that since the time she had joined back after her parents' demise, she used to tie up her hair while earlier she used to keep her hair loose.

He was shocked to see this... Trisha applying this... that means she thinks herself to be married to me... oh my God... How could she...?. Usne mujhse jhooth kaha tha ki wo us shaadi ko nahi manti...Why did she never open up in front of me? Why Trisha why... Why didn't you tell me that you have accepted our marriage? I was thinking all these days that you didn't want to marry me and you felt nothing for me, that's why you were behaving like this, he thought. How would I know what you feel for me, I myself could not express because of my own confusion; but you know everything about my past. Tum ek baar kehti to sahi... he was thinking and had tears in his eyes. He couldn't believe what he had seen just now and unknowingly his hand moved which brought her out of her sleep.

Trisha: "Raghav, tum uth gaye... Ab tumhari tabiyat kaisi hai?" she was very happy to see him alright and she wiped off her tears of happiness.

Raghav: "feeling better but Trisha..." He was about to talk to her but the doctor entered just then to examine him and he gave him some more injections after that. Raghav saw her very happy that he was fine and he decided that this was not the right place to discuss all this and he would talk to her at a suitable time later.

Trisha took a very good care of him even after he was discharged. She went to his house both in the morning and after office and gave him his timely meals and medicines. He was very relieved to see her taking care of him so passionately just like his wife; somewhere inside he felt that she definitely has something in her heart which is more than just friendship which she never expressed. He knew she considered herself as his wife but he wanted to hear this directly from her. He wanted to talk to her but he found her too stressed out as she was managing her work and his health both at the same time. He decided to talk to her when she was stress free. After around two weeks, he became absolutely alright and was ready to join back his duty.

Everyone was happy that he had joined back. He was searching for a suitable time to talk to her but she was keeping extremely busy since the time he had joined back. There was a lot of pending work as she was regularly leaving the office early so that she could reach his home on time. He understood her work related stress and wished he could soon talk to her.

Few days later, it was Raghav's birthday. Everyone had planned for a small celebration for him after the office work finished and Trisha was also invited for the party. Though she remembered his birthday but she couldn't wish him at the outset due to a busy schedule. She didn't get time to get him a present this year as she was very late in reaching home the previous day and she felt sorry for this inside her heart. After the celebration was over, all of them left from the office and only Raghav and Trisha were left behind.

Trisha: "I'm sorry Raghav, I couldn't get you any present this time"

Raghav: "thanks Trisha, that means I can ask for a present of my choice now... Isn't it"

Trisha: "what do you want from me?"

Raghav: "you have to promise that jo main maangunga, tum wo mana nahi karogi."

Trisha: "ok I promise, but aisa kya chaiye tumhe that you need this promise from me"

Raghav: "just one thing from you... I want my Trisha back jo kabhi kisi se jhooth nahi bolti..."

Trisha: "what... maine kya jhooth bola Raghav?"

Raghav: "yahi ki tum hum dono ki shaadi ko accept nahi karti, jabki tum ab bhi apni maang me sindoor lagati ho... Hai na?"

Trisha was shocked to hear this. How did he come to know this, she thought. She turned around and closed her eyes in dismay; she didn't know what to say to him at this point.

He turned her around and pulled her close to himself. She struggled to free herself but could not, she gave up the effort in some time.

Trisha: "yeh kya keh rahe ho Raghav, aisa kuch nahi hai..."

Raghav: "tumhe jhooth bolna nahi aata Trisha to koshish mat kiya karo... aur mere saamne to bilkul bhi nahi... Ok" he took his hand behind her neck, took off her clutcher and let her hair loose on her shoulders. He took her in front of the mirror and showed her the vermilion which she had applied even today.

Raghav: "yeh kya hai Trisha..." He paused for a few seconds and then said "tumne mujhe bahut hurt kiya Trisha, tum mujhe ek baar bolke to dekhti, main tumhe wo sab khushiyan dena chahta tha jo tum deserve karti ho, but tum to sab kuch apne andar chhupa kar rakhti ho. You don't find me suitable for you... isn't it... that's why you always hide this under your hair. Do you find our marriage to be a burden on you? why Trisha... Why? Aaj tumhe batana hoga ki aakhir tumne aisa kyun kiya, kyun tumne mujhe apne aap se itna door kar diya? Tum nahi janti itne din mujhpar kya beeti hai, tum to bas..."

Trisha: "stop it Raghav... just stop it. Maine tumhe khud se door kiya... maine... Really? Enough now... jo man me aaya wo keh diya without thinking what effect it has on the other person. So easily you married me in front of my father just to fulfil his last wish. Aur uske baad kya... Tum mujhe sirf isliye apnana chahte the kyunki main tumhari responsibility thi... Bas...kyunki tumne mere dad se promise kiya tha... Aur kuch nahi... Right... but did you ever think for once, why did my dad ask you to marry me? Did you ever bother to think or ask me what I wanted, what I felt for you? For you men marriage won't be that important as it is for a girl, it changes her entire life. You changed my life in just one day...You so easily said that you married me because it was my dad's last wish, nothing more... How could I tell you in this situation that I ..."

Raghav: "I what..."

Trisha:"that I love you damn it... I always loved you from the depth of my heart and always wanted to marry you and my dad knew this. Unhe pata tha ki meri khushi sirf tumse hai, isliye unhone tumse aisa karne ko kaha. Maine unhe apne birthday par apni feelings ke baare me bata diya tha. But jab tumne keh diya that you don't feel anything for me, I was shattered inside out, I felt as if I had lost my entire life in that one moment. How could I tell you what I felt for you? Tum itne dino se mujhse baat karna chahte the par baat karne se kya hota... Kya tumhari feelings mere liye badal jati... that's why I didn't talk to you. But you would never understand, what I went through all these days, I knew I am married to you but you don't accept me as your wife from your heart. So how could I tell you that I thought of myself as your wife all these days, tum hi batao... main kaise batati tumhe... Please tell me how could I tell you that you are my love, my life... everything for me..."

She was crying all through while she was talking. Raghav was shocked to hear all this, he had never expected in his dreams that Trisha would open up like this in front of him. He always wanted to hear this and today he got his wish fulfilled in these circumstances. He had tears in his eyes seeing her cry in front of him and blamed himself for all her tears and he went close to her. She saw him so close to him and unknowingly out of her pure love, she leaned onto him and shed all her love for him through her tears. He was very happy today, he felt so complete and felt as if he got everything with that one hug. He was about to wrap his arms too around her but at that very moment, as he closed his eyes, the memories of his dad's murder surrounded him and he became really scared. He remembered his past and got anxious at the very thought of losing his beloved. He had lost whosoever was close to him till now since his childhood. His love for her made him weak in front of his past memories. He couldn't lose her at any cost, even if he had to keep her away from him. He couldn't risk her life till his mission is accomplished. He had tears flowing through his eyes and with a very heavy heart, he took her away from him and suddenly went out of the room. He didn't even look behind while he went out. He went inside to the washroom and shed all his tears and cried his heart out. Vidushak had once again managed to make him all alone in this world, today once again he felt as if he lost everything. After some time he managed to compose himself and left from the office and went back to his home.

Trisha was surprised to see this reaction from him and felt as if she lost everything today. She never expected this kind of a response from him. She always thought that he liked her and the way he became worried for her whenever she was in trouble... what was that, she thought. If he didn't have any feelings for her, then why did he always made her feel so special everytime they used to be together? Why did he have to talk to me about this, he could have just let everything go on as it was going, she thought. He had literally rejected her today. She didn't know what to do now, she was all alone in this world. Today she lost everything... her love, her best friend and her only support... everything she thought. She couldn't believe herself and she sat on the floor and kept on crying for a long time, she was totally shattered inside out. She just wished her parents were there with her at this time but she knew that was not possible. She had to be really strong for her parents' sake. She'll have to take care of herself, she thought. She somehow composed herself and drove towards her home after some time. She went home and lied down on her bed without even changing and kept on crying. How would she face Raghav again, she didn't have that courage in her now, she thought and became very worried. Whole night she kept on thinking about Raghav and she drifted into a light sleep after a long time.

Precap: Raghav's conflict between his heart and mind...

He got so engrossed in her thoughts and recalled that till now, he had been afraid of closing his eyes as whenever he did that, he always saw his dad's murder and the joker's mask. He had started having sleep related issues also because of his fear. But today, he again wanted to try it out somehow. He closed his eyes and went into his thoughts... to his surprise and much relief, he didn't see his most horrifying experience of his life, instead he saw his life... Trisha in front of his eyes smiling to him as ever. He suddenly opened his eyes and realised what she meant to him and he wanted her in his life asap. He was very happy tonight and he soon went off to sleep thinking about her.
