I was reading so many posts put up by long time fans of the show and contributors to this forum, share everybody's feelings about Rashdeep.
Just few points
Sameer Merchant character is obviously going to be very imp part of the show, otherwise they would not have given him so much screen time. They are showing his entire life story in front of us. I think it is not useless cos there are bound to be lot of references to the story later. (as were in 2612)
I don't think Musa, Parekh, Colllege stories were imp part of show at all. They were more there just to show Randeep, Vi, Rashmi active. They never gave their characters lot of build-up or background info.
Randeep has never acted foolishly - he always waits and watches and then comes to conclusion. He trusted Shahana at one time and then came to realise about her based on his analysis. He might just be trying to understand what Swami is upto. They have still kept it a mystery why after refusing to work with Swami he suddenly agrees to.
I am not sure why they are showing Rashmi like this. They are totally contradicting her character from what they showed in 2612. I am hoping it is just a plan of Randeep to make her go along to see what Swami is upto. However, the pre-cap was disturbing. If they are really showing her like that then it is end of Rashdeep as we know.
No matter what anybody says if there is no trust and if she can't stand by the side of person she loves, is about to marry and who stood with her against the world, then she is just a shallow selfish arrogant person. Totally against what we saw in 2612. It makes Randeep's love for her somehow less, cos he did not understand the type of person she is - then it goes against his character.
So I am so hoping that they show this week why they are doing all this. I am hoping everybody of us are wrong and as their reasons are shown we change our opinions about 2613 what we feel now.
I am glad they are going to kill Vi maybe that is the shock Rashmi needs to open her eyes.
