Chapter 2
The Pirate is an often misunderstood individual who can be seen absolutely fooling everyone around him/her. Well versed in the arts of cheekiness, deceit, theft, blackmail, and crazy acrobatic sword or knife fighting. The pirate always lands on his feet, and always wins, even when you think not. They are known to search for treasure or treasure maps.
Piracy, in international law, is typically an act of robbery or criminal violence at sea. The term can include acts committed on land, in the air, or in other major bodies of water or on a shore. Those who engage in acts of piracy are called pirates. The act of piracy is punishable by law.
Pirates don't follow the laws of the government nor have all the morals that a human must but they stick to their own guidelines and rulebook which at times is absurd to people who have no clue about the pirate law.
My story is inspired from the famous Pirates of the Caribbean' series. It will surely have lot of fictional and magical elements as it is a Pirate story. Also, the story is mainly in the dialogue form and the vocabulary might be a bit funny as Pirates have a different dictionary. Lastly, the entire story will be from Zoya's point of view.
Zoya Farooqi: A girl who ends up on The Black Pearl' which is a Pirate ship. She is a simple girl who loves the sea but has never land before. She always stands up for what she believes in even if it would mean that she is up against the world.
Asad Ahmed Khan: He is a member of the Sirius Pirates. His main job is navigation and he carries a gun for protection. He is very unpredictable and you never know what he may do or say next. There is more to him that meets the eye. He is extremely possessive and loves his gun more than anything.
Captain Jack Sparrow: The sea is his first love and he can't obviously live without rum. The Black Pearl' is his ship and for him, it stands for freedom. He believes that he is the best pirate ever and no one can absolutely outsmart him. People tend to think that he makes a plan will in advance but he just plans as he goes. He hates it when he is not referred by the word Captain'. He has been captain for 13 years now.
Arjun: He tends to be very rude but deep down is a very nice person. Once you get along with him, he will do anything for you. He was born a pirate though has never aspired to be a captain. He is arrogant and short tempered. He is always ready to pick up a fight.
Zaroon: He is the doctor on the Pirate Ship. He is very sweet and understanding. He sees through people and can understand their pain. He loves humming as he works.
Haider: He is the apprentice pirate and very fun to be with. He is always ready to help others though a bit scared of the other pirate members blaming him. He is a very determined person and gives all his might in anything he does.
Matthew: He is the cook on the Pirate Ship. He doesn't get along with others easily and very few manage to break the shell around him. He tends to worry a lot about little things and wants perfection in ever way.
Captain Tom: He is the captain of a rival Pirate ship, Dutchman. He clashes with Jack now and then. He is also a friend of Jack's and both share a weird bond. He is a flirt by nature.
Riya: She is a pirate abroad the Dutchman. She has always aspired to join the Sirius crew as The Black Pearl' draws her towards it. She is a greater dancer and a very good entertainer.
