I am posting my review rather half-heartedly. Honestly, and this is according to my subjective perspective- today's episode was a test of my patience.🥱

For the first time I switched channels and watch snatches of Diya aur Baati Hum where a man was sandwiched b/w two women, who were pulling him towards themselves as if he were a ragdoll. And gah, I even found that more interesting than the episode.😕😆

CASE SUMMARY

So a woman gets thrown off the fifth floor of a balcony and the only eyewitness is another woman who is reluctant to share information with the police.

MERITS OF THE EPISODE

The only merit of the episode was that Trisha had a lot to do, and we saw glimpses of her intelligence and leadership (case in point, she catches a suspect's lie when she searches the meaning of a French expression). SK of course was awesome as usual in his portrayal of a (seemingly) lovelorn police officer. Aahana too, in her portrayal of how professional Trisha is, yet how in her heart of hearts she is a woman. She particularly stood out in the scene where she urges Raghav to get out of her way, and that she would shoot even him if he obstructed justice.

RaSha/RaTri MOMENT

And the single bright point of the episode- Raghav asks playfully whether she steps into the kitchen, and she asserts that a working woman can be equally adept at cooking. Raghav seemed a little stunned (in a good way) by her rejoinder, and she awkwardly changed the subject the very next moment. 😳 Another tiny moment at the end during his victory walk where Trisha taps him on the shoulder playfully and he grins😃

DEMERITS

Demerits, on the other hand- Lengthy list: here it comes-

1. The promotion of Quikr Cars by Rajbeer and Gauri -God help me!🥱

2. The killer who was obvious from the get go, even a child would've known who it is.🥱

3. The picturization of the romantic song on Raghav and that girl (I don't remember her name😆). Seriously, there are better ways of showing Raghav falling for that girl without a song sequence to boot. The show just spoilt the song in question for me, it was one of my favorites. I can never listen to it with the same moony-eyed expression again😭😃

4. The endless moments b/w the girl and Raghav, and her constant hugging. It sorely tested my patience.😡 Not to mention, Trisha's jealousy. Though of course, it gives us an inkling of her feelings, but it made her seem...undignified somehow. And it also made me realize that I am more of a shipper than I thought. It was terrible to see him romancing some random girl, though I knew that it was an act.😭🤢

5. I am thankful that ultimately it turned out to be an act planned by our dynamic duo. The fact that Trisha and Raghav had planned it so that the killer would confess. But was there no other way they could achieve that end?🤔

6. The fact that they didn't show Trisha and Raghav's planning scene where they had connived to make the killer fall into their trap. I was waiting for that eagerly. And the fact that he said she was jealous, I was waiting to see them bantering over it.

7. The walk of triumph at the end- ban it!😡

8. Less Bikram-Rajbeer-Gauri moments.

RATING

Overall, 2.5/10, that too because I am feeling particularly generous. That 2.5 is only because of the small Raghav-Trisha moment and the depiction of the Trisha leadership moments.

My advice would be to fast-forward the episode and catch that small moment alone.😆 But of course, opinions might differ and you might have a different prerogative.😊

Thank you so much di for posting the review , well truly it was a test of patience and I simply changed the channel in the middle because I simply coudn't bear the love track.
This is because first I hate the creamy romances and secondly it was irritating kind of to see Raghav with the random girl.
No offences to the actress , she did a brilliant job .
The episode was stretched too much and then Raghav and radhika ( that was her name ) were getting cosy every 2 seconds .

Absolutely what I liked about the episode was both Trisha and even bikram into solo action . wonderful jobs by both.
The performances of actor was what made me bear the episode , the story was utter crap .
I mean this is the starting at least give a few authentic episodes.

So true, dear. You are spot on in your assessment of the episode.😊

Even the case could've been dealt with at length, but they spent an inordinate amount of time showing the romance. That too, with a random girl😡

Yes, the actress was pretty convincing. If I am not wrong, she was once the lead of a Star One show.

The only thing that redeemed this episode was the performances by Sharad, Aahana, Jason and Sara Khan (who plays the eyewitness). Otherwise, nothing home to write about.

Thanks for commenting😃

Also there was no scenes to show that Trisha was truly jealous , just one where she leaves the room seeing the girl clinging, raghav .
I would have given reviews if they would have shown the planning part than the victory walk , though I find it cool sometimes .
But one question is was it in raghav's plan to say Trisha was jealous ? I hope it wasn't scripted

^ I think there were two scenes where she was jealous, na? Not sure, though.

Exactly, I'd love to see them discussing the implications of that heavy statement. The fact that he said she was jealous. It was just left hanging in the air.

^ Thanks a lot:) I am not sure I deserve the compliment, though. I try hard to be objective, but there are times when I go off-tangent and rant😆

Wow, that explains it. I am glad that they stuck with Aahana though.

They left it on the viewers to presume anything and everything out of the statement .
I felt they exaggerated the thing by raghav's fake confession.

Yes, it was an exaggeration, an act. But I'd have loved to see them discussing it in a light-hearted manner. Like Raghav asking- I know you were jealous, and Tri glaring at him.

Or at least the scene where he explains that it is an act.
