Mili's friend tells Manju about Rajiv Bhalla's arrest.

Manju is completely shattered hearing all this. She is devastated.

Rajinder Sethi calls home and asks Manju to come to the shop. Mili hopes at least now her mom will tell everything to her dad.

Manju goes to her husband's shop… Rajinder excitedly shows her all the new saris stock. Ask her to select saris for both Simi n Anita.

Manju tries her best to be normal…She says she needs to talk to him about something important. But, before she sais anything, Rajinder's friend who brought rajiv's rishta comes there. Rajinder n his friend talk about the marriage, and thank god for everything.

Mili walks into the shop…Rajinder is surprised to see her there at that time, asks her why she didn't go to her college.

Manju becomes nervous seeing Mili…She tells her husband she only asked Mili to come with her to some jeweler shop. She takes leave from her husband.

Mili n Manju leave…Once away from the shop, Mili eagerly asks her mom whther she had told everything to the father. Manju says she had never hidden anything from her father till now. Mili asks her mom then why she is hiding such a big thing from him.

Manju asks Mili for Rajiv's house address. She calls for an auto…she tells Mili that she wants to go there alone, and tells Mili to go home.

On the way she sees a big crowd, which is beating up a boy. Auto driver too gets down and participates in tat.

The boy runs away from everybody…auto driver comes back . Manju asks him why they are hitting that boy so badly…what if he gets killed.

He says he misbehaved with a girl..that's y she should be punished. He asks Manu she wouldn't do the same thing if that girl is her own daughter.

Manju becomes quiet doesn't know what to say.…

Manju reaches Rajiv's house. A maid announces her arrival to Rajiv's mom. She gets irritated ..She curses Manju for coming to their house without any prior notice. But she hides her feelings…invites manju inside with a smiling face. Asks her what brought her there.

Manju tells her that she had heard certain things about Rajiv…that's why she came there to talk to her and to get some clarification.

Rajiv's mom gets furious…but acts as if she is normal. She tells Manju that Rajiv is basically a very good guy…He somewhat spoilt a little because there is no father figure in the house. And also tells Manju that whatever happened its just becoz of his friends…who forced him.

She says that's why she wants a Simi like bahu who can control Rajiv and change him.

Manju gets relieved hearing all this. She tells Rajiv's mother that she is happy she came there. She takes leave.

Rajiv's mom is still very furious…She storms into rajiv's room .. she tells him tat Simi's mom was there and she was enquiring about him. She says its just because of him, she said yes to the match.

Rajiv tells her he loves simi ji a lot…and he cannot marry anybody else.

His mom asks him to change if he really wants to get married to her…She says how dare manju is point a finger at Rajiv.. as if her own kids have never done anything wrong.

She tells rajiv that she will find a way …so that she can point her finger at Manju's kids.

She tells him that she has to find a way… Rajiv promises his mom that he will do whatever she says.

Manju comes back home… sees Simi in the kitchen, who is standing near the stove and thinking. She asks her daughter to make some tea for her.

Mili comes there…and asks her mom whther she broke the rishta or not.

Manju says its easy to break a rishta . n she didn't go to Rajiv's place with that intention at all. She says she went there just to see how much love Simi will get in that house.

She repeats everything what Rajiv's mom told her about Rajiv. ..how he got used to some bad habits. She tells Simi that she can change him after the marriage.

Mili n Nitu are shocked listening to their mom…they thought expected their mom to break the rishta.

Manju tells Simi to decide…Says, if she really doesn't want to get married to Rajiv then she will go her father and tell all the truth. She also says, they have already done engagement…If the rishta breaks now, what will everybody say… how can they face their neighbourhood.

In a way she emotionally blackmails her daughter…

Simi had little hope that her mom will surely say no to marriage after knowing the truth…but she dint…which made her even sadder. She just manages to smile…n gives the tea to her mom.

Rajiv goes to a mall…and searching for someone. He thinks her mom's info cannot be wrong. Finally he spots Anuj. He goes to him and says hello asks him what is he doing there…Anuj says he came there for some shopping with anita. Rajiv hands over some discount coupons to Anuj and ask him to give them to Simi.

He then invites him to a bar the next day…He says he should talk to him know more about his sister Simi, her likes and dislikes.

Anuj is not comfortable…he tries his best to say that he cannot. But Rajiv makes him say yes.

He leaves anuj n anita.. calls his mom n informs her that her information is turned out to be correct..and he met Anuj in the mall. He tells her that he will do exactly what she asked him to do.
