Ranjib Mazumder Varun Vadola, otherwise known for his cordial behaviour, was thrown out of Tony and Deeya Singh's Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi for the yet-to-be launched NDTV Imagine. He has been replaced by Apoorva Agnihotri. Says a source from the production house, "Varun is just committed to one show, so we thought he would have bulk dates for us. When we signed him on he didn't say that he had any problem. The planning was taking a lot of time and we were about to begin shooting for the show when he revealed his true colours. Varun not only threw his weight around he was also giving silly excuses for not doing the show. At the end of it all, the production house and the channel together decided to chuck him. Anyway, we have found a good replacement in Apoorva Agnihotri." Varun, when contacted seemed unperturbed with the development. He said, "There was nothing serious about it. The shooting was supposed to begin in September, and then it was postponed to October. To be very honest, in December I do a lot of shows, thanks to Nach Baliye. Since I don't do too much work, these shows give me a lot of money on which I can depend a lot. So, I did not want to miss those shows. I told them very frankly that I won't have dates during that period. I am also doing Aek Chabi Pados Mein. I realised that it would be a big problem, for both me and the production house, in terms of dates. So, after consultation with the production house it was decided that it would be better for me to opt out of the show." The industry is abuzz with the idea that he was shown the door, we asked him if it was true. He said, "Yes, I admit that I was committed to the show, the rest is left to your interpretation. If people are saying that then, I must say that the entire unit is going to thank me in future. Because if I were doing the show it would have become really difficult for everyone to work in it!" he added. Shailja Kejriwal, executive vice president of the channel, confirmed the news. "Yes, Varun was supposed to do Tony and Deeya Singh's new show, and he was committed to our project too. But, there were definitely some serious issues. So, we decided to replace him by Apoorva Agnihotri." Yes, I admit that I was committed to the show, the rest is left to your interpretation. Now you guys can be in peace..he is still doinbg ACHPM and will continue doing so..its clear from the article..so forget rumours of the show being shelved!!!!

by that he meant - if he wouldnt hv quit - they would hv had problems with his dates and time.. coz he is already doing so much..

OMG I almost got a heart attack when I read the title. A very scary thought came in my mind about Varun's exit for ACHPM 😔 but after reading it, I'm ok 😃

very well said...who is this varun bodla...lol...he is the one and only sandeep babu for me and I don't think that I can picture him in any other show....
