Khan power on 'Dus Ka Dum' | 2008-07-02
Everything for the sake of nephew Imran's debut film!
Aamir Khan is like a bear that hibernates for most part of the year and just when his movie is ready for release, you can spot him everywhere from events to reality shows.
With his nephew Imran Khan's debut film 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' releasing this Friday, he's been pretty busy promoting the flick. After all, he is also the producer of the movie.
Now, Aamir's relations with SRK haven't been wonderful, especially after a particular dog licking incident. So, promoting his film on SRK's show 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain' was out of the question.
As such, the show is pretty low on TRPs and the possibility of a second season seems pretty remote!
Obviously, the next stop was 'Dus Ka Dum' hosted by Salman Khan. The two Khans will be seen together almost thirteen years after their comic hit 'Andaz Apna Apna'.
'Dus Ka Dum' is a reality show which allows a contestant to win up to 10 Crores by merely answering five questions correctly.
The catch in the show is that all the questions have to be answered in percentage. Most of these questions sound really absurd and answering them accurately is quite difficult.
It would be quite interesting to see how Aamir, the smartest Khan in the industry copes up with these questions.
Both Salman and Aamir are quite witty and it will be fun to see how they handle each other's jokes. In the promos of the show one can already hear Aamir say, "Salman is a real star. He comes at any time and leaves when he wants to. People like us keep working hard but Salman is the real star."
Aamir does seem to be on a sarcastic high these days!
Since there are only five questions, most of the show would be full of Salman and Aamir's funny antics, while newbie Imran will try to make a good first impression.
Although, with uncle Aamir on his side he doesn't have much to worry about!
