Episode begins with Urmi plucking the petals of a rose and saying 'he loves me, 'he loves me not' for each petal that she plucks.There is one last petal left and she flicks it after saying "He loves me not"....😕
The 4 deewane are in front of RatiRam's shop and are playing caroms. Jugle has to pot the queen. He equates the queen to Urmi and says that whoever can pot the queen will also get Urmi 😃. Rahul begins praying for Jugle to lose and Hari asks Mustaq if he remembers the mantar that the babaji had told them. Rahul, Mustaq and Hari begin chanting the mantar (sher ki khaal, lomdi ka baal, nakaam hojaaye Jugle ki chaal 👏) while Jugle is trying hard to concentrate and pot his queen. At that very moment Urmi comes out from her house with her sitar. Seeing her watching them, Rahul, Hari and Mustaq begin chanting the baba's mantar with renewed vigor 😆. Jugle finally tries to pot the queen when it flys off from the carom board and falls on the ground. Sandip comes there, picks the queen from the ground and tosses it onto the board. The coin falls straight into one of the corner holes of the carom board dashing the 4 deewanes hopes of winning the queen (or Urmi)… 😉👏
Mustaq says that nothing can happen now and he asks the other 3 to stop playing. Jugle asks why, when he still has a second shot left. Mustaq tells him that for Urmi that there is only one real shot. Mustaq seems to be finally getting some sense 😉 and informs the other three that they do not seem to do anything the entire day and because of this Urmi will one day slip from their hands. He says that in the morning they play pithoo, in the afternoon caroms, in the evening they just loiter around and in the night they play cards and drink milk before going off to sleep 😃(what a privileged life these guys have 😊)…At this Jugle exclaims, that now they should not even sleep after doing so many activities 😆…Mustaq aks the others if Urmi fits into any of their activities – caroms, pithoo or cards? Rahul agrees and says that they will try and do whatever Urmi does and thereby have a common connection with her life. He says that the first thing that Urmi does in the morning is …….Hari completes his sentence by saying "wakes up at 8 in the morning". 🤣 Jugle says that they can't wake up so early as it is still dark at 8 in the morning 😃. Mustaq asks whether Jugle has ever woken up so early to know if it dark or if there is light at 8 AM 😆. Rahul then says that she goes to the college to study…at this Jugle says "why can't we…" 😉…….The other 3 ask him not to even think about it…..Hari says then in the evening she practices singing…Rahul says that they have found a way to get a connection to Urmi. He says that if there is no one to help a person, then there is always God to provide support. He asks all of them who the God of their mohalla is? Jugle says "Rose aunty" 🤣? Mustaq says Sandip bhaiya. All 4 look at the direction of Sandip's house.
Urmi is with her sitar in Sandip's house. Sandip is speaking on the phone with babuji and says something about having already seen the girl. Urmi is listening to this keenly and asks Sandip which girl was he referring to have seen….Before Sandip can answer, the 4 deewane burst into his house….They run and fall to his feet and ask him to teach them…..Sandip asks teach what …how to knock on a door 🤣….Rahul says they can learn that also but have mainly come here to learn sangeet…Sandip gives a long sigh and asks whether all 4 want to learn. The 4 deewane nod their heads. Sandip questions what they intend to do after learning it…..Hari indicates towards Urmi and says that they intend to come closer to Sarawati ma 😆…Sandip says to himself that why do all the problems of this mohalla come at his door and on his head only (precisely the answer which all of us want to hear as well…)😉
Panditji is speaking with Gyaniji and the other elders of the mohalla. He says that he had been to Lucknow for a few days to visit a Pandit friend of his. The other elders say that this panditji also had a daughter who was very accomplished. Panditji says yes and that girl's name is Meera. He is trying to get her settled in Colonel Gunj and is looking for her alliance with Sandip 😭. However, Sandip being the person he is, has not yet said anything. Pandit Ji leaves from there. The elders speak amongst themselves and say that they will try and convince Sandip.
Poor Sandip is trying to teach the 4 ghade 🤣 (oops deewane) sangeet…Their sur and taal is pathetic forcing Urmi to close her ears in frustration. Sandip points to the open door when Jugle says that there is no one there and Sandip is making a fool of them 😆. Sandip says that Saraswati Ma has just left from there. Hari again glances at Urmi's direction and says that Saraswati Ma hasa not yet left. 😊 Urmi mentions that she will leave now and asks Sandip to teach his new students. At this, the 4 also get up and say that they will leave as well.
The women are also discussing Sandip's marriage in Sujata's house. All are in agreement that the girl when they had met her earlier on her visit to Colonel Gunj. They decide that Urmi will be able to figure out if Sandip is interested in the girl as she is close to him….(oh papa….why does their brain work overtime…)😕. Urmi arrives just then and Sujata asks her if she remembers the daughter of Panth ji and asks her to find if sandip likes this girl. Urmi recollects that Sandip was also mentioning this girl during his conversation on the phone with Pandit Ji. Urmi questions her mother as to why she was enquiring about this girl. Sujata says that her proposal has come for Sandip. Urmi is shattered to hear this news…
Urmi is going to meet Sandip when the 4 deewane see her and Rahul begins singing "Dil cheez kya hai". Just then Rasik Lal brings some calculations for urmi to perform 😡. Urmi tries to postpone doing those, but her father asks her to complete them at that moment. Rangeela chacha tells Rahul to begin singing on the radio. Rahul is pleased and says that is his singing so good….Rangeela chacha says that atleast he can switch the radio off 🤣….The 4 deewane are trying to impress Urmi with their singing..Jugle says that when he used to go to school, his teachers used to call him Tansen…After hearing his singing, Mustaq tells Jugle that instead of calling him "Tansen", they must have called him "tension" 😛. Jusgle says it doesn't matter, since the spelling is the same 🤣….Urmi on the other hand is in a rush to go and speak with Sandip. Sukha Singhji and Ratiram say that Rangeela used to sing very well and Rasik Lal says that Urmi has learnt sangeet and can figure out Rangeela's singing. Urmi completes the calculations and wants to leave but Rasik Lal asks her to listen to Rangeela's singing. Urmi forcibly stays back…Rangeela begins singing amidst the cheering of others. Hearing the commotion, Sandip also comes out and watches from his terrace. Urmi looks at him with tear filled eyes.😭
She finally manages to escape and rushes into Sandip's house and the first question that she asks is whether a proposal had come for him. Sandip enquires as to who told her. Urmi says that Sandip has hidden such a big thing from her. Sandip says that it was a proposal and that he had not gotten married. Urmi says accusingly that Sandip never mentioned to her that he wanted to get married. Sandip says that he had never asked anyone anything. It was babuji who had asked. Urmi asks what his answer was. He says that he had refused 👏. Urmi asks why did her do that. He says that he does not want to get married now. She asks then when would he like to get married. He says what difference will it make. She says that it would make a difference. Sandip exasperatedly says that whenever both of them speak why is it always about this subject. Urmi questions whether she should not be speaking with him about this subject. Sandip says it will be better if she does not bring this topic again. She directly asks why?👏 He says that because he is not comfortable and he gets tensed with this. Urmi bends her head and says that she is sorry and is on the verge of crying 😭…Sandip feels bad and says that he is making tea and if she will have as well…she says no…he says a new show has started and if she wants to watch it…she says no…he then says that he has 2 tickets for the Plaza and if she will accompany him…she says no…he says ok and begins walking away…Urmi realizes her mistake and quickly says she will surely come…Sandip smiles at her…😳
Rangeela is still singing and says that there is another person in the mohalla who sings well…RatiRam is happy that Rangeela will now mention his name when Rangeela says its Sukha Singh Ji…RatiRam is angry and says that Rangeela should have taken his name as even he has singing aspirations. Sukha Singh ji says that RatiRam can go and compete in Voice of India if he has singing aspirations 😆. Sukha Singh ji and RatiRam begin bickering. Jugle comes with an idea and says that lets have a Voice of Colonel Gunj competition to find the best voice in Colonel Gunj. The 4 deewane want to impress Urmi with their singing.😉
The competition has begin and Sukha Singh ji is trying to host it in his English…The mohalla asks him to speak in Hindi....The judges are babuji, Urmi and Sandip. The 4 deewane give each of the judges a bouquet. Urmi questions Sandip if he feels like giving someone flowers. Sandip says that he will give flowers from his side to the person who sings best in this competition. Urmi feels happy and says that she is the one who sings the best😉 . Sandip says that competition in a person is good but over confidence kills him.
Sukha ji says that there is a surprise and that the Amul Star VOI participants have come to colonel Gunj at his request. Irfan and Sumitra have come to sing the title song ACHPM. The entire mohalla is enjoying and dancing. 👏
Sukha ji calls Gupta ji on stage first…his song is ek pyar ka naghma…he sings in his impeccable style and is dedicated to his wife…Mrs Gupta. An embrassed Mrs. Gupta is blushing 😳. Next is Mustaq…who sings hoga tumse pyaara kaun….his singing was really really bad…Sandip gives him 5, Pandit Ji 7 and Urmi says she likes his singing and gives him good points (could not see how much she gave). Sandip asks Urmi if she has any knowledge about music and where she learnt it from. Urmi retorts back saying she learnt it from him…Sandip exclaims is this what you learnt so far!!😆 Next is our Sunil Shetty – Rahul…who keeps pointing at Urmi and sings….Yeh Ladki mere saamne mera dil liye jaaye 😆….Hai Huku Hai…he is marginally better than Mustaq…Sandip looks at Urmi who does not know how to react at Rahul's line….Urmi gives Rahul 15 points…..Rahul says that Urmi has made him win…Next is Jugle who sings Haiyyo rabba (Daler Mehendi). Chiku is also watching the performance from his house. His mother calls him to sleep but then he wants to watch. He tells his mom that if his father were alive, then they would have sat for the performances. Mother and son sit outside their house to watch the performances. Urmi likes Jugle's performance and gives him 10 while Sandip gives him 6. Sandip is puzzled at urmi's judgement 😛. Next is hari who sings (read shouts here) mere dil mein aaj….Everyone asks him not to sing anymore 😆. Hari says that he will tajke his numbers and asks Sandip not to give him the marks but asks Urmi to give him marks. Sandip says that he will be the one to give him the number and gives him the phone number for a doctor 😆…Next is Saurabh who sings Duniyan mein logon ko (albeit in Bengali)….he gets 10 from Sandip, 12 from Urmi and 8 from Pandit Ji…..It's Zoya's turn who sings Tumhe ho na ho mujhko to itna yakeen hai….Just then she sees Vaibhav and keeps saying nahin hai, nahin hai pyaar nahin hai 😃……She gets 9 from Urmi, 7 from Sandip. Now it is Gyani ji's turn…he sings a nice Punjabi song (not familiar with it)….he gets 10 from Pandit Ji….
Pammi sings kaali teri choti….Jugle begins dancing …she gets 10. Sujata sings a Gujrati song and gets 8 from Sandip (kya Sandip…only 8 for your saasu ma). RatiRam sings main dilli ka halwai…taaza samose khaalo 😆…Sukha ji also wants to sing amdist opposition from RatiRam who says that a host cannot sing…Sukha says host hoga tera dost…why are you behaving like a ghost 🤣….He sings my heart is beating from Julie. He finally asks the Judges to announce the winner…The judges announce the entire Colonel Gunj as winner in Sangeet. Everyone protests and asks for one winner….Sandip asks everyone to quiet down and says the Voice of Colonel Gunj is …..just then they hear the voice of Chiku's mother singing a soothing lullaby for him which leaves all spellbound…Everyone begins clapping for her….Sandip looks at Chiku's mother and says he has always thought people are beautiful because of their eyes. For the first time he has gauged the beauty of a person through the persons singing. Urmi is standing besides him and is a bit hurt at Sandip's comment.
