I think the show is still on track. How else you could have had imagined a transition? Sorry, I'm not writing this to hurt anybody but just my own opinion. You bear your own right to go against or agreeing on my statements.
Some points I think are valid:
1. I have read people once were demanding the show to go on like American shows in terms of using real antara and showing her growing as the show progresses. Now, I read one person saying a show should only go for few weeks so that they don't loose its magic touch and remain in our hearts.
2. I know its really hurting to see Vidya blaming Antara. But she's not blaming for all what happened, but to be honest if you look it in a way it does kind of make sense what she said. Aditya might not have needed loan if he wasn't using the money for Antara's expensive therapies and even using the money from Abhishek's FD. Vidya's exact words were " sometimes it leads me to beleive how our lives would have been if Antara hasn't been there." She can't blame Aarti because she was already a member of the house and Antara was a later addition to the family. (Sorry if I'm offending any of the loving viewers)
3. PLEASE BE PATIENT (skeptical , I know we are all not saints, but SABBAR KA FAL MEETHA BHI TO HOTA HAI. LOL). We have only just seen 2 episodes of the leap. I'm sooooo dead sure that creatives have some WONDERFUL scenes coming up to show how antara has grown up into "really understanding albeit not really saying anything" sweet little girl. And ANTARA HERSELF will be the one to bring Vidya back to her normal self. Just wait and watch, the show is gonna be amazing after few more boring episodes. And if it still didn't attract anybody, even I would stop watching the show. But we need to give it "just" a little more time and stop being melodramatic ourselves rather than calling show a melodrama.
4. Someone was saying ' the show is loosing focus and it should be on autism not the family drama.' I'm exremely sorry to intervene, but I myself have worked in the psychiatric department in New York for the past 3 years and I have been working with Autistic kids myself. If we are expecting a CURE to autism in this show, PLEASE don't expect it and I know its hurting and sad to know this. Autistic kids are never cured but they do learn a lot! and it REALLY DOES take time. So they had to show a leap and can't be showing progress in a matter of days. So, they had to switch their focus back and forth from FAMILY TO AUTISM and AUTISM TO FAMILY. Wouldn't it be nice to know the MISTAKES of the families and then realize that if anyone of us are lucky to have this special kid, what we are suppose to do and what not???? it might be an indirect way to learn about families bearing autistic kid but it certainly is a way of learning about autism.
Sorry if I wasted anybody's time and it makes sense somehow.
Message to Mohnish --> Please don't let us down. I'm sure you have a wonderful script after these few, I m not gonna call them boring, but transition episodes.
Thanks for your time everybody.
