RR is best in balaji soaps Ekta despite all her faults brings out the best in him. DM is any day preferable to KD in my opinion, didnt care much for adaalat at all. But its early days yet lets wait and watch for what next sat brings. the supporting cast is rather dismal i'm afraid hope they improve somehow 🤔

RR was amazing as KD.. KD is not an inherently 'strong' character as defined by Balaji standards, he's cool and calculated not strong and arrogant as typical BT males :)

Give him a chance.. and the show a chance too :)

Sukhi, I was just gonna mention that as well, coz I'm watching it now. Loved the judges dialogue that this is a court not a fashion show in which u get women to walk the ramp. 🤣

About Siddhant, I've heard of it and it still airs on Star One in the UK but I've never bothered to watch it.. It doesn't appeal to me to tell u the truth. The only reason I'm watching this is coz RR is the lead otherwise I would be watching something else.

but the best part here is, Ronit IS the show for many of us ;)

you know what I mean..

and that's why I am glad that RR has not disappointed in the role..

he has reinvented his style, his tone, his expressions, everything

for KD.. and I am *so* happy about that!

RR said that the later episodes are better than this one and stated

this one as strictly ok.. he knows the team messed up a little :P

Adaalat just needs strong plots..

then it shall rock! :D

Oh, I thought u meant the part with the women walking up to him. Just loved the Judge's dialogue. Also if this was a Balaji show one of the women would have definitely fallen over KD.

I wonder if they will show a romance between Maya and KD.

Did u notice the old Rishabh from Bandini? Didn't look that nice here coz of the extra curly hair. 😆

even I felt that the 'procedure' that the lawyers use in court was not illustrated and followed.. it seemed informal, the entire proceeding, looked like there was no not enough research done..

About Ronit, well maybe in the next episode, his character appeals to

people because his main funda behind the role was that he was a very

unconventional lawyer.. the actress playing Maya is good, no doubt about that..

All said and done,

miles away from what Siddhant was but then again, I don't think this

show is meant to be another Siddhant... Siddhant was a brilliant show

with a lot of angles, and had continuity.. in Adaalat, every case has to be finished in that very episode..atleast that's what the synopsis said.. so Siddhant >> Adaalat anytime, I just thought the 'deviation' from the normal lawyer thingy was very cool.. it's like based on the Perry Mason character that we all love :D

Yes, I never said that he was bad, I meant that he wasn't as spirited as the typical judge, but hey, again this is the first episode. He already has the looks going for him, let's hope for the best...

Sorry, I was comparing it with Siddhanth a bit too much😆 Prolly because these are the only 2 shows of this genre ever made in Indian TV. And no, Siddhanth transformed into the one case per episode show after a while. Too bad it shut down. But anyways, I'm glad that they have made a similar show, just need to get used to it. Not sure about Perry Mason, but yes, it certainly looks like L&O: SVU minus the cops.

Another thing: Is the actoress playing the public prosecutor gonna be the plantiff everytime...because that would be strange😆

Now if you'll excuse me, I shall go see what blunders the CID PT made this time around...
