Decisions: What would you do? Bullying

1. You are walking to school and a gang of older bullies demand your money, phone etc. What do you do?

a) Fight them

B) Give them the things

I firmly believe that all bullies are cowards and they feed on us being coward. The more we fear them the more they get their strength to do wrong things to us so I would never just be bullied.

2. You are on the school playground and someone accidentally trips you up? What do you do?

a) Hit them

b) Cry

c) give them a chnce to say sorry.

If I know that it was an accident then I won't mind even if they don't sorry. Accidents happen and sometimes I accidentally do something wrong too. So that's not a big deal.

3. A gang of bullies get you alone and they start beating you. What do you do?

a) Do nothing - just take it

b) Shout for attentio and try to run

c) Fight back

Depending on the strength and numbers of the bullies I'll either do b or c. If I think I can fight them back then I'd do that. If not I'll try to get attention or run to get someone to deal with them.

4. You are in the school toilet when an older student punches you and tells you not to do anything or "You'll get worse." What do you do?

a) Wait until they leave and then tell a teacher/adult

b) Get into a fight with them

c) Dont tell anyone.

Sometimes there's more you can do than just fight. I think involving an older person is always useful in certain situations like this one. Once an older person knows about it then even that kid would think twice to do anything to me again.

5. Your former "best" friends start to bully you. This hurts your feelings and you are quite miserable. What do you do?

a) Ignore it

b) confide in your friends/parents.

In this case, neither. I would confront them and ask them to mind their own business. If they don't want to be my friends that's alright but they've no right to interfere with my life either.

6. A bully has threatened your little brother. He has begged you not to tell your parents. What do you do?

a) Tell him to handle it

b) Confront the bully

c) Tell your parents

Depending on whether or not my direct interference would work, I'll go b or c. If I think I can handle it well I'll confront the bully myself and ask him/her to stop being a jerk. Otherwise I'll get my parents involved and ask them to deal with it.

7. You see someone being bullied. What do you do?

a) Get help or try to stop the bully yourself without getting Hurt

B) Ignore it, walk past and be thankful it isnt you.

c) Give the bully an approving look so they wont bully you in future.

Again, I think it's always important to fight the bullies even if for others. Because one day they could be after you and then no one would come for your help either. What goes around comes around so never let the bullying go unnoticed and unpunished.
