1 am here.. should be off to bed, so in my attempt to answer - if i glaze over a question or thought - i will hopefully revisit it tomorrow or so.. kinda of like how i still reserved my spot on your post 😆😳

aaah, never knew kinshuk tried "immersing" himself first ... that must have been an experience. especially if he had his wife give him company 😆

is this issue of "romance and marraige" truly specific to zee? maybe akin to the rona dhona family dramas of star plus? it truly makes sense when i think back to every serial I have seen on Zee. it's like any issue, any solutions, or any stem of tension is created through the tapping of the marraige stick. like ram milayee jodi .. mona and anu (only remembering his nickname, at the moment) like each other but are of different cultural backgrounds - issue. they get married - issue. they help everyone due to their strong bond - central message ..ram milayee jodi. the guy dies, mona will die too - issue. mona can be saved via marraige - issue. mona married off - back to it being the end game.

maybe this is the effect of Ekta Kapoor and her brand of stories .. she loves showing affairs, and creating these crazy angles that always center on a couple (kkusum, kutumb, kasamh se, etc. even hearing her sony shows revolve around marriage, affairs, love after marrying, etc.).

as for sns, i think the TRPs dropped because it was really going nowhere. always the same, minus aham falling in love (finally). i haven't watched since before holi .. but i think rashi going back to her antagonistic ways really annoyed viewers, and the plots they created to be a sense of contention really rubbed viewership wrong. DABH, i do not watch, but i have to say anas is really cute, and i like his supportive, responsible, family-oriented and sweet portrayal of a husband 😉

in the end .. the path and end of all serials are essentially the same due to the length of production they must endure, creators totally mess up a track/plot, than viewer disapproval is acknowledged, some time passes, and then the serial is wrapped up after some damage is salvaged. does the message stay somewhere afloat? i'm not sure. is the lasting image of that original concept present at the end? maybe, maybe not. most likely, it is warped with the time and span it had to endure..it could just be a matter of perception.

as for HD .. i totally stopped making posts maybe in January bc the quality of topics were diminishing, and i couldnt garner any conversation through my own HD-related posts .. that i stopped looking through the forum and just chatted in the AT 😕 although, Nels has tried with effort in upholding the quality of posts -which i commend her. i've met some very interesting and fun individuals through IF .. it feels nice to share views, just chat and such. 😊

now i shall tell myself to reach slumberland.

What do I say to you Rids. I don't know why I started watching this show. Initially it was because I saw some promos of the show. The first promo that stuck with me was that little girl running and the whole town running after her. I was intrigued and then found out that everybody was running after because she stole a pencil and when they find why she stole it they let her go.

So thought I'd watch the first episode and be done with it. But then the next day I just wanted to check out what will happen next and like Scheherazade drawing the king with the stories it led me to watch Pintu Singh's entrance so by now I was hooked when she ran to give that interview after losing her duppatta which Pintu Singh returned after they met. At that instance I knew they would be together in the future.

So came to India forums to see how the show was doing and then met all these forum members who shared so many views on the show so started participating here.

I did not know much about Kinshuk Mahajan but have seen glimpses of him in Bidai. Also I did not know much about Mitali before I started watching this show. Also I thought Kinshuk was just eye candy for the girls but realized that he is a very good actor and he's got better with age after. So I'm not a crazy girl fan. I've been told I'm too reticent by Shri.

Earlier I used to watch Gulaal. Before that it was all K shows because that is what my family watched.

I'm also one impatient guy who sees the red button and think you are not online. I'm sarcastic sometimes with my posts , I think , so always trying to tone it down and I have a tendency to summarize everything and say things in a precise manner.😆 All of these qualities I seem to have I found after I came to this forum.

And I feel I've talked too much.😃😳

Go to HD forum, look at Brandon's posts. he calls himself The Future Lord. He writes like the true satirist. I love his thoughts! Atleast he tries to be different and his objectives are well thought off.

Then you should go to DABH and check out avidfan's posts. Oh! my my! if she is on the roll to snap out, she does fultoo style. Love her for her saucy comments. Well! I was watching DABH first...I had to leave when I could no longer take the crassness of the show. The producers are same as the Punar Vivah team. They start off the drama with a lie. And whole drama becomes melodrama because lie breeds more lies and issues. It is just dirty to see. PV is also going the same style. But I really wonder, how Indian crowd loves crassness. What a TRP for DABH!

Mr. Angel (😉), i've responded to your succinct PM .. so here i am to just add one last thing..

i found Kinshuk to be feminine looking for my own personal tastes .. and thought, like you, that he just might make the show rise in TRP because of his disney/bidaai popularity and cute features .. BUT i was pleasantly surprised by his talent as well.

all in all, it's a great cast.. and all of them aptly make a full image from their own contribution.

& now, for real, goodnight! :)

about the Pinky thing . I like what Pinky is doing right now flirting with the DC Akaash. Don't know what it is but I think they are evenly matched. One is too idealistic to madness and the other is obsessed to craziness. I hope they become a couple and balance each other out.

@Bold, bang on! The two are totally deserving of each other on that context. But as much as I would like Pinky to get someone else to obsess over with (atleast one musibat less for PRISHNA) I must confess that I am dying to see a third angle in Prishna's love story. Add to that, the DC needs some shaking up by the shoulders😡. He is a fool of the first order in my opinion, falling to Pinky's traps like a baby would to a candy.. I would love to see Krishna proving his judgments about her wrong, while he feels ashamed of having doubted an honest employee. Then, as they say happens before he realizes it, VOILA! Mr. DC would be head over heels with our miss idealist😈

Pinky definitely looked cute in the Tennis dress. Actually Shivshakti is very cute. She has a baby face and though I never saw her earlier show i used to wonder why the show chose such a bacchi as their lead😆 She might not be that young really but she looks 16 or 17,

Rids, I too wanted to comment on Mitali's smile. I think its gorgeous! It lights up her face and doubles up her beauty in a second. Wow..i am really in love with her smile😍

About old shows...gaaah! I am ancient so my earliest memories will be a the classic Sitcom called Ye jo hai Zindagi , I was a baby back then but i still remember some of the scenes😆. It used to be hillarious and very very original in its concept. It had Satish Shah (who i consider one of the Tzars of Hindi comedy along with some others)

There was also one called Udaan which was extremely popular. It was said to be based on the life of then IPS offcire ,Kiran Bedi. That show was quite inspiring.

The other shows that i used to love watching and still recall with a fondness of heart would be Circus and Fauji which had sadda SRK (I used to drool endless over him in those shows even when i was a kid lol)

Then a little later with the foray of satellite television we had youth oriented shows with a feel good factor like Hip Hip Hurray! which catered to young students like me. This show's most popular actress would be Shveta Salve who played a class 10 student. I also loved Hum Paanch like hell. The only show of Ekta maiyya which i can ever really call entertainment. Also actor Madhavan's TV launch vehicle Banegi apni baat and later hisSaaya were good shows that i remember.

All the shows that i do remember are really old now, from the recent lot I don't think I can name any show which stood out really apart . I watched only a few shows since i joined college and left my home, so it is possible that I could have missed out on some good ones. AT the last I would like to mention DMG, which for me was like a breath of fresh air in its first year. The lead pair making a mark on my heart and mind like no other couple ever has. But that shows epic downfall is too embarrassing, so I shall leave it at that.

Wow. Hope you guys don't fall asleep reading my mini documentary on Indian telly shows i liked🤣

i remember Fauji .. TV Asia is a channel here that plays serials a while after they originally started for those who don't have satellite television (can you imagine a mere ten years ago no on had satellite tele!)

anywayyy ... two things, almost three, running in my mind.

one, did we really just have the realization and pseudo confession episode? really??? (pintu's daydream was kinda scary .. krishna is kinda put on the spot 😕 & he gets rejected. everyone looked so odd, very intense, maybe even disapproving, as well. reminds me of a song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4mXSacbl9E . if i could advise pintu .. i'd say ditch the grand confession and do it in private without the world privy to it, especially since krishna is kind of unpredictable. btw, even though i'm glad pintu has the friend he does ... is this friend totally on pintu's side??? i hope he is since pintu needs some company other than krishna...)

two, dang it - shri's right .. zee can't just show romance for romance's sake. it has be topsy, turvy, and just so .. definite and final i guess

and three; i wonder if babloo loves his wife. i really do.

And, me too want his friend to play the support role effectively as Pinto does need people other than Krishna and Babloo and his parents. May be both should venture out together for setting up their own enterprise. That tender for Computers Supplier to Govt. High school is still pending approval at Krishna's office.

And definitely Babloo does love Sargam! Woh to dikhta hai yaar! Bas Zee cannot show more than that 😆 😆
