he doesnt want his wife ( he still considers her as his wife) to get into deep trouble , if she is punished kabir will have to suffer and this concern has resurfaced which means he was equally concerned before divorce, may be there was some ego clash and mallik was oriented towards Jai inspite of sid being an equally efficient cop

we are all used to family drama ( daily soaps) so more interested in miabiwi scenes in a thriller show 😆

I find Saigal's character most complex to comprehend as of now..and yes it superbly played by Harsh Chhaya, his entry has certainly spiced up things at the ATU..adding different layers to Mallick's character..and their scenes have become a highlight.

But saigal seems v complex.

On the surface as of now he comes across as very clinical and cold to me.

Whether he cared for mallick..am unsure.yes he did stop PM frm venting out.

But it could be out of practical reasons.

The ATU had actually left no choice for the PM and others but to comply with the plan.

He only brought in that aspect,pointing out what could be done further and it being the best opportunity tpo neutralized virus.

As of now, saigal has not shown any qualities who would give importance to any personal relationships.And this has been Malick's angst against her ex-husband, which she has v v strongly expressed it out.

There are few instances which show saigal being v clincial in apporach whch is duty at any cost:

1)when he is talking on phone referring to vedant -'woh marr nahi gaya sirf kandhe par goli lagi hai"

2) when he calls Veer over to ATU disregarding veer's sisters situation, veer had said kiran is in some sort of trouble..

Saigal is least bothered as far as the personal HUMAN equations go.

Not saying he is entirely cold.i am sure he does have this deep soft core which may come forth as the story goes ahead.

He did show a very deep concern for the lives of the delta team which were at stake and was visibly very disturbed.

As his equation with shibani goes..he comes across mighty upset with her (AS of now) coz

1.she idolizes Jai and gives him the uncondtional support at the cost of breaking the protocols(saigal comes across as a sucker for protocols and seems to detest jai and his ways)

2.there seem to be lots of differences between him and shibani regarding both personal and professional ethics

3.and it seems as a husband he expected shibani to follow his rules and ways and be an 'obedient wife'.shibani had a mind of her own and seems saigal is miffed coz of her rebel behavior

Whether he still has that care for his ex-wife and his special child is yet to be seen and coming episodes may reveal that .

Shibani is very vocal about her feelings and I absolutely loved it 😳

She longs for him, she wants him to ask about Kabeer, care for him but he has not done anything and more over he have never asked about his health issues to her which is evident from her outburst

Her only problem with Sid is he do not care for him family, May be She wanted Sid to make her feel wanted in his life, or make it evident that he does care for her, love her, worry for her but he was not vocal about it in past too

This makes me think Shibani does have feelings for him-either in form of hurt, anger or hatred but he does matter to her, he still effect her, his taunts still effects her and hurts her, whenever he puts her down her eyes goes moist

coming to Saigal, It is clear that he jealous of Jai not because Jai is brilliant officer but because his wife trusts and supports Jai more than him, His ex-wife have high regards for Jai but not for him and wherever there is jealousy, there are some feelings 😳

Saigal's character is still not opened, he is complex personality...all that he cares for is following rules, protocols and that's it

he is emotionally void and never expresses his feelings and emotions and always avoids the topic/ conversation of personal equations

Shibani have suppressed her anger on Sid for too long and now that he is infront of her she cannot hold it any longer and vents it out at any given opportunity

lets Sid character open up or unfold a little more and let makers cast some light on Sid-Shibani equations then we will get a bit clear picture

Yes shibani is taunting him...but are those taunts coz she still longs for him or just pure anger towards him for leaving her and the kid in a lurch to fend for themselves..

For even in any couples case who is seperated..responibilites for their kids and love nvr goes..

And if saigal is tottally indifferent towards kabir..it is natural that shibani is still angry

Note it is saigals 'not so nice' comments towards shibani that has been a trigger for those taunts..

Saigal misreading her loyality to jai as a 'romantic liasion' thats when she retaliates how a person like u can ever understand..

She has not gone and approached saigal on her own.

Yes saigal does not like jai..and maybw jealous. True.but is it coz of his surpressed love fr shibani..or his dented male ego..that his wife(now ex) does not follow him and regards jai on a higher pedstal?

What i felt was his expections of shibani to silently follow orders and him comparing it to what went wrong in their marriage..suggestively blaming her ..has effected shibani. And him now being her boss has her hands tied.

Those slightly teary eyes cld be coz of tht too..she had same eyes when the war council was upset with atu. sakshi is a v expressive acror and her eyes speak.

So it cld be mere helplessness on shibanis part that she has to unwillingly comply his orders ...

Coz saigals quote 'mere rules follow nahi kiye' regarding their marriage were indeed hurtful..any free thinking independent woman wld be offended.

Here saigal behaved as if husband is the 'boss' in a marriage and all wife has to do is to abide by the boss husband.

Shibani was helpless and cld not retailiate and was forced reply to saigals 'commands' ..

Though she doea let herself loose and gives it back to him at times..

Am sure there wld be some thawing between saigal-mallick..

As of now everything is very grey as far as love and care goes.

saigal loves instigating her and i am sure the reason behind their marriage not working wud be their egos, they are two strong headed personalities-one wants other to bow down and other is adamant on not bowing

their equation is very confusing and this makes it more intriguing

Sid has cloak around his emotions, heart infact he has cloaked his personality, he appears very mechanical...we wud get to know him only if he drops his hide-out

I totally agree with you. There is more to the Siddharth and Shivani angle than meets the eye. Their 'romantic' fights are getting too much of footage. They are in a professional setting, but half the time they are only settling their personal issues, indirectly.

Be it Shivani taunting Siddharth saying he doesn't think about family but she does, etc. Both of them are killing it with their acting.
