Omg... it was with the similar type of issue(Older woman marrying a younger man) BUT Nothing is even closer except names of the main characters-Simran n Abhi..... Astitva was one of the fantastic dramas ever made and Karol Bagh is Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Unrealistic!!

Just look at Anusha! A mother whose only Son's marrying a woman much older than him has No Expression on her face?! and funny thing is that CHARACTERS IN KAROL BAGH Girgit sey bhi teyzz rang Badalte hain😲{Characters in Karol Baagh CHANGE COLORS FASTER THAN CHAMELEON} ManjuJi started behaving with Abhi very nicely in just a few minutes and she was feeding Abhi so lovingly
but the very next day she's again against Abhi-Simmi's relation....WHAT's GOING ON????????????I guess the Creatives themselves have no Clue of the storyline and they're wrting a New story every day!!
And Yes,in Metropolitan Cities Neighbours don't even care for what's going on next door....let alone throwing stones! Is this Taliban Rule or what😆😛?????????What an Impractical thing to show!!😲
And What's up with this Cunning Bhabhi in ALL the Serials..huh???????????? No fresh creative ideas, same borrrrrrrrrrrrrrring old plot?!👎🏼
IF I compare the acting,The Storyline, the screenplay, songs, the direction....nothing is even close to the Standard of Astitva,Ek prem kahani!! ZEE,Please give us PRACTICAL dramas like Astitva!

I agree, the characters changes overnight. You don't know where they stand on any issue and they are either one extreme or the other. Never do they respond to the situation. It's really silly. There is no consistency; even the neighbors suddenly forget Sweetie who got divorced because they guy whom she married was 10 years older than her. How come no-one got ugly with Sweetie but with Simi they've gone so far as to declare war on the whole family? It's awfully confusing.
My guess is Anusha might have a hidden card up her sleeve. She knows Abhi will marry Simi but what she wants to do is to make sure that she can keep an eye on Simi. You never know with her.

Asititva also had a lot of tension with older women and younger man and the other after marriage affair and all those pblms..Itindeed was an awesome show

Here Abhi has always been shown very mature and practical sensible and wants people to realize what Simi wants in her life as she herself will not say it as RS gave examples of her accomplishments and this guy has been from the very start consistent ( hopefully they won't swing his character 360 degrees) and he has a proper mind set in what he wants to do and Manju is just not able to think abt that and she is soo bothered abt what people will say !!

Parents would show a bit of support when their children need them and when both are there and one of the parent is assuring that he has full confidence in the boy then the other should give the support too !

I think we don't realize there is a lot of stigma attached to such relationships. We're so in favor of it we forget the troubles that exist and the narrowmindness of people out there. I mean we're all in favor of the Abhi-Simi jodi but would we be equally in favor if Abhi was our brother or Simi our sister? Let's me honest, we'd all have some reservations and there would be people in the community who would be ugly about it.

u r very true laila. if there v was such a relation ship in our family v would have opposed.to such a rerlation.

wohooo tht was the height of melodrama...i mean how does anyone even care tht ur neughbours or maybe some girl from some other lane of ur area is getting married to a younger guy????how does it affect them??tht was such a stupid scene...i mean it was height of stupidity..meaningless scenes...i mean ok fine i agree tht ppl do talk abt such things..they gossip..bt ths it it ends there...i have never seen anyone even passing comments on the girl if she walks on the road..bt tht was shown on KB..ok i was ready to accept tht..bt yestd it was limit.it doesnt happen anywhere...ppl dnt leave their work and come out & start behaving like hooligans and start throwing stone and banging door of some respectable family.thts ridiculuous...it was so artifical..i didnt accept to see this in KB..i am happy tht simi is standing strong as seen in the promo.. bt all tht drama is very difficult to digest..especially tht 2 ladies..for god sake dnt they havetheir own children and husband to look after???bas jab dekho lipstick lagakar aa jaati hai chalte hue inke ghar aur aakal blabber karne lagti hai..how do u even entertain such ppl?? u shld throw them out immediately....
i am really disgusted after seeing yestd episodes..no one does like tht...ppl have lots of other things to do thn protest outside each and every house where a girl is marrying outside caste or to a guy younger thn her...plssssssssssss creatives dnt ever show such dumb scenes to us.....humble request.. 😊

Laila what you wrote is very true. I know this is telly land and so therefore it is make believe but I actually know of a couple where the boy was 22 and the girl was 36 and they fell in love and married much to the heartache of his mother and she was a divorced mum. His grandparents were devistated. I didn't think that they were going to pull through the heartache. They have been together for a while and have 2 beautiful children together but I can assure you it was very difficult. The comments and the remarks that was said behind their backs were ongoing for quite a while. My background in not indian it is italian and so was the couples that I have mentioned but believe me it is no different to indian society. Although there were no stones thrown which was absolutely ridiculous and I am so disgusted that they would even portray indian society to be like that, things were very tense in the beginning but everyone now has accepted it and moved on. You cannot pick who you fall in love with it just happens. I cannot say what I would do if my sister or my brother were in Abhis or Simis shoes. I don't think anyone can say unless you are in that situation.

Myself I say clearly so I would not say anything if he is happy with it and vice versa I would not be against.

I saw the man 50 years marry a woman 25 years that my step offend just I am tell me it could be her father but is like then why against?

Love has no age if the soul of one and the other are mature enough to withstand the gossip and well either.

This is a subject I discuterais never get me being give I out with a younger than me boy then why do the reluctance to is subject I am honest I am not against but not the all as soon as they are happy I no more requests.

TAS- I agree100% even that Scene was a very unrealistic one when Simmi refused to marry Rajeev and passres by were passing comments on her! THat reeeeeeeeeally doesn't happen in Big Cities as No body has interest or time tto interfere in other people's lives!!
And yes LAILA- I would've Opposed if Abhi was my brother or simmi was my Sister.....I would've explained Simmi not to get carried away with recent experiences and get married to a much younger guy but Think of it with more matured thinking about the future consequences that are possible!
I've alwayyyyyyyyyyyyyyys maintained the same point that I really do not support such Odd relationships ...... Anyways......ASTITVA,EK PREM KAHANI though dealt with such a relationship of an older woman with a younger man,it was made in Succccccccccch a beleivable manner, neither of Abhi or Simran's parents were happy about their alliance and there was Such wonderful acting like how people are really expected to behave👍🏼..... And here Anusha's smiling n come with Roka without Abhi doing a Lot of Hungama.... rajinder seems to be Overjoyed that his daughter's marrying a guy younger than her though They had Nakul's alliance ready....😲 I mean are these characters very beleivable..???????
That's why I Compare it with Karol Bagh and feel frustrated😭
