Chapter 1

Hearing the sound of the waves, feeling the cold breeze on her face and watching the ships sail far away gave her a sense of freedom taking her away from all the things that tied her.

Zoya (I wish I could stand on this hill all day but alas I have to go for work)

She half walked and half ran towards the port where she noticed a lot of commotion.

Zoya (Well... it must be the day rum arrives into the city)

She turned to look towards the port one last time and bumped into someone. But before she could apologize the guy brushed passed her. She could just catch a glimpse of his eyes that were beautiful and notice that he had a gun in his hands.

Zoya (I must get to work... It sure is going to be one heck of a day)

She reached the bar where she worked and opened it putting the close sign on the door though.

Zoya (I have to finish cleaning before the owner comes back.)

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Voice from outside "Open up! Gimme some booze!"

Zoya (A customer? It's not open yet... besides... the owner isn't here)

Zoya "Sorry. We're not open yet..."

Two man barged into the bar startling her.

Zoya "Hey!"

Man A "Gimme some rum, ya!"

Zoya (What am I gonna do? There are 10 of them. They all are surely bad guys.)

Zoya "I'm really sorry. We're not open till an hour now."

Man B "Ya wan't us go away, don't ya!"

This man suddenly pulls her towards him.

Man B "Ah, nice body ya got."

Zoya "No! Stop! Let me go!"

Man B "Stop? Booze and women are doctor's orders!"

Zoya "Somebody help...!"

BANG!

Zoya (A gun shot?)

Man B "Oof...!"

A guy bent over holding his arm.

Zoya (He is the guy I had bumped into. Is he a bad guy too?)

Guy "Stop flirting with a child. It's embarrassing."

Man C "Who are you?"

Guy "You go for a fragile one like this?"

Zoya (Fragile... It's an insult.)

Man A "That's it. You are over."

BAMM!

Another guy enters the bar.

Zoya (Another one... who's this?)

Another one "Asad! Looks like you need my help."

Man D "Who are you? Are you with this guy?"

Asad "Arjun, I can handle it on my own you know that."

Man E "You are only two. Ya know that ya have no chance?"

Man C "Let's beat them up."

Arjun guy draws out two swords.

Zoya (Wohoo!)

Arjun "Fine!"

Zoya (He is swinging two swords and beating his enemies one after another!)

Zoya (He's tough!)

Two men start approaching Zoya.

Asad "What are you doing?"

THRUNK! THRUNK!

Zoya (He's shooting at their knives only)

Man A "You... you... You are Sirius..."

Zoya (Sirius...?)

Asad "Girl, yo!"

Zoya "Oh!"

He garbs her arm.

Asad "Don't just stand here! Get out!"

Asad "Ha! You take an order right in."

Zoya "Huh?"

Asad "Don't be dazed off! Just get out."

Zoya nods and rushes out of the bar.

Zoya (These two guys saved me... I didn't even thank them though... But who were they?)

Zoya (They said Sirius... What is that? A constellation?"

Man E "There she is!"

Zoya (No! There they are again... looking for me... I have to get out of here.)

She runs towards the port and hides in a barrel.

Man C "Shit... Where is she?"

Man A "Damn it! We lost her!"

Zoya (I should be in here till they all go away.)

RATTLE

Zoya (Whoa!)

RUMBLE RUMBLE

Zoya (Oh, no! Somebody is taking this barrel somewhere?)

Zoya "Wait! Stop..."

TUNK

Zoya (Ouch! I hit my head... Ahh... I'm loosing...)

Some time passes by and Zoya finally gains her consciousness.

Zoya (I wonder how much time has passed?)

Zoya "I have to get out of here."

She tries removing the cover of the barrel.

KLAK! KLAK!

Zoya "It won't budge?"

Zoya (Something is on it! Oh my gosh!)

Zoya "Somebody! Help!"

A guy opens the barrel and Zoya gets out.

Zoya "Ah, Hi... Thanks..."

Guy "A girl?"

Zoya "I'm er..."

Guy "What? How? Why?"

Zoya "I am sorry. I was..."

Guy "Rum transformed into a girl."

Zoya "Excuse me? Can you hear me?"

Guy "Oh, man. I'm in deep trouble..."

Zoya (Seems like he can't hear me... He must be greatly disturbed...)

Another guy "Haider, what's taking ya so long?"

Haider "Matthew!"

Matthew "Whoa? What's a girl doing here?"

Haider "I don't know what's going on."

Zoya "I am so sorry... I..."

Matthew "How the hell did ya get on our ship?"

Zoya "Ship? Am I on a ship?"

Haider "Didn't you know?"

Zoya "I was chased by a bunch of bad guys and hid in this barrel..."

Matthew "Damn."

Matthew picked her up and put her on his shoulders.

Zoya "No! Let me down..."

Matthew "Shut up!"

Zoya (What is he going to do with me?)

Zoya is taken to a room where there are medicines. Matthew puts her down.

Zoya (Couldn't he put me down more gently?)

Matthew "Zaroon. You have got a patient."

Zaroon "Oh, this is an unusually pretty patient."

Zoya (Is he a doctor?)

Haider "I think she hit her head."

Zaroon "Let me see."

Zoya "Ow!"

Zoya (He's patting my head.)

Zaroon "You have got a big lump on your head. Put ice on there and it should heal right away."

Doctor Zaroon hands her the ice and she gently presses it on her head.

Zoya "Thank you!"

Haider "You are safe here. Don't worry."

Zoya tells them the full story and starts crying.

Zaroon "You have gotten on board without knowing it... I'm sorry..."

Zoya (He feels sorry for me... What kind of ship is this?)

Zaroon "I'll introduce you to the others. They are on the deck right now."

Matthew, Zaroon and Haider take Zoya to the deck.

Zoya (Pitch black sea... I am really on a ship.)

They hear laughter from the center of the ship.

Zaroon "Guys. Attention please. We have a guest."

The two men who were looking at a map and one of them turns up and look at Zoya.

Zoya (He is one the guys who saved me at the bar.)

Arjun "What is a girl doing on our ship?"

Zoya "You! You saved me from the bad guys earlier..."

Arjun "What? Who?"

Zoya (He doesn't remember me!)

Arjun moves his face closer to Zoya and examines her.

Arjun "I don't know you."

Zoya "What?"

Arjun "Is she your woman, Zaroon?"

Matthew "Doc doesn't have a woman. How about Asad?"

Asad turns and stares at Matthew.

Asad "What about me?"

Zoya "Ah, it's you..."

Asad "... You were at the bar..."

Zoya "Where is this ship going?"

Asad "What's your name?"

Zoya "It's Zoya..."

Asad "Zoya... I may remember that before the sea swallows you."

Zoya (Swallowed by the sea?)

Asad "Choose one, with a blindfold or without one."

Zoya (What is he talking about?)

Haider "Asad! You are thinking something dirty. Not on our ship."

Asad "Your mind is somewhere else."

Asad "I am talking about making her walk the plank and let her jump."

Zoya "What? Wait a minute! I just asked where we are going."

Arjun "Hee, hee... Where? You got to be kidding."

Matthew "A treasure island! Where else pirates do go!"

Zoya "Pirates?"

Zaroon "You seriously didn't know we are Sirius Pirates, did ya?"

Matthew "What a burden we have got?"

Arjun "That's enough! Let's just throw her in the sea!"

Zaroon "You are scaring her with all the talk."

Asad "You! Zoya, you don't want to be eaten by the sharks?"

Zoya "Of course not! Who wants that?"

Asad "Well then, we have to sell you at the harbor."

Zoya "Sell me?"

Asad "I'm a reasonable man, you know... You can have a choice."

Zoya "Throw me in the sea. And no blindfold."

Asad "Arjun, bring me a rope and a blindfold."

A man appears out of a room and everyone stops what they are doing.

Zoya (Looks like he is the captain.)

Captain "Where is my rum?"

Haider "It's gone."

Captain "Why is the rum always gone!"

The captain looks at Zoya and moves really close to her.

Captain "Well if you have come here for the man you love then let me tell you that my first and only love is the sea."

Zoya "Excuse me?"

Captain "It will never work between us darling."

Zaroon and Arjun step up and explain everything.

Captain "I am Captain Jack Sparrow."

Zoya "I have heard about you."

Captain Jack Sparrow "Aah.. I say that the girl stays on the ship as a member of the Sirius."

Arjun "But no girl is allowed to ride the Black Pearl'."

Matthew "Right, you made the rule."

Zaroon "We could call for a vote and then the captain can change the rules."

Matthew "Yes, after all the Sirius members listen to each other."

Captain Jack Sparrow "Ok... the five of you shall vote and we will decide. "

Zaroon "Stays."

Matthew "Does not."

Arjun "Does not."

Haider "Stays."

Zoya (That is two yes and two no. Asad's is the last vote. He hasn't said a word since the captain came. He will surely say no.)

Asad "Zoya can... can live."
