Chapter 21

Yash was waiting for Aarti outside when she appeared there, he opened the car door. Meanwhile they reached somewhere Aarti never thought she would come back again. Yash opens her side of the door and gives her hand on finding her emotional. They entered her house and her eyes widened to see Gayatri.

"Aarti" Gayatri took her name in happiness. Aarti ran into her arms and hugged her like her small Aarti. Gayatri cries holding her close, Aarti still can't believe that her mother is alive. Gayatri parted and touched Aarti's face trying to make herself believe that she is fine and right now standing in front of her. Crying Aarti asked her why did her mama ji lie to her that she died. Gayatri gets shocked, why her brother would lie to Aarti. Gayatri's eyes fell on Yash who was smiling at the emotional reunion of the mother daughter. Aarti thanked him through eyes. Gayatri invited him inside and told Aarti how she met him. Aarti told her that he helped her to overcome her trauma.

"Thank you beta" Gayatri was truly grateful for him. Yash got shocked as she folded hands.

"Please don't do this, I'm like your son." He held her hand. Gayatri smiled at him and asked to take a seat and she left to bring water for both Yash Aarti. As she stepped out of the kitchen Aarti took a tray from her hand and gave Yash a glass. They sat there sharing what was missed all those years. Yash was admiring Aarti when she was non stop talking to Gayatri. It was night when Yash got Suraj's call who asked when he was returning home.

"Bauji is worried for me." Yash said, both the ladies look at him. Aarti actually gets sad that he needs to leave. Gayatri already told her that she won't go anywhere now and Aarti too wants to spend a lot of time with her mother but she also doesn't want to live without Yash for a moment more after their such a long separation.

"Take care beta" Gayatri smiled at him. He nodded and then looked at Aarti with longing eyes as he didn't know when they were going to meet now, as he just can't come here anytime. He turned to leave. Aarti stood there as Gayatri left for the kitchen telling she was gonna make her fav dish today.

"Yash" Aarti comes out of the house only to find Yash there opening his car door. He looked at her as she came near him. The road is completely empty as it is a small basti. Her eyes are sad. He cupped her cheek before his lips lovingly met her pink soft ones.

"I'll miss you" She closed eyes, curling hands around his neck.

"Me too baby" He grabbed her closer by waist, continuing to nibble her lips. Standing on her tip of the toe she desperately kisses him back. He deepened the kiss, the thought of not meeting her tomorrow making him sad, he never imagined that someday he will get addict to her this way. She passionately bit on his lower lip, fisting his thick hair.

"Jaanu" She moaned when he released her lips. He smiled, touching their forehead. Hearing Jaanu from her mouth after 10 years feels bliss to his ears.

"Go, maa might be waiting for you" He smoothed her messy hair. She smiled, taking a step back and feeling so shy, she ran inside.

Yash reached Scindia mansion and had his dinner with Suraj who asked him to permanently shift to India now. Yash was silent, thinking how he could leave his business there. Suraj assured him that he will make all the arrangements if he is ready to move here.

"I need some time to think." Yash stood, finishing his dinner.

"Take your time" Suraj got up from his chair. Maids start to clean the table.

Next day Yash called on Aarti's phone and told her that his father wanted him to move here. Aarti was really happy because she always wished that they lived in their own country. Getting Aarti positive opinion Yash too thought why not to give in to both their wishes. Whole day passed with him missing Aarti, he tried his best to concentrate on his pending work. But soon the thought of Aarti's Mama ji crossed his mind.

"Why did he lie to Aarti about Gayatri aunty's death?" He wondered.

Later Yash went to Aarti home.

Gayatri happily welcomed him. Aarti is also pleasant to see him there. She went to the kitchen to bring water and his fav adrak wali chai for him as he sat on the sofa talking to Gayatri.

"Maa ji, why would Aarti's mama ji lie to her?" Yash asked. Gayatri was also wondering the same so she decided to meet him. Yash took them both in his car. Aarti's mami was shocked to see both of them.

"Khushbu, where is Ravi?" Gayatri asked to see her pale face.

"Behen ji…Ravi is here only." Khushbu replied, somehow coming out of shock. Ravi comes out of the room and gets emotional to see his older sister and bhanji.

"Jiji…Aarti tum kahan chali gayi thi beta?" Ravi asked. Ravi's daughters Meenu and Reena also come out of their room.

"Why did you lie to Aarti that I was dead?" Gayatri looked at them 4 for an answer.

"What?" Ravi was shocked. Aarti told him how she called here from Akash farmhouse.

"Mami ji picked the phone." she said. Everyone looked at Khushbu. A tall man entered the house.

"Abbu" Khushbu speaks to see him. Ravi grabbed her arms.

"Tell the truth Khushbu" Ravi was angry, it's clear to her father. Khushbu looks at her father, he gets that their truth is out to see Gayatri and Aarti.

"Yes, that day I got Aarti's call. She asked me to save her from Akash. But…" she said, gathering some courage.

"But what?" Ravi yells.

"Akash gave me a huge amount of money." she cried. This shocked everyone.

"Because i saw him kidnapping Aarti" she remembered the day when she was on her way to market but saw akash taking Aarti. She comes home scared for Aarti.

"Why didn't you share it with me or anyone else?" Ravi questions getting shocked.

"She had told me." Khushbu's father says that he came to meet her and she came home really scared.

"Khushbu told me about Aarti getting kidnapped. I suggested to her that she not tell anyone about that and just blackmail Akash for money. Some days later Aarti managed to call here for help but Khushbu lied to her that her mother died of a heart attack after getting the news of her kidnapping." He told it without any shame, regret and fear.

"Why?" Ravi was speechless and didn't understand why Khushbu's father did something like this.

"Because I hate you, hate you for marrying my khushbu" He yells.

"I was always against her marrying out of my religion. When I get the opportunity, I encourage khushbu to blackmail Akash, because I know that one day the police will find out the truth and are going to put you both behind the bar. She doesn't listen to me and got married to you against my wish and now I no longer consider her my daughter" He finally told about his revengeful conspiracy. Everyone was stunned, including khushbu.

"Abbu" She looked at him with her moist, hurtful eyes.

"In your so-called revenge you destroyed Aarti's life and kept a mother daughter away." Yash finally spoke at last, he was holding his fist because Khushbu is a lady and her father is an old man. He just called the police number without any delay. Meanwhile police reached Ravi home and arrested khushbu and her abbu. Ravi was not himself to even ask for forgiveness from Gayatri and Aarti. He still can't believe that his happy family breaks like this. It's the target of someone's hatred.

Meanwhile Yash took Aarti and Gayatri back home. Aarti is upset with whatever happened. Gayatri got busy with some work to distract herself from over thinking the bitter truth. Yash got Suraj's call so he walked out of the house. Aarti went behind him.

"Yash" She stopped him. He turned back.

"I'm going to Italy" He shocked her.

"How I'm going to live without you here" She hugged him curling hands around his waist.

"I'm going to return here, humesha ke liye." He told her. She looked at him. He nods yes.

"I need to see a lot of things there" He told how he hadn't even gone there for one month.

"I haven't even seen maa." He said. Aarti feels guilty for making him so vulnerable in her absence.

"I'm so bad!" She looked down at his chest.

"No, you're my cutest baby" Yash cupped her face only to kiss her forehead. Aarti smiled looking at him with her moist eyes.

"Promise me today that you won't again look at me with these eyes blurred with tears" He wiped the moisture from under her eyes.

"Promise" She cutely nods. He smiles, grabbing her tightly into his arms.

"Come back soon" She clutched onto him sadly.

"Very soon" He hide face in her neck even though he is consoling her but he himself feels like not leaving her.

Next day Yash caught his flight. Aarti was really upset, Gayatri scolded her for being sad when Yash was on the flight.

"Shubh nahi hota" Gayatri said. Aarti instantly smile and left for her room, called him but his phone came off. She made a grumpy face coming out and found Gayatri who is making potato chips because it's Aarti's fav snack. Gayatri was smiling at her crazy daughter. Aarti tried to smile and sat there pretending to help.

"I never saw anyone getting so worried for her friend." Gayatri said. Then only Aarti realized that Gayatri still doesn't know that they're in love.

"Maa I want to tell you something" Aarti thought to tell her but then she got scared as she didn't know how she was going to react. So she decided that when Yash returns then only she will tell her.

"Actually I'm hungry" she left for the kitchen.

Later in the evening Gayatri and Aarti were returning from the market when Aarti noticed two guys following them in some distance. Aarti created a huge drama in fear, everyone looked at her then she told them that those two guys are teasing her. All people were about to hit them when they said something which surprised Aarti.

"We are your bodyguards." One of the guy speaks. Aarti didn't believe him so he made a call to Yash.

"Yes baby, they're for your safety" Yash speaks to her. Aarti smiled awkwardly at the two guys.

"But what is the need?" She asked, not understanding why Yash appointed them.

"I'll be out of India and how can I leave my girl just like this, you're precious to me" Yash lovingly told her. She blushed but then looked at Gayatri who was giving her confused look so she instantly smiled at her ending call. They left for home. The two guys followed them in distance as Aarti Gayatri stepped in home and they stood outside the house.

"Yash is such a nice guy." Gayatri says, moving to her room. Aarti blushes leaving for her room.

Ishita and Aarti's other friends were happy when they found out that Yash found Aarti in Bhopal and that now they're together.

"Sir, why doesn't she come with you?" Hina asked.

"Aarti met her mother after so long so now she wants to spend a lot of time with her." Yash told them.

"I'm really very happy for her, but I hope someday she comes to meet us." Ishita said. Yash smiled nodding.
