Mitali Nag to be killed in 'Afsar Bitiya'?-TOI

In a shocking turn of events, the makers of Zee TV's Afsar Bitiya have decided to do away with their protagonist Krishna played by actress Mitali Nag. Apparently, the channel is planning to rope in another face to play the protagonist in the show.

Incidentally, Mitali is aware of that she is going to be killed and the development has led to a lot of chaos on the sets of the show.

The decision has been taken to infuse a major twist in Afsar Bitiya. The show that airs at 7 pm is pitted against Star Plus' popular daily soap Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and hasn't been able to generate encouraging ratings. The show last week fetched a rating of 0.9 as compared to 0.8 last week. The channel and the production house has pinned their hopes on this impending twist.

She is doing a good job and recently got an award too. How do they think killing her is going to help?

The 7.00 p.m. slot is not a correct slot for a serial like AB, becoz it is a progressive serial instead of a Saas-Bahu serial which is preferred by housewives.

If they had a better time-slot I am sure it would gain good Trps's. Killing Krishna is certainly not the answer.

Is it really true ! She is perfect for the role . Why the CVs always blame actors/ actress for low TRPs. They need to understand that it is their crappy script writing , twists actually are the reason for low TRPs. Instead of blaming themselves, they blame actors/actresses !

instead of changing the lead actress change the crazy storyline.
if this is true i will switch to punar vivah.

Mitali Nag will no longer be in AB ... so are the writers replacing her with another actress I thought we were going to be introduced to ST's daughter AB will still have or not BDO drama ... ?

but then again we have been fooled by the media before

"MITILESH WILL BE PROTECTIVE LOVER " and that did not happen
