Wow... I could very well relate to this outrageous moment that you shared.. I remember doing something similar during my corporate training in Bangalore..What exactly happen was we had this investment deal goin on where a big MNC was being taken over by a venture capitalist firm. Now we had to study all the nitty gritty of the deal.. When the deal was almost final the CFO(😳) of that was in a video con with all mgmt guys.. I had to be there just to listen to all the boring conversation.. I couldnt even sleep since I was just a trainee there.. Now suddenly the CFO on the call asked me about my experience with the deal.. He obviously expected me to say some nice things about the deal so that he could close the meeting.. Par mere mouth se first word kya nikla..😆 I said 'Mumma Mumma'😡 Now everybody at the conf room were sternly looking at me and me all.. The guy on the calls said 'Sorry I didnt get that, Are you missing your Mom?'😡.. I was like.. Then something clicked and I said that too with lot of confidence' I wanted to say that my Mom is nowadays very confused and angry with me' He asked 'Why'.. I said 'Because she thinks that I have left a huge MNC and a very well known name in the market to a practically unknown company with no identity in the indian market. She is not very happy of this. My point of emphasis here is the brand building strategy for your firm after the acquisition..' Phew...People thought it was a good point and they appreciated that I raised this point😉.. The only bad thing that happened was that the meeting which was about to finished extended for two more hours and continued for two more days..But that day I realised you should be a 100% at your workplace..Learnt it in a funny way though..Sowwie I just cud stop sharing this here, even though I am just supposed to give u qs..😳
