Neil & Shakti: The one take wonders
After winning the second season of Zee TV's Dance India Dance, Shakti Mohan has become a household name with her dancing skills having taken the entire country by storm. So... it comes as no surprise when one hears that she has set the stage on fire with her electrifying performance. The entire crew of Ram Milaayi Jodi, however, was in for one BIG surprise when they were shooting with Shakti & Neil Bhatt (Abhinav of Karol Baug) for the special episode where they were to perform a Punjabi medley choreographed for Mona's Roka.
With tracks like 'Ahun Ahun' (of Love Aaj Kal) & Gal Mitthi Mitthi Bol (of Aisha), it was bound to be one awesome act. But when Shakti & Neil took the stage and rocked on all three songs, the crew could do little else but stop & stare.
"Once the music was on, there was no looking back for the two of them. They were so well prepared with their performance that we did not even have to ask them for a re-take or take a break. It was 6 minutes of flawlessly brilliant dancing!" said a source from the sets. After hearing all of the praises being sung about them, we just can't wait to see them in action!!
With the festive season celebrations on in full swing at the Gandhi & Bedi households, Mona's family decides to double the festivities by fixing Mona's marriage to Goldie and decide to have the Roka too. Though Mona agrees out of fear, she's not sure if she likes the suave, charming Goldie or the reticent, serious Anukalp. When the heart knows not what it wants, it often leads to regrets in the future. Poor Mona is in a spot with her father desperate to marry her off! Not wanting to be a disappoint Daddy dearest, Mona chooses Goldie as her heart continues to be unsure of her affection for Anukalp.
