Abhi gets thrown under a bus

Here is how the writers will plan this out for us to watch...
When it is revealed that Mili fancies Abhi, Abhi will be blamed and he will even TAKE the blame. He will take responsibility of his open friendship as having lead Mili on. He will apologize to the family at great lengths for his behavior. He will fall at the feet of the whole family while Manju and Neetu taunt and belitte him for his actions. RS will be disappointed and Simi will scold him for his actions.
To make matters worse Anuj and Anita will also have a go at him.
Simi will round off the whiping session by reminding him that he is a "bachcha" and that he needs to behave in a mature manner. She will question his love for her and then he will be required to electrocute himself and fight of a few more bad guys and rescue the Seethis from another mess up for their (usually something to do with Anuj) creation before they accept him again. Manju will be warm and welcoming for a month until she realizes Anuj is not at the house and then go back to demeaning him again
In the meantime Abhi will continue with the run-of-the-mill dialogue that he is going to win the family over with his goodness. We will groan and moan and some of us will beg that the writers have him leave 12/24 and Simi. However, the fears of a handful of members here who cannot bear the sight of Abhi and Simi separated in case they might not get back together, will not make this storyline possible.
Trust is the foundation of all relationships and Abhi has done NOTHING wrong, but since the writers either don't like Abhi or Neil Bhatt, his character will once again be dragged into the mud. I am not optimistic with the main writers (one of them used to write for Ekta Kapoor) to show Abhi in a good light; the last time we thought Abhi was standing up for himself, they degraded his character and turned him into a strake raving lunatic. Then to add fuel to the fire, they had him apologize to Simi for what he did which further justified the wrong Simi did by keeping RB proposition to her a secret.
So there you go. Nothing new. These guys just recyle the same rubbish to us as if we have forgotten the whole show...Shame. But as one of them wrote to me, "like films these serials are also far from reality we try to make them as real as possible but its not possible to go through all logics and then make a serial" which means they are NOT able to add reality to the show or take the time out to make anything logical. Moreover as someone told me this writer wrote on her FB page that "Indian TV is c #$%* and far from reality."
You people are optimistic for things to change when the very writer of this show is clearly laughing at her own audience. Wake up, this show is going to stay this way. I watch it not because I am optimistic but because I want to see how far they will go with this story - plus let's face it we all LOVED Simi and Abhi and like a fool, I still have a *bit* of unrealistic hope things might change, but that's not strong enough for me go into a state of denial regarding what I see.

I watch this show only for Neil-Smiriti.If they are not here then I stopped watching it long ago.Sometimes I thought to quit but can't do it only because of my fav. actors.

And talking about the writers,I don't expect anything from them.Nothing will happen here.

even iam watching the show just bcoz of abhi /neil and simi/smriti the loveliest couple , as far expecting from cv's which i lost when simi told to abhi "mujhe haan karna pada tum toh to neetu ki halat jante ho na aur mein kya karti" being a married women how could she think of such stupid thing still not understood .

i was happy abhi married simi by breaking all the barriers of this so called values of society.and hope of light came that these guys will make thier way and live happily and prove all of them wrong . but no after the night coversation b/w abhi and simi in dabha .
that was the end .
as far this angle of story it is good and it has to be in this marriage ,but i was looking forward for simi's turn to prove her love for her love, husband, mera sabkuch . "magar simi ji ke jaan's ke agge sabkuch kuch bhi nahi hai " and every time making abhi as fool is absolute nonsense .till the date abhi was never wrong but accepting this ghar jamai was foolishness of abhi.
but when one is willing to be thrown under the bus who can help him. god only knows.

His character is like a ping pong ball always tossed around
They did it with Simi earlier they got her in some track now Abhi is the target and he is unnecessarily being tossed around for what story line masala gossips etc !!!

I would never discourage anyone from watching the show - I still watch it even after multiple let downs with how they have written the characters and formed the storyline. I have watched KB since it's very first episode and credit it as the show that introduced me to Indian television. Compared to many shows on television it is very well made. I believe it could be better if the writers paid attention to the needs of their viewers who expect more.
However, if we accept every premise in the show because we know the characters will not change and cannot handle the truth out of fear it hurts, then we will stop demanding for a change in the storyline.
This time we do NOT want to see Abhi have to apologize for his actions. We don't want to see him wrong or be wronged. We're tired. And they need to work on making Simi the likeable character she once was during the start of the program and that means showing us that she cares about her husband. We've no sympathy for her "confused" state of affairs.
I was also appalled that she was crying because she was angry about questioning Mili's possibilty of liking Abhi, but did she not feel ashamed when she questioned Abhi's or her whole family questioned him? Disgusting beyond belief. Truly these writers are not creating a character worth liking but disliking all the more and no actress in the part of Simi can salvage this gawd forsaken poor writing.

Funny. I hope they don't have Abhi engage in another sword fight. However, keep hope alive because it can't get any worse. BTW, did you sign the petition to keep the show on the air? I had no idea it was in jeopardy of being cancelled.

It was just on hopes that i have survived this long journey of watching Abhi and Simi together. A once lovable and likeable character SIMI. Each and every time she has insulted Abhi's love, I really hoped that its her prioroities to her family and a tyrannical mother like Manju taunting her that Simi remained in a confused state of mind. I truly believed that there is some reason as to why Simi is shown this way. Each episode, each time I looked for a change in her attitude towards Abhi. So many who have been in this forum from the start know how much I liked Simi and tried to make peace with my worries as to when I can see a Simi appreciating Abhi.
I dont divulge into the past about my expectations from the writers for Simi, but after todays precap scene, all my hopes have been laid to rest beyond resuscitation.
And Laila knows why I have specifically chosen this thread to post my comment.
This is for the character that I so dearly held close to my heart
