This is definitely an interesting twist as I always thought that Mithilesh admired/respected her as a boss and nothing else. I also thought that Pinky would be paired up with him, so she can get insider information about the BDO office and Krishna. I guess they already have Chaubey doing that job for Pinky and Bihari. With all the drama that TT is staging, defintely Prishna will be separated and during that time Mithilesh might help her to get to the bottom of the Ganga Devi's arrest and TT's kaarnamon and might mistake Krishna's kindness and respect as love. This is my 2 cents take on this article 😛

BDO and the Clerk ! Shocking to me! And as unreasonable it is to digest, they throw in a haajmola of the possessive lover psyche...which means Mithilesh has no mind, so I have to accede to that drama and may be Krishna will also accede to it.
