bewajah,
LOL, Laila was referring Nakul as the guy! not Abhi!!!!

and Laila,
I too can speak for myself and no, I have no hots for the guy and neither do I want him anywhere near Abhi or Simi! No bhaiyya-whaiyya business ... Let Abhi and Simi deal with their problems together I do not want any mediator.
In some other post, I liked what ramas, had written - "Abhi will not let Simi sacrifice herself!" (or something along those lines) Thats like a confident Abhi for me! I want that! Simi needs some stuff driven into her head and yes, since she doesn't have anyone to confide, Abhi needs to do that job for me to Simi!

...and as far as the Abhi Simi romance goes, right at this moment, I have no clue, I am in state of confusion!
I posted my views in a different thread. Here I would have to give that same answer and see if anyone can answer that for me.... Here is the link - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/26437445

From today's episode(Simi in deep thought at the entrance of her house in the night) and from the precap, Simi is going in the sacrifice path again ...actually I am supposed to be calm because at the back of my mind I know what Guruji had told - He(Abhi) is going to be her support (that means life-partner to me) and also that the path to the destination is difficult and a long one, but I am still getting jitters!

I cannot believe it, why does everyone feel the need for a mediator or for Nukul to play cupid. I have asked people here what purpose it serves and the answer is that Abhi and Simi need someone to bring them together. The need for someone to bring them together suggests they are perfectly incapable of doing it themselves.
Here's what should happen:
Simi goes out with Nukul tomorrow. Nukul tells Abhi that he went out with Simi and she was the one who arranged the date. He adds that she denies she has any feelings for him and sees him like a child. Abhi knows that she lied on purpose but has mixed feelings about it. Still, he wonders why did she (Simi) want to meet with Nukul. He calls her and she does not tell him that they met, he asks her if she has met Nukul or plans on it. Simi lies to him and says she has not met Nukul yet. Abhi's suspicions are raised and he politely confronts Simi with the truth - Nukul told him they went out today. Simi is silent on the phone; she does not know how to get herself out of this mess.
Abhi questions her need to have deceived him and meet with Nukul. Did she need to go with him because it sounded like from Nukul she pushed this date. Simi said she was not alone and Neetu was with her but for Abhi, this is not enough. Abhi needs to know why she felt the need to go out with Nukul. Simi wants to tell Abhi that she needed to get Neetu out of seeing the doctor with her mother and this was the perfect excuse but in doing so, she would have to tell him Neetu was pregnant.
Simi is at a loss for words. Abhi gets upset and tells Simi, he is disappointed in her lack of commitment to their relationship. He does not know now where he stands but it seems like Simi wants the best of both worlds - a bachcha with a crush on her whom she can keep dangling and a suitor, her age with money. He tells her that he really can't compete with Nukul and understands her predicaments so he will let her go and she's free to marry him. He then hangs up on her.
Simi tries to call back but Abhi refuses to pick up the phone. He's had enough. He still wants to get the shop back for RS, but now he doesn't want anything from him. He just wants to help out RS because he is a good man in a bad situation.
I think until we see Simi do some hard work to win back Abhi, I will no longer have any likening of her character.

somebody forgot to do the math, innit? clearly the difference between 22 and 29 is not 8 yrs...
i think we should admit they botched this bit bad!
( I refuse to address Simi as old! .. which she is anything but) .. 😡
yes, the 22 year old they have playing this girl of nearly 30 yrs (is that better? 😊) might have some adult acne issues (or are they all just breaking out becasue of the horrendous make-up...Anita's skin is no better really!)... but she sure does not have the first signs of aging issues (fine lines, dull skin, first few wrinkles, and horror of all horrors the first grey in the hair) a woman that age would , especially one who goes out into the harsh elements everyday...

OK, as the days progress and Simi and Abhi have to deal with drama in their home, Simi has to progress with her new beau Nukul, and Abhi continues to try to win Simi over by trying to win back her father's shop, exactly where did the Simi - Abhi romance go? They don't even have a conversation with them talking. If you have a boyfriend, you call them on the phone and talk to them. We don't even have them talking about what happened with Anuj and the FD. The last we saw Simi hung up on Abhi.

Which moron is writing their love story? Clearly its someone who has never been in a relationship or has any concept of them. The way the storyline is going, if Simi and Abhi never meet again, I won't feel at a loss. I have lost all interest in their love story. The miserably boring song on Monday's episode with Abhi drinking coffee and Simi staring at the boling tea pretending to miss Abhi didn't offer me anything.
I really hope Abhi finds someone else. It will be such an interesting moment; he really deserves someone better than Simi. I have totally lost any interest or compassion for her character. Her continually taking of insults from everyone and her spinelessness translated as being a "good person" is getting mudane.
Now we will be graced tomorrow with the Nukul and Simi date with Nukul revealing that he thinks Abhi likes her. Abhi was an idiot to have shown the wrong picture. Simi is will hopefully be smart and play dumb (she's good at that).
Then what? All you readers will be graced with the most uninventive storyline of Nukul bringing the love birds together. Can we not have anything more interesting? Exactly what purpose does it serve for Nukul to bring them together unless you viewers/readers have the hots for Nukul and want to see him around some more?. I think the dadi is better looking.
OK, well the Abhi and Simi romance is now officially dead for me. After this week it is going to take more than the parting of the Red Sea for me to feel as though we have chemistry again. The creative team do not think like me. And that's sad.

Laila, have I told you that I immensely admire the fact that you actually took the trouble of calling Zeetv up... instead of merely sticking to the whining like the majority of us here...

you go girl! I'm all for the power of the individual! 👏

But let's face it... they're not really bothered by us complaining vis-a-vis the hollowness in this potentially wonderful love story. I think to them it's just one more aspect of the show... which has probably fared better in the public-eye than they expected! From the looks of it (noticed the new title image?) Simi's story now takes the back seat as the drama unfolds and Neetu's tale takes centre stage...

They're asking us to swallow the poorly fabricated facts that Abhi is in love with Simi beyond reason... that his true love is unconditional and not in need of boosting by reciprocal emotion (Yes I have numerous problems with that too... why is he? has he no self-respect...does she deserve him! Etc etc)

I'm thinking they're not about to start adding substance to the relationship, of the kind we'd like to see, to make it reach the promise that we know it held! At best we'll get some morsels of Abhi-Simi scenes of the likes of the mutual feeding on the terrace...that will perhaps be even more against the grain of it all... and will only result in more whining from us lot here and perhaps a few more phone calls from the likes of you 😊

But, as I understand it, their stand is, take it or leave it... Shame, that!

You're so funny Yasu!!!
However, shall we leave the fly out lest Dipa gets wind of this!! 😆
while I do not in anyway have the hots for Nakul... (and I think they have a poor actor playing him!) I still maintain that we're meant to like him! He has a character reference from our very insightful (umer mein chota , magar samajhdaar) Abhi afterall!
As to whether he should be the agent that brings together these two... I say a ghastly idea!!! Absolutely not! 🤢

OMG In the beginning when I was reading this I was shocked!
I was like how does Laila know this already and I had to look at the time to make sure again that today's episode is not aired yet in India and realised no, its just Laila's story and not the show!!

Laila, you have written it very convincingly!

But yes, atleast in her mind Simi should not give up so easily.
