Agent Raghav: Isn't Sharad Kelkar's detective show like Sherlock Holmes and Psych?

The moment we saw the promo of Agent Raghav, Sharad Kelkar's new show on &TV, we had a strong feeling it was like Sherlock Holmes. Did we want to see yet another adaptation of the famous detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle? Of course, not! And yet, there was something about Sharad Kelkar's acting that made us feel like watching it. He is one great TV actor (and film too) among the current crop.

And it seems other viewers feel that too, as the show has been trending on Twitter as #AgentRaghav. Sharad has received congratulatory messages on it. Agent Raghav premiered on Saturday, September 5 at 9 pm IST, and its second episode will be telecast on Sunday, September 6.

We still think Agent Raghav is like Sherlock Holmes, most recently adapted into the TV shows Sherlock andElementary, as also the movie starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.

Agent Raghav also reminds us of TV shows like Psych and The Mentalist. But Sharad Kelkar makes it worth it! And good for those who don't watch English shows or films, and haven't read The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Our rating for Agent Raghav would be 3.5 stars. What's your opinion?

Quite like Sherlock Holmes. The tagline of "We see, but do not observe" is quite apt.
Dr Watson is missing. And what is the clue about the jokers mask?
