Aditya is a father. He loves her daughter Antara. But he is very shaky when people want to know her identity. He hesitates to tell that she is his daughter and that she is autistic. I think as a father he is very helpless and can't face the world with the bitter truth. How can ANTARA grow and face this hard reality with such a weak father?

Under the circumstances, Aditya is coping very well. It is totally understandable that he may be hesitant to tell people of Antara's true identity & the fact that she is autistic - this simply could be because he is trying to protect her from being humiliated.

For example, when Tayji learnt that Antara is "adopted", she totally flipped out, demanding that Antara be kept away from her as Antara is "impure", she wanted to "cleanse" herself with cow urine! I know this is an extreme case. Aditya is also trying to ensure Aarti's happiness by not telling her future in-laws the whole truth about Antara.
In my honest opinion, I think he is a fantastic parent & brother...he works two jobs to earn enough money to pay for Antara's treatment. All said & done, he is doing his utmost under such difficult circumstances.

Before being a father he is also a brother & husband too.He has to manage all responsibilities including the one that of her autistic daughter. He could have simply disowned Antara but he did n't. Managing so many things making him shaky and I think these situations will make him more stronger.

Aditya is never ashamed of calling Antara his daughter, the only thing he is hesitant about telling is that she is autistic because ppl are unaware about autism & would call her by names such as pagal etc,so being a father he will not be able to tolerate.

Adtiya is proud that Antara is his daughter, and he wants to tell everyone that she has autism and educate them. It's just that people like the thai-ji or Sameer's dad do not care and will just label her as "pagal" like Mrs. Gupta did. That's why he doesn't tell them about autism.

For Me Aditya is undoubtedtly a Gr8 father...and to some extent Best also...
i cant say completely best one...as no one in this world can be The Best...
every one has his own Strengths and Weakness....
So is Aditya best coz..he accepted Antara...eventhogh he had chance to let her go...but not... at that he was Best....
After that he had the courage to tell the truth to Vidya...(we should have that courage to accept our mistakes and be ready to face its consequences)...again the Best One...
Only weakness he has is he cant accept that her daughter is Autistic....which is normal to me...
As each and every father in this world have something called so much belief in their child that their Child will achieve in future wtever they could not...
So this is the feeling which is not allowing his mind to accept that her child can achieve something axtra ordinary in Life...and so he cant accept in public that Antara is Not Normal...so here he is not Best but trying his Best to make Antara achive something in Life by being with her always...

Antara is a darling despite her autism. Parents love should be without any kind of hesitation. My colleague cooly says, 'my child is autistic and please respect her as he is' and we have no problem. The child is among us and have no problem. I think most people are normal and they don't make a big fuss if they find a child somewhat not 'normal' like us. All u need is to have the guts to face reality and tell the truth.
