What I liked and didn’t like - 30 May 08 - Page 5

Personally i dont feel u/s hold the show..but the point is does Indian viewership accept that as well..we cant overlook the fact that Varun Badola is a brand name in the Television industry in India...his exit or semi exit may very well give starplus yet another reoson to give a wrap up signal!!!..and also most importantly it may lower the TRP's further...I dont know really..but on thing is for sure...there is definitely a catch for Sandeep being shoved to Bombay..now wether this catch is related to the story or then the shows discontinuation shortly..only time will tell...

I hope they find a way to sustain this show..it really depends on them now..and Varun Badola ..and Starplus.....lets keep fingers crossed!!!

I have already watched the episode 5 times and the showdown 10 times and i dont tire of it. It definitely ranks with May 27th 2007 and Diwali episodes!!!

I dont like the "going to Mumbai" twist either (they could have shown the money twist some other way). I hope it doesnt mean a change of actor for Sandeep's character. That will definitely "le doobega" the serial! Though if Varun was quitting or the serial was ending, we would have heard about it from the media or TellyBuzz etc.

Mixed emotions right now - happy for the smashing episode but worried about next week!

I hope they do not change Sandeep's character as well.. I want him just like he was when the aek chabi started!

n most of all, how Sandeep says in front of everyone tht he is tired of being maryada purushottam.

"wht i didnt like" cant be ignored coz it was high-voltage drama with some unexpected scenes/dialogs

i too hope Varun is not leaving

i wanted to do this but didnt all this time as i finally saw the episode completely only yesterday.
what i liked:
-so many ppl missing me...awwww! 🤗
-the last scene...it was so typically sandeep-urmish.
-the balcony scene and flying kisses...it was also typically sandeep-urmish except that when have sandeep and urmi been so careless earlier? but the way sandeep called urmi...omg he did it so slyly as though he has been doing that for ages...and sandeep calling urmi to his house and she showing nakhras. 😍
-the street-fight...it was just as i expected with sandeep standing rock-solid..taking all the blame and ready to fight it out. 👏 i dunno why you all thought he wouldnt take a stand and wouldnt support urmi when required. he is very protective of urmi...only he is allowed to behave badly with her.
-the mohalla coming and whole-heartedly supporting sandeep and urmi once they realized that these two are serious about each other...very typical chabhi. 👏
-sandeep telling the editor that he doesnt want to leave CG as his life is there...just as i always thought...he didnt leave CG all this time for Urmi. awwww... 😍
-sandy's hair was better than what it has been lately...also he wore a shirt in 2 scenes and a t-shirt in one. looks like the makers wanted to give it all in one episode.
-bauji...i liked the fact that unlike the others he didnt try to bully rasik into agreeing and made a fair deal...i guess left to sandy alone if urmi hadnt try to bolt even he would have done the same and thats why he readily agreed


what i didnt like:
-rasik's reaction was OTT i felt...he was a sweet man...what happenned to him even if he was shocked? he was such a doting dad and also fond of sandeep. also once sandeep said he will fulfil all his dreams sandy suddenly became so likable. no wonder sandy gave him such looks. 😔
-sandeep nearly getting physical with rasik and urmi shouting at her dad...these 2 have always shown to be well-behaved and respectful towards everyone(if not to each other). what happenned to them? also its not as if rasik was being very wrong. 😕
-sandeep was very unsandeepish in confrontation...it was as though when rasik pulled urmi someone else's atma entered sandy and he did and said many things what he normally wouldnt. like sandy isnt the sort who would take impulsive decisions but he did that. but then since the time he has proposed to urmi she has had some influence on his behavior
-things happened really fast with all action packed into one episode...i really wish they had taken all the advice we had been giving from the past few months and kept the focus on s/u as well as other characters by turns it wouldnt have been so hurried. it was tough to take in all the action happenning.

some comments:
-when i saw end my first thought was now sandeep too joins the lost portkey gang along with zoya, vaibhav, sagar and so also by default urmi.
-sandy getting an offer for the editor's post in mumbai? now that a lil strange given that he been freelancing all this while. even if his boss is very fond of him no one would hand over such an important post to an inexperienced guy just like that. rather if the boss moved to mumbai and handed over the allahabad edition to sandy that would have been lot more logical. also if sandy expected rasik to object why didnt he try to anything till now that is from when he proposed till rasik knew?
-like monu said when they showed sandy's sleeping arrangements i was like what? is he planning to keep urmi there? till now we had assumed that he has another room which is the bedroom. no wonder rasik had a huge problem.
-coming to the future(if there is any) given the current twist i would like to see some long distance romance between s/u. also see what happens when urmi lands up in mumbai without telling sandy. they need not take a year's leap.
-btw...i think we all liked the episode because the writer was arshad syyed who used to write before...all those great episodes...now if siddharth sengupta were the director too it would have been as good as the diwali episode.

I know...😍 they could hv actually progressed this one thing each episode! instead of some no-S-U at all episodes. but it was worth watching!

I always said he would! when the time comes, - he would! (even when he went into sacrifise mode post diwali.. I was making posts saying when the time comes he will say that infront of everyone!) but then again.. the past few episodes were so wierd.. and un-sandeepish that i was loosing hopes..

now, shreya, I dont think his life - meant only urmi. he considers CG and CG-ians his life.. if it was just urmi, he would hv prolly gone to mumbai or noyda or wherever his boss was offering him earlier..

The episode was quite chabi-ish uitil part 4 of the video. it suddently went zzzzoooooom away from subtle to filmi in last few minutes. right after her held her hand and pulled her away.

I guess, they tried to cramp everything in few seconds last in minute. (*sigh* they have some damage control to do after they come back i feel..)

specially things that I found OTT was sandeep talking too aggressively 😡 - even when he said he loved her.😕 he tone was funny. and 'I'll do anything for urmi' bit hardly made sense...

yup! maybe mumbai market of this new hindi newspaper are not that high.. so the headoffice remains at allahbad..? anyways, i dont think sandy was doing only freelancing - we have seen him bossing around the editor in past epsiode.. I think he was doing a lot of free helping in editing etc.. again quite sandy-ish..😛

I mean so knowing sandy, so he must hv prolly tho't about progressing some other way right?.. thats why he said no to editer.. shd hv had some plans in his mind - logically speaking. and then he suddenly jumps at rasik's confrontation and says I will do anything for urmi- go anywhere etc.. now that makes sense! sandy was quite like the sandy we loved in most of the episode.. unlike past few we were getting! oh I want to see more of these classic episodes.. 😭

true...now if they would have taken the whole of may to show this whole thing ie rasik finds out in first week of may and things progress from there...ie one week rasik finds out...next week he refuses after giving it a thought(that would take care of rasik's affection for sandy)...sandy gets thinking what to do to manao rasik...urmi tries to run away and confrontation...something they did with the aki episode last may where they took 3 episodes to show the whole thing. then it would have been proper.

yes sandy was too aggressive which was unlike him. and kept giving rasik 'dont dare to say no else i will punch you' looks...thats unlike him. but i liked it when he said that he can do anything for urmi and also when he looked at her in the eye and said if i dont succeed i myself will come and say i am not good enough for urmi.

i loved the whole epi............i dont want too take out any faults in it......snif snif........i cant, i dont have the heart too......... 😳

Same here..i am really going to miss the show!!!...i dont care what they show as long as its decent and friendly!!..i only wish it comes back.......
